Chapter 60 - Spawn Spot.

''What is this place?'' Isaac looked around. He only saw a large cave with brownish walls.

Darth looked at the wall, where they came from. He touched it, but it was hard solid, he even tried to break it by using his fist, but not even a scratch appeared.

''Well... We are trapped.'' Darth said and looked at the spacious room in front of them. There were blue crystals hanging from the ceiling, bringing light to the cave.

But, the cave didn't seem to have an exit, only walls, a ceiling, and blue crystals.

''Can you send a message to others?'' Isaac asked.

Darth opened his Interface and tried to press Queen Diana's nametag, but nothing happened.

''No... Weird, usually you can't message if you are in a battle...'' Darth narrowed his eyes. He feels like this cave is becoming more mysterious with each passing second.

Darth took one special arrow from his quiver. He put it on the bowstring and aimed it towards the end of the cave, where a wall was located.

*SWOOSH*

The arrow left the bowstring and flew straight towards the wall with perfect accuracy.

Once the arrow hit the wall, it broke in half and started glowing.

*BOOM!*

The arrow exploded, and a massive dust cloud appeared.

Isaac tried to use his eyesight to see did it work, but the dust cloud was too thick. He couldn't see through.

They had to wait until the dust cloud settled, and once it was gone... They saw a wall, which was perfectly unharmed.

Not a single scratch on it.

''Tsk.'' Darth clicked his tongue. They seem to be truly trapped.

Isaac sighed, but then he took a glance at the ground and saw weird marks...

They looked like claw marks...

Isaac crouched and touched the marks, ''Someone has been here before, not players... But something.''

Darth looked at the marks, ''They are claw marks from some Beast, but it looks like they found a way out.''

Isaac turned his head towards the blue crystals and wondered the meaning behind them, ''What are these crystals?''

Darth shrugged, ''No idea, first time seeing them.''

''I have seen them before...'' Isaac murmured. He took his Flintlock Pistol and aimed towards the blue crystals.

*BANG*

He pressed the trigger, and the bullet left like a cannon.

*BAM*

Once the bullet hit the crystal, something strange happened.

The bullet disappeared... Like it had entered another dimension.

''Hehe, so that's where we have to go.'' Darth grinned and was about to start climbing, but then... A figure dropped appeared in the ceiling!

The figure had four limbs with black fur covering his body. He had menacing-looking red eyes with whiskers around his nose.

Isaac quickly aimed his Flintlock Pistol towards the Shadow Panther and fired!

*BANG*

Once the bullet was about to hit the Shadow Panther... It vanished!

The bullet hit the nearby wall while Shadow Panther was nowhere to be seen.

''Be careful!'' Darth shouted and was ready to fire with his bow.

Soon 18 seconds went by, and Isaac could finally reload.

The Shadow Panther has disappeared into the smoke.

Darth gulped. He had sweat dripping down his face, but then... He felt small breathing noise coming behind him.

He widened his eyes. He quickly jumped into the air and fired his arrows towards his previous spot.

The arrows landed on the ground, but slight growling noise was heard.

''He is invisible!'' Darth shouted.

Isaac narrowed his eyes and looked around the cave. He and Darth were 5 meters away from each other. If one of them gets attacked, it will be easy to help.

With the corner of his eyes, he saw an outline of a figure climbing the wall... Slowly creeping up to them.

Isaac slowly moved his Pistol, and once he was sure that the Shadow Panther didn't notice...

He turned around and fired!

*BANG*

The bullet pierced through the shadowy figure's body, which caused blue-colored liquid to be splashed around.

''RAAAAAAAWR!'' The invisibility of Shadow Panthers was now useless. His fur was covered in blue liquid, which wasn't hidden by the invisibility.

[-145 HP!]

Darth quickly fired his ordinary arrows, and soon three arrows pierced through Shadow Panther's body.

The Shadow Panther took two shaky steps until it turned into pixels.

[Darth Killed Shadow Panther!]

[250 XP Earned!]

Isaac looked at the notification with a raised eyebrow, ''Why did I get 250 XP if I didn't kill it?''

''The party shares the XP earned, that's why it is not very profitable to move with large parties.'' Darth said, ''We both earned 250 XP, so if the Shadow Panther was killed by a solo player, he would earn 500 XP.''

Isaac nodded, ''It is worth it, though.''

''Definitely, we can kill Beasts and Monsters way above level with good teamwork.''

Isaac nodded and looked back at the ceiling, ''Don't you think it's weird...''

Darth pondered for a moment before he exclaimed, ''I think what this is!''

''Hmm?'' Isaac looked at him with curiosity.

''It is the spawn point!'' Darth said with a shocked look, ''The Monsters and Beasts don't just pop out from thin air. They are being spawned from somewhere, and I think we found it! This is a great discovery!''

Isaac gulped, ''T-Then... There is a chance of the strongest Monsters spawning... Like level 100?''

Darth shook his head, ''I think there are multiple spawn points. Otherwise, the edge of the forest wouldn't have only low-level monsters.''

''That makes sense... But it is still dangerous to stay here... What if a dozen monsters around level 20 appears?''

Darth looked conflicted, ''But... I think it is worth it! Level 20 monsters aren't that common after all, especially near the edge of the forest, so we could perhaps use this chance to rack up a lot XP.''

Isaac scratched his head and nodded, ''What if stronger monsters appear? We don't have an escape route. We are completely trapped.''

''Hmm...'' Darth pondered and looked towards the ceiling. He just had a crazy idea...

''What if... We enter the dimension where the monsters come from?''

''What?! We would die in seconds!'' Isaac felt like Darth was indeed crazy!

Darth grinned and shook his head, ''No... Apparently, if you enter a dimension that is outside Human Realm, you will be teleported back to the outside world. Maybe that is the exit!''

''This is a crazy idea... But, I am in.'' Isaac reloaded his gun and aimed it towards the ceiling.

Darth grinned and put a few ordinary arrows on the bowstring, ''Time to start grinding XP!''
