Chapter 211 - Handsome Qian

"Huh," As Patrizio Moretti watched Zoey's retreating back, the corner of his lips curled into a gentle smile.

'You really never changed, Z.' He whispered internally as in his eyes, Zoey was still the same old Zoey he once knew despite all the changes she had gone through the years.

Just then, Patrizio Moretti's eyes lit up as he was suddenly hit by an overflowing inspiration for his next collection. Without further ado, he hastily picked up his phone and began taking notes.

[ROSE : FLOWER COLLECTIONS]

Patrizio Moretti typed those words in bold with a smile. Watching Zoey, he somewhat wanted to make a collection based on flowers.

After all, Zoey and her love was akin to a red rose. It might be beautiful now, but her thorns might prick and hurt the latter who took interest in her.

A pretty rose with beautiful flaws. To keep it, one must embrace her pains too. How dramatic, isn't it?

Thinking about it, Patrizio Moretti shook his head as he chuckled. However, his gleeful cloud instantly vanished upon realizing that he forgot to tell Zoey something important.

"Oh my god...!" He gasped, rushing out of the vip room but Zoey had already left the premises.

"Gosh... why did I forget to tell her?" In distress, Patrizio Moretti sighed heavily before he was called back by Manager Tan to see the bride-to-be Cora Ma.

Upon laying his eyes on her, Patrizio Moretti was in awe momentarily. It was a rare occasion that his designs, especially his masterpiece would suit just anyone. Alas, Cora Ma, her demeanor, her delicate features, almost made him think it was meant for her to wear in the first place.

If not for the extra space on the bust area, the dress would be perfect for Cora Ma! "Oh dear! You look stunning!" Patrizio Moretti expressed in awe, slowly walking towards the shy Cora Ma who was also overwhelmed wearing such a beautiful piece.

"No wonder she picked this dress for you! I'm not disappointed at all!" He added, clasping his hands together excitedly.

Although Patrizio Moretti agreed to Zoey's requests earlier, he didn't expect too much of the outcome. He only agreed because it was designed for Zoey and she rarely took interest in wearing all these grand dresses of his.

The main reason why he didn't want to sell this particular piece.

Patrizio Moretti thought that aside from Zoey, no one would suit the dress. Hence, he decided to put it on display instead of seeing his work lose its elegance by someone who wouldn't maximize its own potential.

"Hehe. Thank you..." Flattered by the genuine reaction from the gown's creator, Cora Ma tucked her hair behind her ear.

Looking around, Cora Ma asked softly. "Where's Zoey?"

"She left." Chuckling as he expected this question that soon, Patrizio Moretti stretched his lips from ear to ear. "Don't worry, princess. Z is off to secure her own wedding! Meanwhile, she left you in my care so you don't have to worry because I, Patrizio Moretti will help you!" He grinned, moving his brows in an up and down motion giving her a knowing look.

"Ahh... haha..." Awkward as she may sound, Cora Ma had the urge to cry in disbelief because Zoey just left just like that!

To make things worse, she barely knew this godly fashion designer! Just what the hell would they do the whole day?!

Meanwhile...

"Damn Patty..." Zoey grumbled, cursing Patrizio Moretti for giving her advice which she knew was wrong.

"What should I tell him now? Hey, Browny, are you gay or what? Tell me so I'd know if I should start crying." Talking to herself, Zoey remarked sarcastically, preparing which words to say once she confronted Matthew Xi.

"Tsk! As if that would work!" Alas, just thinking about it, Zoey could not help but scoff in ridicule as the situation wouldn't be that light and easy.

"Damn it..." Zoey stopped in her tracks, ruffling her hair in distress as she had never been this stressed over this petty reason. "I shouldn't have come up with this deal and dated an embalmer instead and went into a full gothic mode together." Remembering how she seduced Matthew Xi first, Zoey would have never thought that seducing a man like Matthew Xi would lead her into such a problematic situation.

"Whatever, Z!" Slapping herself, Zoey shook her head as she needed to go through this once and for all. If she didn't end this today, Zoey knew she wouldn't have the same resolve in the future.

Moreover, although their last date was nearing, Zoey couldn't wait any further. After all, she must know if she needed to start her moving on phase; instead of getting anxious everyday by this uncertainty.

With that determination in mind, Zoey inhaled and exhaled deeply before she resumed walking towards the parking space. However, just as Zoey neared the exit, red alarms rang inside her head.

It was her radar for hunks! Good looking men, good targets, love interest, and so on. Thus, Zoey immediately looked around, her eyes detecting which godly guy was around that was enough to reach her keen radar.

Not far away from her, Zoey spotted Paul Qian walking with his phone in front of his ear. Upon laying her eyes on him, Zoey's eyes twinkled.

"Yes, Master. She was with her friend..."

"Mr. Handsome Qian~!" From his side, Paul Qian felt his spine shudder upon hearing Zoey's familiar voice. He turned to Zoey's direction and watched her skip her way towards him as if they were close friends.

"Paul Qian..." From the other end of the line, Matthew Xi mumbled his name which caused Paul Qian to break out in sweat.

"Handsome Qian~! What a coincidence! I knew it was you because my radar for handsome men notified me! Hehe!" As Zoey stopped several steps away from him, she grinned happily with her hands behind her back.

However, as soon as Zoey addressed Paul Qian as handsome, he felt the chills coming from his phone before the line ended.

"Mi— Miss Zhou," Although uncertain, Paul Qian felt that the sound of the cut call was akin to heaven's judgment.

"Handsome Qian, what are you doing here? I mean, are you busy?" Fluttering her lashes, Zoey beamed a sweet smile which rendered Paul Qian in a foreboding conflict.
