Chapter 572: To see a world within a droplet of void (1)

Maybe it happened due to how I already dabbed my hands in the void, but this time the travel between two ends of the portal was slightly different. While I could still feel Eve's and Celleria's presence, with how none of my senses worked at this moment, I had no way of confirming whether my feeling was right or not. Because instead of instantly appearing on the other side, it felt as if my body turned a bit too robust to just skid over through the endless space of void!

Despite how every single atom of my body was slowly evaporating and releasing its energy to push me even further, I was simply too big for such a punny force to fight against the entirety of the world's void! One could say, that rather than just cut through it back into the world, I was now tearing the void itself apart, leaving a trail of destruction behind me!

But how could there even by any destruction in the void, where there was literally nothing but perfectly stable energy?

And that was the point. With my passage, I seemed to influence the void with enough force, to make it lose its balance!

Already knowing what that would entail for me, I fully focused myself on trying to move through the void even faster, only for the scale of the damage to the void to continue to increase alongside with my efforts!

Quickly realising what was going on, I stopped myself. With no medium for the light to travel, I should be unable to see anything at all, yet with my momentum stalling, I could swear that something insane happened.

It was as if my eyes suddenly opened up. Out of nowhere, I could see a vast, empty space, filled to the brim with overflowing energy. Yet rather than being a thing in itself, completely separated from everything around it, I could clearly see how more and more of both types of energy continued to surge inside this strange sphere!

'What the heck…'

Unable to stop myself from swearing in my mind, I continued to watch as the insides of this peculiar object changed. With more and more energy floating it, it started to clump itself into even denser areas, quickly separating the bubbles of the pure, magical energy from the calm and majestic sea of entropy.

Just this by itself was enough to stun me out of existence. Never in my life have I seen something so simple, yet so profound appearing right in front of my eyes!

To think that I would gain some insight into the differences between the two states of the energy in such an extraordinary way!

As the sphere continued to evolve, I had to pull my thoughts away from it, as it was only capable of consuming a certain amount of inflowing energy. On the other hand, the trail of the unsettled void that continued to produce more and more of energy with its vibrations, appeared like a mighty ocean in front of a small pond when compared to that small world created in front of my eyes!

With no other choice, I once again pushed myself to the limit, forcing as much energy as I had in my body, away from it. Yet, what I didn't expect at all, was for that surge of magic and entropy alike, to actually strike the sphere!

'I wonder what does that mean…'

Despite all my efforts, the rate at which I could expel the energy from my entire self was insanely slow. But as if that wasn't enough to put me down, as soon as even a bit of my power touched the everpresent void, it would create an area of instability capable of tearing my original world apart with just a single vibration on its own!

Thankfully, no matter how rilled up this strange universe was, the rate at which the destructive bubble of energy was growing was just a tad slower than the speed at which I was trying to escape from its clutches.

And while all of that was happening, I was somehow capable to still perfectly perceive the sphere from before, as if infusing it with my power created an inseparable bond between me and that sphere!

With my situation currently stable, I realised that it was a great moment to test out some of my theories! Just from how I saw the physical difference between how pure magic and entropy would form when in huge amounts, I gained a few ideas that could incredibly influence not only my cultivation but that could also hold a secret of becoming an immortal!

Because if my current guess was right, the way to cultivate entropic energy and pure energy, was completely different in the very foundation of how it was perceived! At this point, I could tell that with entropy, rather than trying to form a stable, solid core as the basis for one's cultivation, entropic energy had to constantly flow in order to be of any effect!

For people like me, used to store it within one's body rather than allowing it to freely flow through it, just this idea was enough to put me in several hundred years of seclusion, while I would try to decipher all the little meanings and opportunities it presented!

But rather than focusing on something as silly as my personal growth, I realised that rather than only watching what was going on in that strange sphere, I was able to influence it to a certain degree!

With more and more of my expelled energy injecting itself into this world, it seemed as if its capacity for the pure forms of energy continued to increase!

Soon, those clumps of magic that I saw before started to form what looked like galactic dust formations, quickly turning into proper galaxies! Suddenly bringing my vision up, I could watch as violent volcanic eruptions ripped entire planets apart, making their matter join the circle of formation and destruction once again.

Only after what seemed like an eternity frozen within one moment, did I manage to find an infant planet. But despite similar events happening all over this strange space of mine, this one particular object brought my utmost attention.

Because as far as I could tell, the way in which its entire solar system was laid out, resembled how my original sun's neighbourhood used to look like!
