"Young Master Tang, what are you doing with my date? Aren't you afraid that other people would think you're fooling around despite having Miss Wei as your date?"
Richard smirked, taunting Ezekiel who was doing as he pleased. Although Richard had his own plans, he wasn't like Ezekiel who would fool around in public.
"Your date?" Ezekiel scoffed faintly as he shifted his gaze towards Zoey.
Zoey darted her eyes from one of her hands to another; both of her hands were being held by these hoodlums disguised as elite men. Just being in a situation which she had never expected, Zoey's mind needed a little time to breathe so she could take proper action.
It just escalated too fast when Richard tried to stop them. Well, Zoey thought she could let Ezekiel drag her away and she would ditch him once Richard was gone. This wasn't in the script though!
"My my… what's going on here? A love triangle?"
"Haha, how interesting! But that guy looks familiar…"
"Didn't Young Master Sun call him Young Master Tang? That rookie actress's boyfriend?"
"Huh? Then why is he trying to snatch someone else's woman?"
"Pfft -- watch your words. He's still from a good family."
One after another, the nearby audience turned their attention away from the stage to the real life drama that was taking place. Some showed their interest on how this would turn out. Others could not help but put their focus on Zoey as they studied her appearance.
In their eyes, Zoey didn't look so bad. She seemed to be a decent person, but she wasn't that much of a beauty that could topple heaven and earth.
"Wait, wait, wait -- hold on," Upon realizing the situation she was in, Zoey shook her hands and shrugged the two off. "Gentlemen, calm down. I think you've mistaken me for someone else."
Zoey raised her voice a little to mislead everyone who were watching them. 'Damn Ezekiel! No, no, these two should just disappear from this world!'
"So, if you excuse me." Zoey grinned awkwardly and took a cautious step back before she took off like a bolt of lightning.
She didn't want unnecessary drama with those two because Zoey had something more important to do; find Matthew!
"He always ditches me whenever I take him with me." Zoey mumbled as she began her search.

Meanwhile…
"Speak," Matthew commanded Paul on the other end of the call. He looked around the beautiful garden of the establishment, seeing a few guests walking and talking privately.
"We found out the content of the container that Miss Zhou is waiting for that would arrive at Cecil's port." Paul cleared his throat as his tone grew solemn.
Matthew remained silent as he swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Paul's brief pause was giving him a level of suspense Matthew rarely felt.
He had his guesses, but he didn't want to conclude yet. After all, there was a lot of possibility that the content of the container would be different.
"Weapons." Paul uttered.
Paul felt the gradual change in the air from the other end of the line. He could tell that the information they discovered just now didn't please Matthew.
"There is a whole load of smuggled weapons that will land in the country. I don't know Miss Zhou's plan about them considering she doesn't have an army under her." Paul said as he had been thinking about it ever since he came to know the information.
"Steal it." After a while, Matthew finally spoke with a tone of resolve.
Paul drew the phone away for a second as he looked at it with widened eyes. He couldn't believe his ears before placing the phone back on his ear.
"Young Master, are you sure? It's Miss Zhou's property and if she knew about it, she might think you're sabotaging her plans." Paul reminded him out of worry.
Not that Paul was worried about Zoey and Matthew's relationship. But rather, having Zoey misunderstand Matthew and could cause them as being her enemy.
"I am sabotaging her plans, Paul. She can't have those smuggled guns because I know those will land on the wrong person." Matthew didn't hesitate to admit. "Get the job done. Don't let Ivan and Angelo know about it -- treat it as a secret mission."
"Uh, yes, young master."
With that being said, Matthew hung up as a heavy sigh slipped past his lips. "What is she thinking?"
Matthew whispered as he massaged his temples. He already considered that the content of the container would be smuggled weapons.
To be fair, Matthew would be more relieved if it was something else. But having such a large amount of weapons, Matthew discerned that Zoey planned to hand it to the Silva Family.
If she didn't plan on coming back to the Silva Family and only wanted to make an alliance with them, Zoey would surely use this as a leverage. However, knowing Niko, Matthew wouldn't let him have his way.
Even if it means sabotaging Zoey's plans or being the main antagonist of her story, Matthew didn't care less. As long as Zoey wouldn't revert back to her life under the Silva Family.
"There's so much to do… Why did my memories return just now? Why now that her plans are slowly coming together?" Under his breath, Matthew muttered as he closed his eyes. "Even if she sticks to her promise, the train has already left the station."
Matthew added as he dragged his feet towards the bench and plopped down in distress. If the timeline was correct, Zoey already laid a lot of traps that only she knew about. Even without her command, it would surely take action whether or not she changed her mind.
Just as Matthew was sitting on the bench, he heard a familiar voice which caught his attention. Slowly, he turned his head towards the direction and narrowed his eyes at the figures not far away from him.
"Urgh! I can't find him again! Where did he run off to this time? I really remember I didn't sign up to be a babysitter!"
"Calm down, Jon. If you can't find him, that means you can't until he shows up. Let's wait in the car. I'm sure he just crashed the party to surprise Zia."
Matthew scrutinized the two men walking away. Upon hearing them saying Zoey's alias, his eyes widened as his jaw tightened.
"He's here?"
