Yanarym can never believe how great her acting skills are! It's like commanding her brain to cry and water from her eyes will gush out immediately! She doesn't even need a mirror to see what kind of face she's making, as long as she's looking pitiful it's fine!
"What's your name?" He asked once again but she just shook her head then pushed herself away from him acting scared and unable to answer. With her behavior, Achis put down his guard, she wasn't a quarter perilous as a boar. But very similar to an injured rabbit that couldn't even fight a turtle.
"N-no..." Continuing shaking her head, she said with a trembling low sweet voice. "... I-I c-can't go back anymore. I-I was, I was-- No." She whispered to herself but Achis heard it loud and clear.
He knows what she means, obviously looking at her cluttered visage, her innocence was taken away from her. In his conclusion, the person who did this to her took for granted the occasion last night and made her drunk or lose her consciousness. Because of this, she can no longer marry anyone as the legal wife of the house. She will be the talk of the banwas' regarding her situation, and the husband she might marry may abuse her.
"No one will know." Achis weighs the advantages and disadvantages of the whole situation. He held out his palm to hold her shoulder. Instead of giving comfort, he just made her crawl away.
"Alright, I won't touch, I don't want to hurt you but listen..." He muttered seriously while staring straight into her almond misty eyes. "No one will know, I promise. Let me help you." She sniffed and opened her thin rosy lips but made no sound.
He remained to gaze at her, admiring her gorgeous face. No wonder she was taken captive. Her beauty was the reason for her ill-fated destiny. If she was only half pretty, maybe that person would think twice before taking her virginity.
Though she had a good fate meeting him because if it was not for him, she would suffer from being rape for the second time looking like this. An edible prey in the middle of the forest where no one was around to save her.
"I'll send you home, and this what happened to you will just remain between the two of us," Achis said reassuringly, Yanarym arched her brows.
"N-no." Wiping her damp cheeks from crying she looked at him firmly. "He lives t-there! At my house! He is there! He's a strong man! How are you going to help me without killing, imprisoning him?! Once you do that, everyone will know what he did to me!" A sweet melody echoed in Achis' ear yet the content was not good. It was a desperate tone of explaining like reaching out to be understood.
He shut up, realizing how dire the lady's situation was. He was thinking that if she sends her home and helps her regarding the situation he must use the situation to gain power over this lady's house. A high-ranking status could back him up throughout his plan for the future.
"Tell me his name, I'll do something about it---"
"No! W-why can't you understand? I don't need your help, just let me go. I-I will fix this myself." Cutting Achis off she held the tree beside her and thrust her body up to stand.
"...you will die." With that statement, her step completely changed. "I may not do something to you, but the one who hurt you is not the only monster in this forest. If you don't come with me, you will die."
"Coming with you means dead-end for me too. I-it's better to die here than humiliating myself." She voiced out, facing her back onto Achis upon bowing her head.
The tiny melodic tone can be heard at their distance. Making Achis assume that she is in her dilemma whether choosing a life of luxury back home although humiliated at the same time or living being unsure of danger outside.
In reality, Yanarym was calculating Achis' character by assuming his reaction. He's a righteous leader yet an ambitious person, based on the plot development he will conspire with the female lead as the second male lead. Willing to give up his love for Tala, the fL, in exchange for owning some more of banwas' and gaining more power and higher status. In addition, he was the killer of the original, how could she trust him just because he's being amenable? He might kill her too, and she just escaped death from his hands. However, if he could meet her requirements, she might as well use him to her advantage.
Excluding the fact that his ambitious personality was still hidden deep within him, maybe she could use his skills to teach her some sword techniques. She needed to fulfill the original body's wishes fast so she could leave faster.
"I'll help you. Tell me what you want to do." Affirming his answer she turned around to face him and asked, "How can I trust you?" Looking determined she stared back straight into his eyes.
"You had no choice." Saying this, Yanarym turned quiet. She had a choice but she chose the easy way rather than the hard one.
Why would men, even in the historic era, always feel so superior towards the opposite gender? Was it the fact that they were a lot more masculine or stronger in terms of strength than women? This kind of line where he says she had no choice, tsk. If she was not in the-character she would love to rebut this man's belief. However, the priority was to leave here as fast as she could.
"... help me look for a place to stay, where others cannot see me, I'll tell you two more conditions once I settle then I'll tell you my identity."
"Alright. Fine.." With no further ado, he bobbed his head to comply.
