Lawrence on the third row was perplexed, staring at Yanarym. She was walking in the aisle at a slow pace. It feels so magical seeing her in that white dress. She's so gorgeous… but it was not him that was waiting for her at the end of the hall. He inhaled sharply as it was getting hard to breathe.
Possibilities and what-ifs ran through his head, questions, and scenarios that he imagined if she would be marrying him. He slowly directed his sight to Movu. That bastard.
The bastard was starting to cry while smiling, he must be the happiest person alive at this very moment. Lawrence bit his lips until he tasted the rustic flavor of his blood.
He held his gun tightly that was hiding in his tuxedo, he wanted to pull it out and just shoot Movu's head. If Movu dies, Yanarym would only have an option to be with him… right?
Yanarym reached Movu's hand, and the four of them faced the priest.
The priest proceeded on with the blessing and all, but none of the three men were in their consciousness or mood to hear what was blabbering about. After Maddi said, "I do." And Yashnile puts a ring on her finger, and the priest shifts his attention to the other couple.
"Do you, In the name of God, Clarence Zilanteir, take Yanarym Weterchern, to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until parted by death."
"I do." Movu put the ring to her finger and kissed the back of her palm.
"Do you, In the name of God, Yanarym Weterchern take Clarence Zilanteir, to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until parted by death."
"I do." Yanarym gives him his ring too. Movu smiled widely.
"I pronounce you, husband and wife, you can now kiss the bride." Movu lifted her veil and held her waist, without thinking he kissed her lips. The crowd cheers after Yashnile kisses Maddi too.
Then, a loud bang was heard. In a second the congratulations of the guests turned to screams of panic. Movu's people immediately escort everyone to their safe places, Movu hid Yanarym behind her back, Yazeno rushed in her direction and protected her from any shots she could take. Yashnile was holding Maddi's body that fell to the ground. Her white dazzling wedding dress started to get covered by her red blood.
Everything happened too fast, Lawrence came to his senses and the first thing he did was see if Yanarym was safe, when he confirmed she was alright, he skimmed to the entire vicinity and shot the bullet towards Maddi.
Maddi's parents were crying and screaming as they saw their daughter losing her life, they were supposed to call the police and an ambulance when another loud sound was heard. Another person was shot...
Then, men in suits from the backline showed off their guns, big guns, and knives. "Your cellphones won't work here. I already intercepted the line." An old man from the crowd took off his hat and laughed. Movu cursed angrily, it was his father, he thought this old hag died already.
"My, my, my dear son, are you surprised I'm still alive? You know what they say, evil grass doesn't die that easily." Movu narrowed his eyes, he thought that Don Falcon was no longer a breathing man and here he is ruining the most important day of his life-
Movu doesn't understand, he thought that he already ended his father's life. He thought that these things happened to him because his parents were already out of this world. Why can't he have a peaceful ending to his life? He just wants a life with his girl!
"M-movu," he heard Yanarym's voice. Movu quickly had a glimpse of her. "Maddi was shot. We need to call an ambulance!" She exclaimed and was about to run to Maddi's location but Movu held her hand tightly.
"Don't. Stay beside me, Rym." He whispered to her and shifted his attention to Don Falcon. "Why are you here, father?"
"It's your wedding day! My son's wedding! Of course, I should be here. Let's see, is that the woman who turned you like this? A fool in love?" He sneered as he had locked eyes with Yanarym.
Movu immediately hides her, Yazeno and Lawrence rush in his direction and shield Yanarym from Don Falcon. Yashnile who was coming to his senses saw that Yanarym was in danger, so he left Maddi's dead body to her mother and rushed to Yanarym's side.
Yanarym pressed her lips together. Why did Maddi have to die too though?
"Now, now, you have a lot of charming princes there, Hija..." Don Falcon said and signaled his man to take their father. Earlier during the ceremony, someone drugged his water. That's why the father has recently lost consciousness. "Give me the girl and your father won't die."
"PAPA!" Yanarym screamed.
"NO!" Both brothers held her, "Rym, stay back." Yashnile reminded her. "Father won't die."
"It's alright, he will not kill your father Rym." Movu smiled at her. He wanted to reassure her that everything's gonna be alright. It's been alright for the past few days. He was so happy for the past few months.
Then, is that happiness being taken from him now?
"I'm s-scared, everyone will get hurt, M-movu..."
He believed that he was already done with this kind of life- guns, deaths, threats, power, and tragedy. He promised to give her a wonderful life once he returned. He's here to fulfill that promise, he's here to make an amazing future with her!
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE RUINED BY THE MAN WHO'S MAKING HIM SUFFER FOR THE LONGEST TIME!
He didn't leave Yanarym for a decade to have this kind of ending, he didn't miss those ten years to cause this chaos for her. He's done with it, he did all he could do to be with her. So, why is his evil father here crumbling his dream?!
"Don Falcon," Lawrence intercepted, he knew who Don Falcon was. He's the most powerful criminal who has ever lived outside the jail. There was news that he's been dead for weeks because of the ambush operation in Nepal. And his heir had taken everything already... he couldn't believe that that heir was no other than Movu. "Surrender now or I have no other option but to shoot you in self-defense."
"M-movu..." Lawrence heard Yanarym's trembling voice. She's not that kind of girl, she's not scared of guns and bullets, she's not terrified of bad people. So, why in the hell is she trembling in this old geezer's presence? To look weak for her prince charming? Lawrence turned to her and saw her eyes only looking at Movu.
She's holding him firmly as if she's not letting him go and she was scared... She is really scared.
Lawrence blinked his eyes, she's not scared of guns and these thugs. He could see it, she's scared for him- she's cared only for that Movu. For that man who brought his criminal father who went crazy shooting people at her wedding. Is she terrified of the thought that Movu will be harmed?
"Little girl, I will protect you, I love you, alright?" Movu whispered to Yanarym and quickly kissed her forehead. He turned his head back to his father and gritted his teeth, "Leave now, Don Falcon, you are not invited here. Stop ruining my life!"
That action made Don Falcon's blood boil. He was not a good person, nor a good father, he was never a good lover. His son was bound to meet the faith as he did. He will not let him be happy, Movu's fate must be as miserable as his fate. If Movu's going to be happy, marry the woman of his life, have babies, and have a bright future... Don Falcon would just drag Movu in hell. His son will have his misery too.
Don Falcon didn't say words anymore and raised his arm. Pointing the gun towards Movu and pulling the trigger with no second of hesitation.
Yanarym saw Don Falcon's movement, she broke free from the brothers and pushed Movu's body out of the frame with all of her strength, with the perfect timing, she caught the bullet to her heart.
"YANARYM!" She heard screaming, she felt hot too, on her chest, warm… she touched that part and saw her hand with her blood.. She smiled, and coughed blood, her eyes locked with Movu's and she could see how stunned and terrified he was- She felt heartache, tears fell from her eyes… for a second she thought if she could stay a little longer for him --- Or maybe that was not her but the original's emotion.
