Chapter 54 - acting

max was surprised when he heard me accusing Sam of lying about his amnesia and said that we should go back and ask him why he lied and who the killer was. I said that that won't be possible because just the fact that Sam is acting means that the killer is onto him if he reveals the identity of the killer and he was right not only him but even we will be at the risk of getting killed.

today was the first time the fact that we might get killed striked max. our first mission as the USD's and it is truly a deadly one. the killer knows our identities, our backgrounds and even knows we are after him. so the question is why hasn't he done anything to us.

I suddenly remembered something I shouldn't have forgotten. I asked max to call everyone to the cafe. I ran home as fast as possible. I couldn't believe I forgot the letter that was advised to me from Luna. I ran till I reached my front door. I composed myself and casualty walked into the house went to my room and took the letter which was short's pocket. I walked outside my room said to ace that we are going to finish our homework in the cafe. he said,"ok but be back by 8 I am cooking tonight."

I said,"don't mess up the kitchen" as I walked out the door and closed it then I again began to run all the way to the cafe.i saw that everyone was waiting in our usual spot. I sat down and kept the letter on the table.

"before we open the letter let me ask you one thing are you willing to put your life on the line to find the killer."....
