"Okay then, since no one is acting like a crybaby, let's go inside."

Turning around once again, I was about to step inside the boundaries of the influence of my tower, only to get actually pulled inside by Heila instead. Looking at the excited look on her face, I could guess why she was soo eager to get back there.

It was a pity that with how I began my adventure with magic and energy, I had no way to feel the same sensations that all the people did when they stepped inside. With our example, I could see more and more malnourished people, turning back into their prime in a matter of seconds after following our steps inside the barrier.

"This is awesome!"

With my little toy once again running around in joy just like some kind of playful dog after being freed from the leash by its owner, I couldn't help but smile. If that was the way they reacted to just abundance of the energy in the air, I couldn't help but wonder what their faces would look like, or rather, how would they act upon seeing their new home!

"Everyone, I know how insane this feeling is, but we still have to reach your new home. Follow me."

Leaving the matter of registering everyone to Bonger, I keep tabs at the energy counter of my stronghold. About the time where a third of the entire group entered the place, it started slowly falling down, as if something was taking the energy from the core, only to speed up with every next person entering the place, but before we even managed to reach the doors to the tower, it started climbing back to its previous state.

Taking a look around, I could see that most of the people stopped absorbing the mana as soon as their bodies regained their natural vigour, but for some reason, a small group randomly distributed amongst the entire unit continued to soak the energy like a sponge!

I guess it varies between them, depending on how strong they managed to get.

While this was only a theory, I had no way to confirm or deny it. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find any other sensible way to explain what was happening before my eyes!

And it wasn't like I could spend a lot of time doing so.

The sun was already setting, and it was a priority to get everyone inside the small world before the night would fall. Even with my upgraded senses, I didn't want to run around the place, collecting all those who lagged behind!

"Listen, guys. I think you know what to expect now, but keep in mind that this time, I won't leave after going inside. There is something I need to check inside, so just form a queue and make sure to step in one by one! Don't forget to get the canopies with you either!"

The air was already turning colder with every passing second. Even if all those people couldn't feel it after their bodies were forcefully fed the energy, it didn't mean that they wouldn't be affected by it. As soon as the excitement would die off, they would be once again subjected to the force of nature.

And I didn't want to start off the new community with half of them falling to the clutches of influenza!

Thinking about it… I never thought about the differences between earthly illness and those available in store for this world! Even if my body was probably immune to most of them with how high my resistance statistic was from the moment I transcended and got Bonger to activate, that didn't apply to the others!

With no medicinal knowledge about this world, all I could do was to take preemptive measures against any plague spreading, unless I was ready to replace the population of my small world every hundred years or so!

Ditching all those thoughts aside, I took my first step. Then second. Then third.

I could feel Heila involuntarily tightening her hands around my arm as we finally stepped through the threshold… Only to completely hang herself on my hand when the scenery changed from the blurry insides of the tower to a sunny field, decorated with occasional young trees and combs of flowers.

The only, clearly unnatural thing visible in this entire place, was a small wooden hut, standing at the foothold of a mild hill, with three burly men busying themselves with tinkering with wooden planks.

"What is this place…"

Unable to comprehend the tranquil beauty of what she was seeing, Heila could only stare into the distance, with tears starting to form at the bottom of her eyes.

I think that after everything she had to go through, hell of the slave camp and even bareness of the island when she first managed to either see it or confirm it with her own body when she got ashore, this green place filled with clean air infused with a considerable amount of mana had to appear like a damned paradise for her!

"Welcome to my small world. From now on, this will be the home of all your folks who followed me."

As if some kind of prophet announcing the opening of the gates of heaven, I freed myself from her grasp, took a few steps forward and declared, while spreading my arms wide. To be honest, the elated expression on her face when she couldn't help but just stay in place and gaze at this intricately beautiful world felt like if I painted a picture and got someone to compliment it for the first time!

Seeing her blissful smile, I couldn't help but be reminded of Eve. Heila's current expression was painfully close to how my fiancee used to look at me, whenever we shared any moment of our life.

Unable to hold back the sadness, my mind attempted to fight it off by betting on the arousal, suddenly flooding my mind with the pictures of this silly girl moaning under me while in the higher floors of the tower.

Wait, floors? Tower?

Out of nowhere, the gate that used to be just beside us, suddenly vanished, only to appear about three meters further away, with Jessie coming out of it. Right after this, more and more people continued to appear, always three meters further away from the tower than the previous guest.
