CHAPTER 030
She heard his deep breaths, felt his overwhelming aura, he was furious… so mad. She could feel it to her bones, Yanarym gulped and retained her cool. "Marcus, are you waiting for me?" Why is he in the dark? He looks scarier in this background! She aggrieved and walked into the house. She wanted to sprint to her room.
"Did you have dinner?" He asked casually—at least that was what he was trying to portray but it came out in an angry tone.
Yanarym flinched, "I already ate." She answered shortly and continued her steps. I will be heading to my room now, good—ah!" She shrieked in terror, the next second, she found herself pinned on the wall. Matteo was towering over her, intimidating her. "You're h-hurting me, why are you slamming me on the wall?"
His eyes darted daggers, he was glaring with so much resentment to her eyes.
Matteo looked at her. His eyes were filled with bitterness and covetousness. She was embraced by a filthy human, his mind was raging. He gritted his teeth, clenched his jaw, I can't do this. He deeply inhaled, I can't let her be. He leaned to her neck and the scent of the other man from her skin got stronger. He subconsciously wrapped his arm to her physique. She's mine, he exclaimed to his head and buried his face to her neck. You're mine.
"Marcus?" She gulped with a fretted expression. "What's wrong?"
"I just want to take your soul…" He whispered dangerously to her skin and her body hardened in fright. "I don't think I can deal with it anymore..."
"W-what?"
"You're making me so furious that I am going insane." He breathed her scent and brushed his lips at her bare shoulder. "I just want to kill you right now."
"W-what?" Yanarym's eyes widened.
This is what she was talking about! Kraig or Lyndon was her one, two, three easy as a, b, c! But Marcus is on another level! She can't be on par with God's son, she's human for Pete's sake! He's a God himself!
"Why do you have to do that?" He cupped her face and stared straight into her eyes. She gulped seeing how dark his expression was. "Why do you have to copulate with filthy men, Rym? ...you're better than that, humans don't deserve you."
"Y-you're scaring me, Marcus, please stop." She tried pushing him away but it only ignited his anger. "Marcus, stop!" He stared at her lips, and she was kissed by them too.
Sex, lovemaking, skinship, sexual intercourse, kissing, hugging, or seeking pleasure through the human body. Matteo's a deity, consummation to pass his legacy to his descendants is not what they do in heaven. They are immortals. Sex was only given to creatures for them to populate and pass on their heritage. He did not need sex, he never had sex. Yet, his mind kept on screaming the same thing over and over again, how does it feel to be one with the person I love? Does she like sex too much that she is having two men? He could be her sexual counterpart. Why do you have to pick mortals, Yanarym? All you have to do is ask me and I will gladly grant you what you wanted.
A slap on his face made Matteo dumbfounded. He looked at her and saw that she was biting her lips. "What is wrong with you?! Stop looking at me like that!" She yelled at him hoping that it would prevent him from doing anything. But with a snap of his hand, the atmosphere became different, as if they were in another dimension but the same place, no, they are really into another dimension! "Are you going to kill me?" He didn't answer and she bit her lips again. "Am I going to die?"
Yanarym wanted to turn back the time and slap her face instead. How could she dare to slap his face? She sighed, she wanted to grab her hair from her stupidity. I'm going to die… he's going to kill me! I cheated on him! Though it's not like he already confessed his feelings with the original—but shit! I cheated on him and slapped his goddamn handsome face! Once I am revived, I'll make sure to handle Marcus first than anyone else.
She closed her eyes and was ready to accept her death. Now that she thought of it, this was the first time she would die and re-do her choices.
Matteo was stunned seeing her reaction after asking if he would kill her then closing her eyes as if she was ready to die in his hands. He had seen her grow up and he knew how different she was from everyone. Nevertheless, he never expected she was this eccentric. He caressed her hair and looked at her lips, how could she accept death so easily?
Humans value life because they are afraid to die. Yanarym, the woman in front of him, was not terrified of death… because she didn't cherish her existence. Was that the reason why he was loving her too much? Because she didn't love herself? Matteo could feel his temper elevating. But the wretched smell of the man on her skin was ruining his mood. He wanted to scrub it off of her… should I punish you? He gaped at her closed eyes. If I punish you, will you make the same mistake? He pondered.
Albeit, since when did she find out I'm not a human? Last time she revealed my feelings for her as well. And assessed that I was behaving as her jealous boyfriend. Like I thought, she knew me better than myself.
He lifted her off the ground, "Since when did you find out I'm not a human?"
Yanarym felt she was being carried in the air. She wrapped her arms around his neck for support and looked at his expression. He was mad, then now, he's smiling? Is he crazy?
"You were not aging, humans age Marcus. And you told me when I was young—you told me that you came from heaven to become my guardian. I get the idea, you're not human but not my guardian as well."
"What am I then?" Matteo smiled at her, she gazed back at him then looked away.
"Are you not mad anymore?"
"I guess so."
"You're not going to kill me?"
"No, it's not time yet. "
"So, you will kill me?"
"...no," He had a long pause before answering but that's enough to reassure Yanarym that he had no intention of killing her. "Yes, I need to kill you. You will become my wife, so you have to die." She held her breath and peered at him. This was escalating to something she couldn't handle.
"Your wife, and kill me?"
"Yes," he smiled at her, "You are sharp Rym if you figured out my identity and you know that I have feelings for you. You should know that being married to me is not that simple."
I don't even want to marry you! Yanarym screamed at her head.
"W-where are we going? Are we getting married now? You said you won't kill me yet." He laughed at her and opened a door, which was her room.
"Your room." And it was her room on a different spectrum.
"I can walk, Marcus. You can put me down… " can I run away? Yanayrm grumbled.
"My name's Matteo, not Marcus, in the future, whenever we are alone, that's what you will call me, understand?"
"Yes, Matteo, Matteo? Oh, shit!-" Yanarym almost fell from the height when she used her hands to cover her mouth, it was a good thing he was holding her tightly.
Matteo? The first son of God?! The fuck! Wasn't he the second most powerful being in this world? The original caught a big shot, didn't she?
How come the original died like that at the end? Was she not revived by Matteo? No, if the original had a happy ending then, Yanarym must not be needed here. What happened? Guide-sama!
Guide-sama was not answering, where are you?! She redirected her eyes to Mar—Matteo and he was preparing her chemise and she was frozen at her spot seeing him take off his shirt.
"What are you doing?" Her eyes widened seeing his ripped body. "Why are you taking off your clothes here?" She took a step back but a strong force pulled her forward to him. "Marcus!"
"Matteo," his deep voice echoed and gave her chills, "Call me by my name," he effortlessly carried her, with his butt-nakedness. "We're taking a bath."
"I can wash my own body!" He took off her clothes without any difficulty.
"I know, but I'm not going with you just to take a bath." He said and opened the door.
What? What does that mean?! Are we going to have sex?! No! I just got fucked by Lyndon! I can't be fucked by two men in a day! At least not today! Yanarym struggled to escape but it was futile.
