Yazeno together with Movu goes to the bar after dinner. Yazeno invited him for a drink and he agreed, they head to a famous club where Yazeno usually goes whenever he needed to get himself drunk to forget his stupid feelings for his dear Yanarym.
Love was a very mystical aspect that was bestowed for them to feel or to experience. It was such an irony that it could lift you or bring you down.
He was once a boy who lives a life with extravaganza and confidence. He was envied by his peers and always led his friends with his notions. He believed that he was one of the luckiest people on earth. But as time went by, his beliefs and his esteem about himself gradually receded.
Yazeno ordered a bottle of some hard liquor to see what's the real color of Movu. Drunk people often reveal their inner demons.
Yazeno would know if Movu was authentic with his feelings for Yanarym or was just bluffing to have his way with her. Back then, Yazeno acknowledges that he idolized Movu while Yanarym tells him stories of this guy, but that admiration he had turned to envy. It caused him to fantasize about destroying Yanarym's image of perfect Movu. So, she won't be with him. So, she would hate him. And never thought of being with Movu again.
Yazeno understands that he was being childish and immature and all but he doesn't want another man taking Yanarym away from them ...from him… it's unfair. It feels unfair.
They had a couple of shots and the alcohol hasn't hit him yet. He never got drunk, he was the strongest person when it comes to handling his liquor, and it seems like Movu could be his competitor. They went for two, three, and four bottles. He knew that was his limit, his mind started to get foggy.
Movu was aware that this adorable little brother of Yanarym was up to something. He's not a fan of goofing around with anyone just to be their buddies. He's fine with his skin, but since Yazeno is her younger brother, anything that could be related to her, will be his exemption. That was what he thought.
"Why did you come back?" Yazeno asked drunkenly. He looked at Movu with an indignant glare. "You shouldn't have returned. Lawrence is already too much and now you're here?!" Though his body couldn't sit upright anymore, he seemed to be inviting a fight.
Movu, who was still sober because of his alcohol tolerance, could hear Yazeno loud and clear. He did not take the question badly and grinned in Yazeno's direction.
"I always wanted to come back for your sister as soon as possible but there are things that are just meant to be fixed first." Yazeno taunted and poured his glass some drink and bottoms it up.
He scowled at Movu as he slammed his glass on the counter and poured himself another shot. "Don't make me laugh, what is it that you have to do that it took you a decade to go back to her life?"
"I can't tell you." Yazeno furiously laughed, Movu didn't say a word to excuse himself or explain the situation to appease Yazeno's anger.
"Since you can leave her for ten years? Can't you do it for the rest of your life?" Yazeno muttered in a grim tone and quickly drank the shot.
His eyes were staggering drunk, so Movu let him talk. "How can you return her to us and take her away? She's not yours! She's my sister! You don't have rights!" He frantically yelled and slammed the glass on the table, it shattered to pieces but none of them moved to clean it up.
Yazeno glared at Movu and his anger, dissatisfaction, anguish, and misery rose to the surface. His jealousy, insecurities, the fact that he's also been there for her but has no right to love her as a man feels shit. His feet were stuck in the mud and he kept drowning, he couldn't lift them.
"I know she's your sister. But she made me a promise---"
"Are you fucking with me? That's a child's promise! She was a child! Those kinds of promises could never be fulfilled when you grow up! What's more, she has a boyfriend." Yazeno hiccuped and rubbed his eyes, "She has Lawrence, one man is enough --- you coming back, is too much!" Movu couldn't understand why Yazeno was acting like a possessive baby.
Movu was about to coax him but Yazeno abruptly stood up and grabbed Movu's collar.
"Listen to me," Yazeno uttered to him and tried his best to lock their eyes. "Yanarym is mine, not yours nor to Lawrence. She's mine, do you hear me?"
"What do you mean she's yours? At your age, you can't be acting like a brat." Yazeno laughed loudly and let Movu go, turned around, and sat on the couch. Pouring himself another glass.
"What do I mean? Of course, she belongs to our family. It's only reasonable that she shouldn't be taken away by outsiders."
By this time, Lawrence had a rough guess of what was going on with Yazeno. It may sound absurd but he was thinking that this little brother of Yanarym detested his presence. The reasons he could think of were because he could bring back Yanarym's past self? Or might it be because Yazeno was thinking that Movu would bring back Yanarym to the situation of the old days where she had to suffer? Or the most foolish reason was that… Yazeno was in love with her? He is not, is he?
Movu's eyebrows involuntarily furrowed as he clenched his jaw. A thief that stole his place as Yanarym's lover. And a wolf hiding in a sheepskin. "You're not seeing my woman who is supposedly your sister as a woman, are you?" Movu dangerously questioned Yazeno.
"What's wrong with that?! And why is she your woman?! I told you, she's mine!"
