Guide-sama: "Wasn't it already commencing?"
Yanarym paused hearing that. Sure it was beginning to display, maybe they weren't aware of it but Yanarym could discern the difference between the affection of a sibling and a man. She would know, she's been served by men in love.
"Should I think about it later? No, let us finish this Saturday first. Nile must date her and if it works out, he will somehow lessen his time for me, at least that would do."
Guide-sama: "Will that blind date really help you?"
"Honestly, I'm not sure, it's not like I am a god that could predict everything. It's trial and error for us."
"Found you." A baritone voice said and big hands that were above Yanarym's shoulder impeded her conversation to Guide-sama. She turned at her back and looked up to the man who showed up out of nowhere. A bright handsome smile was shown to her, this time she could clearly see his dazzling eyes that were so alive and enthusiastic.
"Sir Lawrence?" Lawrence bit the flesh in his mouth. Ever since the first day of meeting her, he cannot take his mind off of her. Her personality, her life, and her face and her body keep him all captivated. He would be lying if he denied that she was the most interesting person who caught his attention.
"It's Law for you Rym." He sat on the chair beside her, removing his hand from her shoulder. He examined her fashion sense from head to toe and he chuckled to himself. He was surprised himself that he was so drawn to her but she dressed up as a total commoner.
Although, commoners can't be wearing a t-shirt that cost five thousand pesos and simple blue faded jeans for ten-thousand, and the shoes were limited edition. He believed that it would cost her more than fifty thousand, the only ornament that was on her body was the original watch that had a million value.
What's more surprising, she had a different shirt, watch, pants, and shoes every day but all had the same style. It's proof that she came from a well-off family.
Lawrence had no intention of making her his bank, he, himself had money in his pocket. But it was charming to see a woman who doesn't exaggerate but knows how to show off her riches. He looked straight to her eyes that were icy blue and sparkling, he felt breathless gaping at her goddess beauty. With the vibrant personality that could burn and stoke him within seconds. Damn, he's so turned on to this woman.
He was never interested in younger girls before, but the ways she talked, walked, smiled, laughed, and snubbed him. It's giving him goosebumps. He wants her so badly, what's it like to tame her? That would be…
Yanarym raised a brow at the male lead's daydreaming face that was gazing at her. "Don't you have class today sir?"
"I do, you're supposed to be in that class right? Why did you cut class?"
"Ah," Yanarym smiled, she forgot that she cut class. "Personal matter, I'm just waiting for someone. Sorry if I didn't excuse myself, sir." Lawrence loosened his smile and had a genuine expression.
"It's not about me, right?" He lowered his voice but made sure she could hear him. She raised both of her brows like she was not getting what he was talking about. He bowed his head to be more sincere. "About that day when I tried hitting on you, I want to say sorry."
"Ahh, that day? There's nothing to apologize about, sir. I'm used to it." She said casually and tidied her things on the table. "Also, I'm not really a playgirl, but my friends told me I'm a heartbreaker and I used it to drive boys away from me. Oftentimes it would work, but it doesn't seem to affect you, sir."
Lawrence watched her and formed a small smile on his face. It's the truth, she was no playgirl, based on his investigation, she never had a boyfriend. Her older brother was guarding her, sending her every day to school and fetching him on his own. He also heard that she has an adopted sister that looked nothing like her but was also one of the prettiest girls in the entire university. About being the heartbreaker, he could understand, a beautiful woman could break a thousand hearts with her face but she was also given the body of a killer, isn't that almost a curse?
"Stop being too formal," Lawrence said in a boyish manner.
"We're in the university, I'm the student and you're the instructor."
"Will you call me Law if outside?"
"Why not?" He laughed hearing her confident voice.
"Anyways, I still would like to apologize for my approach yesterday. I know came too strong and I heard you have a strict brother so you're not---"
"It's not about my brother, I just don't want to date anyone." Yanarym cut him off, Yashnile, half-true was the reason why she hasn't dated anybody in recent years. But the whole truth was, she could live by herself without a man in her life. She's been living like this from her first life, it's not hard, the fact is, it's a lot more complicated living life with a man.
The tranquility of living alone on your own will become a disaster. But that doesn't mean being alone was no fun, it's also fun, you had a lot of time for yourself. There was a saying that, 'no man is an island'. Meaning a person can't be alone for a long time, but actually, they could. No one needs a partner to validate themselves to be happy. And if you found someone, that could be a bonus of life.
Yet, this notion was often mistaken, finding someone in your life and forcing a person on it are two different scenarios.. If you found him or her that would be good, but forcing that person or yourself to that will only cause your devastation.
