Yanarym did not look back and proceeded to walk inside. Her life in this third world felt like a reincarnation. Though the very same thing happened to her, on her recent worlds that she had been to. She transmigrated into someone else's lives. This was quite different because first, this is her longest time staying in a different world. Second, she's been living as Yanarym --- herself. Not acting like a pitiful actress nor a strong-willed ancient princess. Just being herself. It's fun.
Becoming a college student for a second time was not that hard, she knows what she should focus on and not be hard on herself on being a student. She's living her life like how it used to be in her first life. Because Yashnile was like the sweet version of her obnoxious father. Strict with her studies but she could discern they had a different reason. A jealous-overprotective-siscon brother is different from an egotistical father.
Flashing back, it was Yashnile who suggested that she should just be homeschooled rather than going to high school. Of course, she preferred being homeschooled to being a student who attends school every single day. Also, she didn't have to study, she had Guide-sama to tell her the answers to the test examination. It's a good thing because she doesn't have to undergo the same thing she did in her first life, studying like hell.
"By the way! Did you hear?" Jana exclaimed while looking at her phone. Yanarym glanced at her, she made eight girlfriends in her freshman year. However, only three remained, and they are Rachelle, Jana, and Eizelle.
These three were the girls she could lean on and have fun with. One was boyish, then sassy and nerdy. She doesn't want to brag but she is the face of the group yet the geeky, who is addicted to fiction romance. They got along well, the other five she made friends with were fake and some just don't go along with them, so they got off on the plane of her friendship. It's life, it's college, if you don't get along, don't force yourself on it.
"What? About the replacement of the instructor on the shooting range?" Rachelle shrieked with excitement in her eyes. She is the nerd girl in the group, she studies so hard that sometimes her nose bleeds. But she's a fun person, they got along with each other, and she's crazy with boys, but scared to be with one. Typical. Yanarym had the same mentality when she was in college in her first life. She wanted a boyfriend but was scared to get one.
"Girls, girls calm down." Eizelle, the boyish one, Yanarym admired because she was one of the coolest characters she met. "It's just a male," Eizelle added and Yanarym shrugged.
Though Yanarym was being herself in this character of this world. She was no longer that interested in men, especially in college boys. She doesn't feel old like her soul age, and she also lost count of her age. Two years on the first world, two years on the second, and ---seventeen on this world and counting, she wasn't sure if the plot would go according to its timeline. But if it is, Movu would re-appear to her life on her 25th birthday means she's stayed here for twenty years…
"Eizelle, what is important is that he is handsome!" Rachelle screamed in excitement. Yanarym laughed at them and looked back to her phone. Yazeno messaged her about something in calculus and with the help of Guide-sama she replied the answer to his question.
"That's superficial love."
"What? No! It's not like I would be his girlfriend or something. I just want to see a handsome young policeman or detective, you know? Our batch is the worst, no beautiful man around! Plus the teacher, if Yanarym wasn't in our year, this school year could have the award of the ugliest batch like literally."
"It's not all about the face, you know," Yanarym replied without looking at them, busy typing the equation to her baby brother.
The three of them bored a poker face on her, "You realized you're pretty, right?" Eizelle raised her brows on her.
"I know I'm pretty, that's why I am telling you, it's not all about the face."
"How could you say that Miss Rym?" Rachelle rebutted. "You don't know what it's like to be ugly." Yanarym sent her goodbye message to Yazeno before putting her phone away. She looked at the three of them and smiled.
"What do you mean? Everyone has their ugly side."
"Said by the pretty girl inside and out. I could say that you are too perfect if we didn't know about your addiction." Jana uttered gazing at her. Her addiction, she said. Jana was probably about her own seven shelves of fiction books in her room that she had read all.
"Yeah, you're the unreachable campus crush." Rachelle seconded and she sighed. These three are not bad themselves, they looked pretty decent. However, she admits that her face was more ethereal compared to them. She couldn't do anything regarding that, it's in her genes.
"That's their illusion of me, and the one they like was their fantasy with my face, which is not the real me." Letting out her rhetoric, the three just rolled their eyes.
"Whatever you say sunshine," Eizelle replied with a bored tone and Yanarym snickered at them.
"Stop cornering me, I'm just stating the facts."
"The fact is that face is everything in this age and era!"
"Wrong, if that's everything, why don't I like those who are handsome as well?"
"Because your standards were set too high! And you always had choices within the boys. You can have anyone you want."
"You have your own choices too."
"Choices of what? Potatoes? We don't have a choice, Rym. If someone approached us --- we are lucky enough to get noticed." Rachelle pouted. Yanarym smiled knowingly.
"Lucky? Rach, they are the lucky ones."
