When they both nodded, Matthew checked the email which made their eyes light up.
"Hah!" Inigo smirked. "Milo! Wake up!" Without a second hesitation, Inigo yelled and repeatedly slammed the surface of the desk until Milo suddenly got up in panic.
"What?! There's fire?!" Milo looked around in panic. When he turned around, he saw Matthew and Inigo and blinked his eyes countless times.
"This," Inigo pointed at Matthew's laptop. "We found something. Start digging man. Else, I'll start breaking your fingers for every minute you waste."
"Oh!" Milo snapped, clearing his throat as his mind was still buffering.
"Chop chop!" Inigo clapped his hand and Milo's mind grew clear.
"Yes, boss!" Milo nodded as he turned to his computer. After he took a breath, Milo brushed the keys and started typing nonstop.
Soon, Matthew's emails were on the large screen and Milo skimmed through the email. Upon reading its content, Milo's eyes lit up as other monitors displayed different locations and people's images.
Meanwhile, Matthew read the content carefully. It wasn't a long email, but rather, it was an invitation about an auction. Yet, there's no information about it. Just an invitation and location.
"Found it!" Within a brief time of twenty minutes, Milo found the photo of the location and the cctv's for the past month around it.
"There's no finding that an auction happened in this place. However, I found similar activities across the globe, recently in Europe. Auctions only happened once in every location, though."
Milo added, showing different locations of the abnormalities in movements every time it happened. Some were held in yachts, some in mansions, some were facaded in seminars, and so on.
If he dug deeper, Milo was certain that this had been going for way more years than he had managed to dig in. But he only had limited time. Hence, he could only retrieve information from five months ago, albeit vague information about it.
Yet, he managed to get more information from the previous auction. As Milo talked and briefed the two, Inigo and Matthew stared at the screen and listened carefully.
"So those containers I stole and Zoey stole from me… is it possible they were auctioned here?" Inigo muttered as it had been a mystery how Nikolai could hide that trade.
If not for the leaked information in their previous life years later, they wouldn't know about that container trafficking humans. But now with this piece of information, it just made sense.
"That damn genius little brother of mine." Inigo smirked as his eyes glinted.
"We are invited. But there's no time or date given." Matthew murmured, narrowing his eyes.
Even though Milo found the location hidden under a yacht's name, how would they get the time and date?
Again, the three of them remained silent. Milo tried to check the previous time and date of each auction held in the past. To his dismay, it was not only the location that were changed; time and date as well.
There wasn't a consistent date and time. "That's weird. They held it on different days in the calendar and time. Some start in the evening, some morning, some afternoon." Milo muttered.
Silence once again enveloped in the room. Just when they thought they had a breakthrough, they hit another wall once again.
"Maybe Ivan knows about it?" Milo turned around, but Inigo shook his head.
"This is the best he could do to help with information. Nikolai loves keeping things like a puzzle and that makes the Silva Family unpredictable and hard to seize."
"Puzzle…" Matthew repeated in a murmur. "Can you list down the time and dates from a year ago?"
"That's impossible. I can only retrieve information from the past five months. It'll take more time or days to find the rest of the year." Milo shook his head as he stared at Matthew who was staring at the large screen.
"Then list down the time and dates from the last five months."
"Alright." When Milo nodded, he started listing down the dates and time based on the luxurious cars headed in the same direction. Although the date was easy, figuring out the time was the problem.
After a good ten minutes, Milo showed the list on the other screen. "The time is not hundred percent accurate because we can't really tell since there's no CCTV in the event. But, I tried to calculate the time based on the arrival of the guests."
Inigo and Matthew squinted their eyes as they looked at the list. However, no matter how they analyzed the time to get a bit of hint, yet nothing.
It didn't add up nor did it leave a hint of the next auction's time.
"That bastard." Inigo clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Even if he is my brother, I don't get how his mind works."
"Yes. It's tricky. How can you even invite people to a party just by giving the location?" Milo sighed, shaking his head, frustrated at hitting another wall right after their breakthrough.
"How do those people even know? Did they get the time and date for the next auction beforehand and were only waiting for the information of the location?"
Milo added in a mumble. If he considered that, then, that's another problem. Again, silence ensued as Matthew kept his eyes on the location map.
"The voucher…" After Matthew's long silence, he whispered. Inigo was quick to turn his head to him.
"The voucher?" Inigo repeated as he hurriedly took the laptop and checked the voucher. However, he frowned upon seeing that the code seemed like a normal voucher; a mix of numbers and letters.
"MD. EN. S." Matthew muttered, recalling the random letters in the voucher.
"MDENS?" Inigo repeated with furrowed brows. Meanwhile, Milo also paused as he parsed the letters in the voucher.
After a long time, Inigo and Milo's eyes went wide. But before they could speak, Matthew spoke.
"The coordinates. Check the locations' coordinates."
"Yes!" As if they already figured it out, Milo immediately checked the locations coordinate,
As soon as he enlarged the coordinates, Milo gasped as he turned around to the two men behind him.
"Boss, your brother is a genius. I want him to be my boss." Milo said in awe as the coordinates somehow showed numbers arranged akin to time and date.
"Go to him so I'll kill you alongside him." Inigo murmured as a smirk resurfaced on his lips. His eyes glued on the coordinates.
"Milo, check the coordinates of the locations from five months ago and see if the time and date matches." Matthew ordered under his breath as the time and date were for three days from now.
