Chapter 20：CHAPTER 20: WHY ARE YOU AVOIDING ME?

JARON P.O.V

I was waiting for Cadence as I looked at my wristwatch. I know that she is on the way home from work. I walked towards her doorsteps waiting for her. I need to talk to her clearing things out. I do not like the way she ignoring me out of nowhere without knowing what I did.

For thirty minutes waiting, her car arrived in due time. She was happy holding McDo in her hand but as she was nearly near me, her smiles vanish.

"What are you doing here?" she said without even a single smile.

I just stared at her without answering her. She stares back at me challenging me but then she blinked. I know there is something going on with her especially with me. She walked pass me and opened her front door.

I followed her inside even she did not invite me in. I closed the door as I was inside the house and I found her in the kitchen putting down the McDo paper bag on the table. She still not talking and I just stood there quietly.

She was busy taking out the foods. After she was done with it, she sighed deeply. I walked towards her cupped her cheek then looking each other's eyes.

"Why are you avoiding me princess?" I said as I stroke her cheeks to my thumbs.

"No, I am not avoiding you." She replied but her eyeballs turned to the right side. She did not look at me straight and biting her lower lip.

"Yes you are and you are lying to me now." She did not response. Looking at her lips, but I slowly lower my face to kiss her lips.

I kissed her slowly, passionately and she did not oppose. We stopped as we were catching some air. I hugged her close to me and she does the same. We were like that for a while before her tummy was growling.

We both laughed. 

We sat facing each other while Cadence giving me some foods she brought. "Wow, are you expecting some company here tonight?" I asked while looking at her. She brought foods was over one person. 

"No, I bought it for myself only." She replied.

"Are you sure? It seems to me it was not for one person." I said doubtfully.

"Well, it is true this is just for myself only because I was planning to stay my weekend here in the house and not planning to go out." She defends.

"Okay, well since I am here I will accompany you the weekend." I grinned with malice and she just shook her head.

We were start talking as if nothing has happened previously. I enjoyed talking to her and vice versa.

After the meal, I went home to take a shower but planning to sleepover to her room. I did not tell her but that is on my mind. I missed her lately even in just a few days.

I do not have any plans tonight or tomorrow so, I just stick to her and have something we do. 

I finished all my nighttime routines and I went to crossover to her window. I knocked thrice before she opened her curtain and saw me standing.

She immediately opened the window for me to get in. "Hi" that was I said when I was inches near her.

"Oh, hello." She replied. "What are you still doing here? Are you not planning for a night life outside?" she curiously asked me.

"No, I will stick to you tonight and tomorrow. I will accompany you until you will not get over my face." I grinned at her and she rolled her eyes.

I pulled her close to me then give her a kiss. She was speechless for a moment but kissed me back. She pulled away. "Why did you do that?" she pouted as she slapped my chest.

"Whatever." She said then rolled again as she walked towards her bed. 

I quickly tickled her and she laughed like crazy. "Stop, stop, stop. I surrender…," she said until we stumble and fall on her bed.
