Chapter 39：CHAPTER 39: DAVIES BLOODLINE

Last day of work for this week and I am looking forward for my weekend with my kids. However, I have to survive for this day before looking forward for tomorrow. I sighed as I looked at my kids eating their breakfast. 

Jaxon is look alike to his father while Cady is a little me but much Davies blood on it. It cannot deny that they are one of their bloodlines.

I keep some picture of Jaron and I took during our high school graduation. I keep telling them who their father is. I do not want them to feel that they do not have a father at least they know them even just a photo.

I am not that kind of person that telling them bad about their father because what we had well, for me it was love when I made them. I do not want to elaborate Jaron side because we were not in romantic relationship at that time. We were just hooking up and I am one of the women he has been hooking.

I am thankful that my kids growing up well manner, kind, soft hearted and understanding. When they asked where is their dad. I just made some believable reason that their father is working overseas that need to save for their future.

They understand a little for now because they are still young but when they reach older, I do not know what else I should tell them.

Driving to the company my body is trembling knowing that today is the announcement of Jaron, the new CEO of JD Global in B City. I have to calm myself every now and then because we will be seeing each other every day, 8 hours a day, and 5 days a week. 

I parked my car in the basement area I got a privilege of being an Executive Secretary of the CEO. Not all employees allowed to park in the basement only higher position.

Ordinary employees can park their vehicles in front of the building. There are some space areas outside the building but still in the company premises.

My slot was near the CEO reserved area. I quickly jumped out to my car then use the executive elevator up to my designated floor.

I tapped my shoes on the elevator floor knowing that I am tense. 'Calm Cadence, Calm' I keep on saying in my mind.

I reached my floor then proceed to the restroom first; I looked at my appearance in front of the mirror. I pull out my face powder apply it on my face. Retouched my lipstick then spray a little cologne all over me. Checking everything to myself then I went out to the restroom walked towards my table. 

I placed my bag inside my drawer and put my phone inside my blazer pocket. I was wearing black above the knee pencil skirt and red silk blouse then black blazer.

I went inside Ms. Julie office to open up her window blinds, turn on the air con and arrange or check her desk. That is one of my morning routine when I arrived at the office.

No one allowed going inside even the cleaning staff, I am the one who will do the things inside for confidential purposes. On the other hand, if they are unless I am with the cleaning crew or the boss is in.

I finished everything when the door opened. Jaron was coming in and I greeted him. "Good morning Sir." I said acting as if we were just boss/secretary relationship.

"Good morning Cadence" he replied then I bowed to go back to my desk. Before I walked towards the door, he called me. "Cadence…"

I turned around calmly. "Yes sir, do you need anything." I asked.

He was about to say something when the door opened and Ms. Julie walks in.
