This time, I didn't dare to use normal iron available in the forge. With access to far greater materials from my storage ring, I simply took out an ingot of orichalcum that I apparently received from the shop.

Infusing my energy into the ore, I was going to throw it into the forge when a notification popped out inside my head.

"Blop!"

"Do you wish to use item randomizer?"

Well, I still have some more of those ores, so I think it's worth giving a try.

After taking out some of the other rare materials from my storage ring, I grabbed them all in my hands.

I wish to put those items into item randomizer.

BOP!

In a flash, a glowing sphere appeared in front of me, lightly pulling on the materials gathered in my palms. After giving a last, longing look towards this rare and expensive stuff, I closed my eyes and inserted them into the sphere.

As soon as I retracted my hands, I felt a pull on my energy, as the sphere started stealing it from my mana pool! While it wasn't the best feeling that I have experienced in my life, it was bearable so I just waited for the effects.

With a funny POB sound, the sphere imploded, leaving a lump of shining metal with a round hole on its side. After hanging in the air for a few seconds as I stared at it with a dumbfounded look, it suddenly felt down to the floor!

CRASH!

In an instant, this seemingly useless Bonger's poop, crashed through the stone floor and sank down about four meters into the ground under the building foundations!

How heavy it is supposed to be to just break through all those layers of stone slabs and crushed stone underneath?

As Eve watched me with a dumbfounded look on her face, I had to get down on my knees and dig all the way down to where this metal piece laid. Finally grabbing it with of hands, I could feel how heavy it was. While I was able to lift it with relative ease, I understood that with just a slightly lower strength stat, I wouldn't be able to lift it at all!

"Blop!"

"Warhammer head +7, rare grade"

"Only usable in blunt attacks"

"Required strength: 180"

"Required constitution: 180"

Wait, why are the stats only speaking about the requirements? Where is my sweet sweet bonus to my attacks?

Looking at this lump of metal that barely had any form, I couldn't help but curse at Bonger in my thoughts. If that's the effect of average smithing… Wait! I think I get it. I guess my smithing ability won't be taken into account while randomising the items!

I guess we need to do the smithing in the old way.

Throwing the warhammer head into my storage ring, I took out another ingot, this time of Mythril. This legendary metal from all the fantasy stories all around the earth was supposed to be light as a feather but resilient as steel… I guess that won't do for the entirety of the sword!

Taking another orichalcum from my storage ring, I infused both of the ores with my energy, before throwing them into two separate forges. Thanks to advancing the smithing skills I knew that not only the ores needed to be infused with my energy but the flames itself as well!

As the solid metal slowly heated up, I continued supplying the heat with my own energy while taking out the sewing kit and a few bits of cheap leather that I procured on the first floor on the shop before it got devastated by the shop owner outburst.

"Blop!"

"Lethercrafting ability acquired!"

After running the needle through the skin in random places a few times, I finally acquired the ability that I was looking for.

Bonger, I want to raise it all the way to the twentieth level of bad leathercrafting!

"Blop!"

"Cost of the upgrade will be 190 attribute points."

"Do you wish to proceed?"

Of course I do.

This time, I remembered to prepare myself for the influx of knowledge and understanding. Just like that, I got my hands on a bad grade of the ability I required for the sake of making some kind of protection for me and Eve!

While controlling the state of the metal ores in the forge, I started running the needle with professional movements and precision through the patches of hardened leather that I acquired. Before I even bothered to take out scissors or the thread, I riped the big patch of the good quality leather apart, only to start smearing it with a 'Zannazan essence', that felt like something that would be of use.

To be honest, at this level of crafting, I didn't pick any materials to upgrade the quality consciously. I simply followed my instincts while rummaging through the storage ring!

After every last bit of the hardened leather was infused with the essence, I pierced the eye of the needle with the thread, and with just a few swift movements created an outline of a jacket. Seeing that the metal was yet to melt, I nodded at Eve, asking her to come closer.

Even if she was in the smithy with me, she wasn't really of any help. With my crafting abilities steeming purely from the system, I didn't try to boast with them as I never had to pay any real price to learn them.

Taking another piece of thread, I stood behind Eve's back, raised her arms and started measuring her body as to get a general idea of how big her jacket should be.

With all the measurements done, I pushed her slightly away, clearly in heat of crafting. While I know I'm not acting kindly at all, my mind was fully focused on two simultaneous processes that I was taking care of.

With just a few cuts of the scissors and another few pierces of the needle, I finished making the general part of the jackets for both me and my beloved. But this was nowhere near the end!

Taking a mineral resembling diamonds from the storage ring, I used my energy to crush it into dust, before throwing it at both the front and backside of the primitive armours. With just a few movements of my opened palm, I made sure that it was spread over all evenly on the face of the leather, before turning around and putting them away. With that, the leathercrafting part of my job was done.

Just as if the timing was done by God's hand, as soon as I diverted my attention back to the smithing process, the orichalcum ore finally softened to the point where I could start hammering it.

Taking it out, I took out my windslord and slashed at the long thread of soft metal, to split the ore in half.

Taking the molt out of the forge, I placed it down on the anvil and started hammering it down to put it into the shape of the sword's core. With my ability already improved, I didn;'t need to look at the product at all, following my wits instead.

As soon as I got satisfied with the results, I actually placed still hot rod into the cold water in the nearby barrel, before inserting it into the crucible with the molten Mythril!

Because of its still thick consistency, almost the entire content of the crucible glued to the orichalcum rod. Cutting the excessive content away with my windslord, I placed the product back on the anvil and hammered it down into the shape of the end product. As soon as I was satisfied with the results, I simply threw it into the water and actually left it there!

Following the same steps once more with the second half of the metals, I managed to craft exactly the same sword before a sudden bout of tiredness overwhelmed my body. With no strength left, I simply sat on the ground and breathed in and out a few times, before Eve actually came and sat down on my side, hugging my side.

"Blop!"

"Twin swords created!"

"Please, name the weapons!"
