"Body reinforcing pills? Aren't you a bit too strong for them to have any use for you?"

After sealing off all the entrances to the library and going back to the surface through the tunnel connecting to Monica's mansion, I inadvertently stumbled on my former teacher.

To be frank, this was quite an excellent opportunity, as I didn't want to bother with a massive crowd of people stopping me from doing literally anything. Be it to express their gratitude, ask for information about what happened or even blame me for killing the people that they believed to protect them. Chancing upon Monica just like that, allowed me to save myself the trouble and obtain everything that I needed without going for an extra mile for hiding from everyone else with my illusions.

"I'm not going to use them directly. You could say those pills are just a part of the recipe that I will be using. Also, do our sect have some kind of warehouse with medicinal herbs? I would love to check if some of the ingredients I'm missing could be found there."

While in theory, I was still but a simple disciple, without even dark blue robes that would indicate that I reached a respected status; in reality, my situation was quite different. In the supremacy challenge, one not only went against the enemies that were challenged in the first place, but this set of fights were most commonly used when a disciple didn't agree with the level of the sect he belonged to.

That's why, when I defeated Gorilla's Sect Master, I inevitably elevated my standing to that of a sect leader, even if I had no sect that I could manage. Yet as if that wasn't enough, I went on and challenged the authority of the ancestors, only to uncover the fact that this entire group was bogus!

Even if it was questionable whether that should warrant as me reaching the dignity level of an ancestor, it went without saying that as a sect master level of a disciple in the sect, I was entitled to all sorts of resources. Thanks to my status, not to speak about rewards for not only fulfilling the task that Monica put on me but even going as far as singlehandedly solving the problem of the Penguin sect, I could ask for whatever I wanted!

"Ah, so that's the case. Follow me then."

For some reason, after the showcase at the foothold of the ancestral mountain, Monica was quite reluctant to speak with me. While it was already a second time when I approached her, she kept her sentences to short phrases as if she was shy about something.

Yet since I was a gentleman, I decided not to pursue the matter. Even if we had some fun together at the very beginning of our relationship, I knew it was more for the sake of rewarding me for entering her sect and tutelage rather than the realisation of her feelings. After all, what feelings could she have for me barely after meeting me for the first time? Even if she was awed by my capabilities, it wasn't something as big as to warrant her offering her own body!

In just a few minutes, my former teacher leads me away from her mansion to the very top of the Goose sect mountain. As we were walking, I could see all kinds of dark blue and bright blue robbed disciples sending me curious looks, as if they not only didn't participate in the grand ceremony but even failed to notice the changed that it brough!

"This is the sect leader's mansion. Only with his permission, one might enter the vault."

After reaching a set of huge doors, Monica obediently stood on their side, with her arm extending towards the huge knob just above the handle. Seeing that she was unwilling to guide me inside the building, I attempted to open the doors, only to realise that there was a dominant force protecting them from prying open even the tiniest bit!

"You need to announce yourself with the know first."

With her back already bending forward as if she didn't dare to remain upright in the face of such a colossal disrespect that I dared to commit, she instructed me about the proper procedures. Yet while I didn't want to stand out too much, I didn't see any reason to cave in for such stupid demands!

Taking just a moment to gather the strength on top of my palm as I scanned the entire building with my energy vision… I suddenly changed my mind. Initially, I was going to open the doors forcefully, but upon realising that the runes that held this place closed were as far from the ones that were made by the locals. Despite how I didn't bother myself to look through all the compiled data from the library, just from what I saw while browsing the manuals along with what I heard from Celleria, this rune clearly gave off the aura vibe!

With the realisation of what this discovery meant, I had no other choice than to turn aggressive. Keeping the energy already coated around my fist, I infused it to the limit with entropy before separating it into two distinctive layers.

As the entropy was on the outside of this strange construct, I kept the pure magical energy inside it for the later use.

BOOM!

As my fist, or rather the entropy covering it, collided with the thick wood of the doors reinforced by this auratic rune below the entire mansion, I could feel something cracking under pressure.

And just like that, with a strange force that opposed my first suddenly giving up, the doors swung open, revealing a vast internal corridor, leading to a small room in the very centre of the building. As the only path forward was surrounded with an enchanted column from all sides, I could tell that in any other scenario, going forward against the will of the sect master would mean a quick death for the intruder.

Yet just a single scan with energy vision was enough for me to confirm that with my entropy breaking the source that supplied the barrier at the doors with energy, no hidden trap on the road would work!

But I wasn't as dumb as to fully believe that in my current state, I was capable of seeing through all the traps and schemes. Before even covering my body with several layers of barriers, I finally consumed the energy at the top of my first, turning it into a pure weak fireball.

With how the entropy that would typically serve as the controlling agent for the effectiveness of the energy within a spell was out of the picture, this otherwise averagely effective spell of mine almost instantly reached the level of the fireflare that twice reached the point of endangering my own life!

Yet as my entire fighting capability grew, I slacked to the point of neglecting the vast majority of my skills. Even if I knew that was the case, I couldn't find an opportune moment to practice anything that wasn't useful in daily life properly!
