"Sis, I brought you some dress just in case…" Dion trailed off as his jaw fell open, completely taken aback at Devon's appearance.
For a moment, Dion's mind went into a blank state, as he didn't expect to see her ready and well-prepared. It was entirely different when she wore that maid costume.
"Is there something wrong?" Devon tilted her head to the side, walking up to him, and waved in front of him. "Are you alright?"
"Gosh… is he really working in the entertainment agency? How can he not be immune to all the beauties? But, oh well, that only says I'm that breathtaking." Ghost Lin shook her head in disappointment as she stared at Dion's silly expression.
"Di —"
"Sis! Ahh!" Dion suddenly exclaimed so loud it startled her back. He covered his eyes as he turned his head away.
"Please, sis! Do you hate me that much?! You should've told me you will doll up today!" he grumbled dramatically, weeping internally as he realized how dangerous Devon was.
"Second young master, is there something wrong? Are you alright?" Agnes inquired as she rushed in here after hearing Dion's painful hollering.
Devon sighed as she turned her eyes towards Agnes. "He is fine, just over-reacting."
"Oh…" Agnes nodded before she darted her eyes from Dion to Devon. It had been a while since the incident and after that, Dion had been visiting every single day. If not for their clear relationship, she'd be worried.
"Look what you've done to Madame Agnes. You startled her." Devon frowned before shaking her head lightly, arms-crossed.
"Sis, it's not my fault alright?"
Devon rolled her eyes. What would she do if Dion was like this every single time?
"Let's take a photo and send it to your brother," Devon suggested, as she already guessed Dion's cause of distress.
His eyes immediately brightened up, as that thought didn't cross his head due to shock. Dion immediately turned his head to her, giving her a thumbs up.
"Let's do that, then." Dion fumbled with his hands and took out his phone. Before snapping pictures, he put down the paper bag full of dresses for her.
"Alright…" Dion licked his lips and bit it as he positioned his phone, while Devon just stood there with an eye full of disdain.
A sigh slipped past his lips as he dropped his hand. "Sis, can you do a pose? You look awkward also, your eyes look like you're staring at someone inferior!"
"You demand too much."
"Sis, come on~! We just need to uplift my brother's mood! Who knows? He might be having a terrible day!" He urged as he only wanted the best of the best and fill Lewis' phone with Devon's pictures.
Devon pursed her lips and exhaled. "Fine. How do I do it?"
"Err…" This time, Dion had to take a step back and ponder.
"Goodness. I'll help!" Ghost Lin also sighed, as she couldn't stand this anymore. "Come here and sit on the couch!"
Devon gazed at Ghost Lin and nodded. She followed Ghost Lin's instructions and perched on the end of the couch.
"Do something like this." Ghost Lin showed her an example, which Devon copied.
With her legs resting over the other, back straight, and knuckles propping her jaw, Devon glanced at the surprised Dion.
"Do it quick," she said, cocking her head lightly.
"Oh, right, wait." Dion hurriedly scanned his eyes to which angle was best. He settled to the one-seater couch near her.
"Wow…" He awed as he clicked a lot before the energy of being a photographer manifested in him and he switched positions for other angles.
"Are you not done yet?" Devon frowned, as he was like a monkey jumping here and there, holding his phone up.
"Sis! You look the best!"
"Well, thank you."
Dion grinned happily as he perched beside her. "Do you want to see? I think I have a knack for photography as well."
Devon only cast him a look that immediately crushed his confidence.
"Sis, do you really have to look at me like that?" he asked dejectedly.
"I'm not looking at you because I disagree with you. I'm looking at you because I think you are a bit of everything, so I won't be surprised."
His eyes twinkled like a child being praised. "Really?"
"Are you saying he is a jack of all trades?" Ghost Lin commented and shook her head when Devon pursed her lips. "And he seems so happy about it."
"Hehe~! Sis, why don't we take a selfie, eh?" Dion suggested since he thought that a selfie of them together would be alright.
"Just one." Devon agreed, and Dion immediately snapped a picture of them together. The photo was simply Dion doing a wacky while Devon was looking at him in dismay.
A harmless photo… or not.
"I'll send tons of pictures to my brother, wait!" Dion happily chose the best of the best pictures of Devon before typing a message to his brother.
[To: My generous big bro
Ge, I came to pick up my sister and look! Isn't she stunning? I took a lot of pictures! ]
He tapped the send button without a second hesitation with Devon's picture. As expected, Lewis immediately replied.
[From: My generous big bro
More. ]
Dion's face distorted as he read Lewis' reply again. More? He wanted more?? But he already sent him around ten pictures from different angles!
[ From: My generous big bro
Update me with her pictures. 1 every hour. ]
"Ughhh!!" Dion grumbled, making Devon jolt from surprise. "Every hour? Does he know we're going to a party??"
"What are you grumbling about?"
"My brother wants me to update him every hour. Sis, I think I'm coming as the chaperon."
"Do you plan on leaving me behind?" Devon cocked her head to the side, as she didn't find any problem with Dion sticking with her. After all, she didn't have any idea what kind of banquet this world usually held.
"That's not what I mean, but alright." Dion sighed heavily as he had no choice but to do so. "We haven't left yet, but I'm already tired."
"It's because you're pouring all your emotions out."
Dion leaned back lazily. "I never thought I will hate parties."
"But it's your friend's important event, isn't it?"
"That's why I'm coming even if I don't want to go."
Devon smiled as she gazed at Dion's reluctant expression. It was not that obvious, but Dion had his way to treasure the people he cared about.

After idling in Devon's place, Devon and Dion headed out. She didn't even bat an eye at the luxury car Dion was using today, which didn't surprise him.
"Before we go." Dion took his phone out and faced her squarely. Just as Devon looked at him, he snapped a photo and sent it to Lewis.
[To: My generous big bro
We're off bro~ ]
Dion was about to put his phone away when Lewis replied.
[From: My generous big bro
I'll be coming home late today. Send me the address and I'll pick her up. ]
"Oh…" Dion glanced at Devon, who was staring back at him before he sent the address of the party. He thought that was the best for the three of them, and Lewis wasn't the type to show himself to people. So, Dion was certain Lewis would just pick her up.
"Okay! Let's go!" Dion put down his phone and buckled up. Devon nodded before they sped away to the venue.

Meanwhile, on Lewis' side, he kept staring at Devon's pictures and could not hide the emotions in his eyes. She was the prettiest in his eyes, and it was a shame that Dion often got to see it first.
His grip around his phone tightened as his teeth clenched. He snapped his eyes and shifted them towards the door when Quentin came in.
"It's nice to see you again, Mister Qin." Quentin greeted with a kind smile on his face. "Your office looks really nice."
"Thank you, Mister De Luca, and I'm sorry for moving our meeting place to my office."
"Oh, please, it's my honor to be invited in here." Quentin chuckled while Lewis stood from his swivel chair and gestured the former to take a seat on the office couch.
"Thank you," Quentin expressed as he perched on the long sofa while Lewis was on the head seat.
"I came here and was surprised to see you smiling."
Lewis let out a soft chuckle. "Is it that surprising?"
"Well, it's very unlike the last time we met." Quentin grinned, intrigued at what or who could make this Lewis Qin smile so gently.
"My brother sent me a photo of my girlfriend and she looks so beautiful."
"Your brother? It seems your brother and girlfriend have a good relationship." Quentin's brows furrowed but hid his bafflement. "I didn't know you have a girlfriend in the first place. I feel bad for my sister."
"Yes, I have." Lewis' smile didn't reach his eyes. He noticed Quentin's remarks, but chose to ignore it.
"I see… she must be a remarkable beauty."
Lewis nodded and proudly agreed.. "Not just her beauty, but she is unparalleled."
