Chapter 32

The five of them soon arrived at Maas’ territory along the river. It was different from before.

When they got closer, they could see many wooden signs with black skulls.

Seeing these signs, Black Keith frowned. He had never thought that this man would have predicted their arrival.

Helplessly, Keith had to take the other four around this road.

After walking for about two hours, they found a problem. These usual roads were all filled with warning signs with black skulls.

But they did not realize that when they walked around this area, they had already triggered Maas’ alarm device.

In the camp, the rope in Maas’ hand moved, and he immediately woke up alert.

He then pushed Shirley, who was beside him, awake.

“There are uninvited guests!”

Hearing this, Shirley immediately sat up, and the two of them put on their battle suits that were placed on the wooden shelf.

After they were fully armed, they walked towards the direction of the alarm that had been triggered.

Black Keith was really sitting on the stone by the side of the road in a daze. He did not expect Maas to suddenly appear not far from him.

The four people behind him saw the two of them and picked up the weapons behind them, ready to fight.

Keith immediately waved at them and shouted, “Put down your weapons. He won’t attack us at casually!”

Maas let Shirley stay far away to be on guard while he came over alone.

“Long time no see. Did you come all the way here to find me or to kill me?”

Keith saw Maas walking over unprepared and immediately said, “I just wanted to confirm something with you.”

Then he told Maas what Veronica had said.

Maas immediately shook his head and said, “I did kill them. At that time, we didn’t go to kill them, but later they did something that made me have to kill them!”

“I thought that woman was dead. I didn’t expect her luck to be so good.”

Keane had a general understanding of the situation. He let down his guard and continued to ask, “Can you tell me what they did to anger you?”

Maas immediately explained, “Actually, I didn’t target your men, but that woman.”

“She encouraged those two people you sent to find trouble with my female partner!”

The four people saw Keith leave.

Keith, who was observing from the dark, found that all the men in the camp had been changed by this woman named Veronica.

Everyone had an indescribable feeling towards her when they saw her.

In order to figure out what had happened, Keith squatted not far from the camp and continued to observe.

Not long after, two men were brought to a small forest not far away by Veronica. Soon, the forest began to ‘moan’.

After Keith pushed aside the grass and saw the scene of their fierce battle, he quickly left the place.

After finding the reason, Keith immediately found a quieter spot and covered himself with mud, making it seem as if he had experienced a great battle.

Then, he limped back to the camp.

Seeing Keith return injured, the people in the camp immediately surrounded him and supported him into the leader’s room.

Alvin saw the embarrassed Keith.

His eyes were full of disdain and he asked seriously, “How did you end up like this?”

“Where are the other four?”

Keith did not answer Alvin directly. He just sat on the chair and moaned in pain.

Alvin quickly lost his patience and kicked him to the ground.

The people who helped him in immediately helped him out.

As soon as he walked out, he could vaguely hear Alvin cursing, “You’re such a garbage! I shouldn’t have trusted you.”

With their help, Keith returned to his room.

The people who helped him exchanged a few pleasantries with him and immediately escaped from the room.

In the middle of the night when everyone had fallen asleep, Keith sat up and sorted out all the tools in the room.

He was ready to escape when the people in the camp were mentally at their weakest.

Suddenly, the door was pushed open. Keith immediately hid the things under the bed and turned over to lie on it.

Before Veronica entered the room, she looked around and after confirming that there was no one, she entered the room.

Keith, who was lying on the bed, soon smelled a fragrance.

Not long after, a woman’s voice reached his ears, “Captain Keith, Captain Keith!”

Hearing the call, Keith pretended to be deep in sleep and slowly opened his eyes.

After looking at her, he said in surprise, “What are you doing here?”

Veronica immediately showed her true colors as a woman and began to take off her clothes which she did not have much of on her body.

Seeing this, he immediately sat up and stopped her, “What are you doing?”

Before Keith could react, Veronica shouted for help, “Help! It’s a rape! Keith wants to rape me!”

“Fuck!” Keith turned over, took the things he had prepared and ran out of the window.

When the people who rushed into the room saw Keith escape, they immediately raised the bow in their hands and shot an arrow. They shouted, “I didn’t believe it at first. I didn’t expect you to be such a person!”

“Everyone, follow me!”

“Don’t let him escape!”

In the darkness of the night, Keith immediately ran to the designated location and found the four people who were waiting for him.

Looking at the people chasing him with torches, the four people immediately asked Keith, “What happened?”

“Run! I fell into the trap of that demoness. Let’s run first!”

The four people did not hesitate at all and immediately followed Keith all the way north for their lives.

Everyone in the camp, including leader Alvin, chased after them.

Seeing that the camp was empty, Veronica immediately put on her clothes, picked up a small bag, and left in the opposite direction.

“This group of trash is so gullible. Just a little bit of sweetness and they became like this!”

“Fortunately, I had a good time today. It’s not too bad.”

After saying that, she resolutely walked towards the south.
