274 I Don't Care Fei Yan

Fei Yan on the other hand was falling right into Wu Zhang's trap without even realizing it herself. She grabbed his jaw harder and stared right into his eyes, shooting daggers. "You really want to laugh, ha?"

In his answer, Wu Zhang just smiled broader, which made Fei Yan continue. "Laugh all you want. You can laugh for the next three days and I won't stop you, but then you will not be able to laugh anymore. Do you know why?"

Wu Zhang pretended to be thinking something and after a moment he shook his head, "I don't know and I don't really care to know either, Fei Yan."

Fei Yan left his jaw and grabbed a handful of his hair just above his nape and tugged at it, to lift his head. "You will Wu Zhang." Her fingers traced the left side of his face, from above his temples to his cheekbone, all the way before pausing on his lips. "But once I take you back with me to Texas and get your memory masked, you will not be able to smile anymore."

The smile although remained intact on Wu Zhang's lips, his eyes got rid of the mirth that they had just now, replacing it with coldness, and when those cold eyes looked back in Fei Yan's it gave her chills down her spine.

Not wanting to fall weak in front of him, she quickly schooled her features back and said in a composed voice to the men who were standing behind her. "Weng Qin, I have heard that you are the most caring person here. So I don't want you to slack off in your hospitality towards our guest. It would be a pity if he would face any trouble during his stay here."

She then turned back to Wu Zhang. "Speaking of hospitality, let me do the honors first." She then extended her hand towards the man who was standing behind her, who placed a knife in her open palm. Fei Yan gave off a sinister smile as she ran a finger on the blunt edge of the blade of the knife lightly. "What would you do if I ruined this pretty face of yours? Think Song Jia would still love you?"

"Well then let's try it out, shall we?" The next instant the sharp edge of the knife's blade was on Wu Zhang's cheek and Fei Yan pressed it deeper into his skin, making a small drop of blood seep out. She wanted to see an expression of pain or fear in Wu Zhang's eyes, but she saw none and therefore she pressed further, before moving the knife down, enlarging the cut. "You know what, Wu Zhang? You will pay for splashing that glass of water on my face," she whispered every word very slowly, looking straight into his eyes.

She moved the knife very slowly yet firmly, letting him feel the pain but Wu Zhang did not even flinch. "In the next three days, I will make sure you regret that day and beg me for my mercy. You will regret rejecting me and choosing that broken shoe over my love for you."

"Is that embarrassment that I sense in your voice, Fei Yan?" His voice turned a little hoarse. "Embarrassment for being rejected and humiliated?" He chuckled lightly, making his chest reverberate.

Unable to control her anger any more, Fei Yan stabbed the knife in Wu Zhang's left bicep and hissed, "We will soon find out what it is that you sense in my voice, embarrassment or threat."

Wu Zhang inhaled a sharp breath from pain and his face squinched, but he uttered nothing. Fei Yan held the knife in there for a while and then pulled it out, before throwing it away. "Keep a close eye on him! Make sure to not serve him any food or water. He needs to detox that bitch's love from his system first."

After giving her orders, she left the room, leaving the clicking sound of her heels behind. Once she was out of the room a cold smile appeared on Wu Zhang's face and he murmured, "And you successfully landed yourself into my trick Fei Yan."

His purpose was to just find out the flaws in her plans and he had achieved that easily. Out of anger, Fei Yan had told him that she was going to take him out of the country after 'three days'. Any person who had even the slightest bit of intelligence would make sure to take him out of the country right away because the longer they kept him here, the chances of getting caught would get higher. And so it could mean only one thing, Fei Yan was facing some trouble in her plans of flying him out of here. The longer she kept him here, the harder it would get for her to proceed further.
