"I can't believe this! I mean..really?!" Damon drags Austin's unconscious body toward his car. He lays Austin down. "You know how dangerous it is to show mortals our powers? Not only that but to attack them in daylight!"
Scarlett sighs. "I know..." She opens the back door. "I get it...but-"
"But nothing! When your father hears about this he isn't going to be happy" He puts Austin in the back seat. "Now.." He closes the door. "I'm going to go clean up your mess. Make sure he gets home safe and remember" He gets close to her. "Don't let him remember what actually happened" He walks off, toward the remains of the men.
She looks at Austin. "I'm sorry..." She gets in the driver seat and turns the car on.
"So what even are you?" Austin asks, sitting up.
She jumps. "God! I forgot you were there"
He gets in the front seat. "So.." He looks at her. "What are you?"
She sighs. "Listen not here okay?" She drives out of the park and onto the road. "I'm a demon. Well half. My mom got pregnant by the devil himself. My mother didn't know though."
Austin looks forward. "Wow.."
"But I'll turn full demon when I kill..." She remembers the men. She swallows hard. "When I kill...someone"
He looks at her. "So..."
She chuckles. "Guess I'm a "full demon"?"
He sighs. "So that means you're evil huh? Being the spawn of Satan."
She nods. "I don't want to be...but I can't stop it. I get this feeling. I can't feel anything but anger...I just want to hurt and kill...and never stop..."
He looks at her. "I wish there was something I could do.."
"There's nothing you can do." She snaps at him. "I am who I am. I'm not normal. Hell even saying that sounds nice but honestly it doesn't feel nice. But it's who I am. I'm the devils spawn and now I have to carry out my duty"
"But you don't have to" He touches her shoulder. "Scarlett, you don't have to be like them. You could be different."
She shakes her head. "I'm pretty sure if I told that to them I would either be stripped of my powers or be killed. Hell maybe both."
He sighs. "Still though.."
She looks at him. "I know you feel bad for me but I promise I'm fine. I know this is a lot and I understand if you don't want to hang out with me anymore." She pulls over to his house.
He shakes his head. "No. I still want to see you." He leans towards her. "I'm not leaving you alone. I'm going to make sure you are still you and not someone's pawn."
She blushes. "Shut it.." She looks away.
He laughs. "Thanks for the ride." He gets out and goes up to his house.
She grips the steering wheel. "Damn it!" She turns the car off.
Austin turns to her. "Huh?"
She gets out of the car and walks to him.
"Scarlett I-"
She grabs him and kisses him. She feels his arms wrap around her waist. His lip meeting hers. It isn't the first but it won't be the last. She pulls away.
"Wh-what was that?" He laughs a little. Looking at her confused.
She sighs. "For believing in me" She walks back to the car.
He stares at her.
She smiles as she starts the car again.
*Scarlett's House*
Scarlett walks in her house. She freezes when she enters. 'Something's up...' She closes the door slowly while looking around. "Marcus?" She yells while walking up to the stairs. No answer. 'He could be out..' She walks around the bottom half. 'Looks like it's clear.' She looks up the stairs. 'Now the upstairs..' She takes a step when Marcus walks in the front door.
"Hey.." He closes it. A sadness runs over his face.
She takes a deep breath. "Something up?" She turns to him.
He sighs. "I think I'm quitting school.."
Her eye's widen. "Now? Right before we graduate?"
"I can't deal with anymore!" He yells.
She looks at him.
"I..I can't.." Tears run down his face. "You don't know what it's like being..." He stops. Taking a deep breath. "Being a guy that goes to school everyday and wanting the one thing in the whole world and never be able to have it.."
She goes to pat his shoulder but he moves away. "Marcus.."
"No.." He shakes his head. "I'm leaving.." He goes to go up the stairs but Scarlett jumps in front of him. "Whoa!" He falls back but she grabs his arm. He looks at her stunned.
She shakes her head. "I need to tell you something.."
*After telling him everything that happened*
He rubs his face as he sits on the couch.
Scarlett laughs. "I know.."
He shakes his head. "So.." He looks at her. "Your a-"
"Demon" She nods. "Look I don't like it. Okay?" She bites her lip. She did sort of like having this control but she didn't like to hurt people. She looks at him. "Have you-"
"No. Nothing. Nothing at all." He sighs. "Why do you get this?"
She laughs. "Like I want it?"
He raises a brow. "I wish I did."
"No you don't." She shakes her head.
"Why? Think!" He stands. "I could do whatever I wanted! I could be free to not hide!"
"Marcus you don't need powers to be free." She sighs. "Look" She stands up next to him. "I promise it's not fun having these mix emotions." She crosses her arms while looking away. "I hate them sometimes.."
"But other times you love it?" He smiles.
"Marcus stop!" She yells.
He freezes.
"Look! I don't like it! But at the same time I do!" Her eyes start to turn red but she shakes her head. "No.." She rubs her eyes.

"Cool!" He says excited.
"STOP!" She screams loud causing Marcus to fly against the wall. Her eyes red. "Shut it!" She clutches her fists. "Just shut up!"
He gets up slowly. "Ow!" He falls back down. His arm broken.
Her eye's go back to normal. "Marcus.." She goes to help him but grabs her hand. "No.." Tears run down her face. "I have to..." She shakes her head before leaving the house. She gets into her car. "Damn it!" She hits the steering wheel. 'Just when things start to get better!' She grabs her phone. She dials.
"Hello. What is your-"
"I need a ambulance at 2234 Limber Street." She fights back the tears.
"Okay. What-"
She hangs up. Throwing the phone out the window before driving off.
