Chapter 79 - Present.

Name:White Online Author:
Isaac groggily opened his eyes and saw him standing in the middle of a slightly familiar room.

''I got teleported all the way here?!'' Isaac exclaimed and recognized this place!

He got teleported all the way to his rented room!

Isaac quickly looked underneath his bed, and all his items were still there. He took a slight sigh of relief and took all his new items from the Inventory, and stored them all underneath his bed.

He received items from Chase, Luck, and Turmoil, but he also received items from his visit to the Cave of Mysteries!

He and Darth received quite a lot of good stuff, and they decided to split all of them.

''Ah right.'' Isaac facepalmed, ''I forgot to add her as a friend.'' He sighed as he scratched his beautiful and fluffy hair.

It isn't possible to add friends without standing right in front of that person. Game Developers did that so that streamers won't get spammed with friend requests, but they made a method for real-life friends to still add each other as friends without having to meet each other directly.

The VR Helmet has a separate account for that purpose. They can add their real-life friends as their friends in the VR Helmet and can join the same starting village that way.

Isaac has his own VR Helmet account as well, and that account is already linked with his Wraith account, which means that if he wants to use a different account to play the game.

He needs to buy a new VR Helmet, make a new VR Helmet account, and finally do a new account in White Online.

''I need to ask for her VR Helmet account ID,'' Isaac murmured to himself; if he had her as his friend in the VR Helmet account, he could instantly add in the White Online as well, without a need to go find her first.

''Oh, right.'' Isaac put on his Interface in front of him.

He looked at the time limit.

[05:13.34]

''Five minutes...'' Isaac murmured; he didn't have anything left to do, but he needed to test a theory.

Last time he lost all his clothes for some reason. He wanted to test if the reason is really because the time limit ended, or is it something else.

It felt extremely weird for that to happen, maybe it is a glitch, but Isaac wanted to find out and ask from the forums if it happened again.

The time slowly ticked down.

Sometime later, only 10 seconds remained.

Isaac this time, looked more closely at what happens when the time limit ends.

*Ding* *Ding*

A bunch of notifications popped in front of him.

[You have been forcefully logged out!]

Isaac saw his body turning into pixels the same way as when he logged out, but what was different was the bright light that appeared right in front of his eyes, which caused Isaac to close his eyes.

After the bright light disappeared, he again opened his eyes and saw the familiar white visor covering his vision, and he felt the VR Helmet uncomfortably sticking to his skin. It seems that he has slightly sweated, which caused his clothing to stick to his skin, but that also made the VR Helmet feel very uncomfortable.

Isaac quickly took off the VR Helmet and put it gently back on the bed. He moved his limbs, which were once again very numb.

''This is really annoying.'' Isaac rubbed his numb body parts; he was starting to feel more annoyed.

After he was starting to feel his limbs again, he took the VR Helmet, put it gently on the box, and hid it in the wardrobe.

*Growl*

Isaac's stomach rumbled.

Isaac held his stomach and remembered that he hadn't eaten since morning, ''I don't feel the sense of hunger in the game, but in real life, I do... Is that another flaw in Bronze VR Helmet?''

''It's like the Game Developers did so many flaws as possible that players who use this helmet becomes too annoyed and buy more expensive ones...'' Isaac wryly smiled and walked towards the door, ''And most of them would probably buy after experiencing White Online... Even I feel like buying a new one.''

He left the room and went straight towards the downstairs.

He took a glance at the living room and saw his parents, Alice and Mark, watching the news on TV.

They turned their heads as Isaac arrived, but he went straight towards the kitchen.

''There is some leftover food in the refrigerator!'' Isabella's voice rang in his ears.

Isaac gave thumbs up and entered the kitchen. He opened the refrigerator and saw a plate waiting for him.

He grabbed it and put it straight on the microwave, and put the timer on for 2 minutes.

He listened to the calm sound of the microwave, but then the door to the kitchen was opened.

Isaac turned his head and saw his father entering.

''Isaac.'' Maxwell sat in the chair, which was next to the kitchen desk.

''What is it, dad?'' Isaac raised an eyebrow as he saw Maxwell's serious look.

''Have you decided if you are going to keep playing?'' He asked.

Isaac rubbed his cheek, ''I like the game a lot...''

Maxwell's eyes sparkled, and he was about to say something.

But then Isaac continued, ''I still haven't made my decision if I will continue; I thought maybe I should join your company as an intern, you wanted that, right?''

Maxwell smiled and tapped the desk with his index finger, ''I wanted that... But, I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do. If you want to keep playing, I will support you.''

Isaac nodded and crossed his arms, ''I will have to think more.''

Maxwell stood up and patted his shoulder, ''If you decide to continue, I have a small present for you.''

''Present?'' Isaac looked surprised; why would he get a present for continuing playing?

Maxwell mysteriously smiled and left the kitchen, leaving confused Isaac alone.

*Beep*

The microwave beeped as the signal that his food was ready.
