"Maddi and I, we're getting married." Yashnile announced before Yanarym could even say anything. The four of them are sitting on the couch in the enormous living room.

Movu looked at Yanarym who turned stone after Yashnile's announcement. Movu was about to say that he and Yanarym would marry each other too.

"Movu, we can't marry," Yanarym abruptly muttered. Movu was stunned, bewildered by what she said. She said yes earlier and now she doesn't want to?

"Why?" He creased his brows and held her hand. Why is she changing her mind all of sudden? No, she always does this. Changing her mind every time... Even when she was a child. "You said, yes! We're going to get married! Why now, we can't?"

"Well, my brother's getting married." She said and pointed towards Yashnile. He doesn't get it, what's up with that? So, what?!

"Then, let's do a double wedding." He suggested that the three siblings shut up. Yazeno, who was silent the whole time peered at Yanarym.

"That's sukob."

"Sukob?" Movu raised his eyebrow at Yazeno, he didn't understand. Movu can't understand and he won't understand it.

"It's like a superstition. You can't marry in the same year as your sibling, it's like inviting bad luck." Yanarym explained to him which made Movu sneer. This won't do, a single superstition can't stop them, him!

"They can postpone it, why us?" He said annoyed.

Yashnile was about to say something but was interrupted by Yanarym.

They are all aware that they are each other's love rivals. Yet, here they are facing one another. Talking about marriage and commitment. How ironic.

"He's my older brother, Movu. Maddi and Kuya have been together for a year," Yanarym said, convincing him to delay her death schedule. That was funny, did she just think that her future wedding would be her funeral too?

"Are you serious?" Movu's forehead wrinkled. 'What about us, we've been apart for ten years!' He protested in his mind but could bring himself to utter a word.

"Yes," Yanarym nodded immediately, which made him frown even more. "We should not hurry, okay?" She said but Movu shook his head. "We can take out time."

"No, they should postpone it." He muttered and crossed his arms. "I will not adjust for them, Rym."

"Movu."

"If no one would postpone it, let's just have a double wedding."

"But the bad luck..."

"Bad luck is bad luck, but no one could hurt you with me on your side," Movu assured her and kissed the top of her head. "I will protect you."

"A double wedding?" Lawrence was dedicating himself to his job ever since Yanarym left him. He was working too hard not to think of her in any way, he wouldn't eat on time and work all the time.

He's been crazy about solving cases that his co-workers are all worried about. He's also been on a solo trip because his partners couldn't handle his drive and determination to catch criminals 24/7. Then, if he was forced to take a rest at home by his superiors to sleep, he would be drinking until he blackout.

Currently, it's been two months. He hadn't heard anything from Yanarym but at the present, everyone in his department was concerned for his welfare because a wedding invitation was sent to their superior and some of Yanarym's close friends namely Jana, Eizelle, and Rachelle.

The three accidentally told the others about it and now it has spread to the entire police station.

Lawrence walking and living dead for the past two months hadn't had the slightest care about the world around him. He's deaf to his surroundings unless it was related to the case he handled. The pitiful eyes and curious person who was around him were like walls.

But then, a lady in uniform walked onto his desk. He didn't stop typing his report so Melanie smiled, she saw him like this. Where did Lawrence she knew go to? Who was this pathetic man in front of her?

She wanted to pity him but the truth is, she was happy seeing him miserable, and she wanted to cause more damage to his broken heart.

Is she a bitch? She was not, but he made her this way. "I heard about Yanarym's double wedding," she asserted, which caused Lawrence to stop typing on his laptop.

He blinked his eyes and regained color as if his soul came back to his body. That was the keyword, her name. He looked up to Melanie, creasing his brows. Melanie wasn't scared of his glare, she was too happy with his misery to be affected by his anger. "It will be next week, didn't you break up with her just two months ago? Is she getting married already?"

Lawrence couldn't process a word she's blabbing.

"I want to ask because I'm curious, was it arranged marriage? Or she left you? Just like that?" She grinned at him but Lawrence kept on staring at her blankly. In his head, he couldn't process that Yanarym will be marrying that Movu in a short period of time.

Melanie felt awkward with his blank gaze, "Anyways, I came here to say, that's your karma." She mumbled and walked away. Lawrence returned his gaze to his laptop but didn't move a muscle.

Then, it struck him. Yanarym, that vile woman, she's getting married, he started laughing and made his surroundings lull.

Yanarym was taking a sip from her frappe. She was having a break.

Maddi and Movu were the ones managing the things that should be managed for the double wedding. Cailly had been home since last week hoping to give some assistance for the wedding, but it was strictly managed by Movu himself and he only allowed Maddi to help him.

Yashnile was busy managing the company along with their father who went home last night.. Yazeno, on the other hand, was secretly applying for a transfer abroad and he was intending to leave after the wedding.
