Chapter 45：CHAPTER 45: HIS GIRLFRIEND

CADENCE P.O.V

He was fully focus on running their business and I am happy to see him that. He changed a lot from being a bad boy womanizer from high school to a CEO, one of the known business empire in the country. 

I still did not have the guts to tell me about the kids. It is a good thing because I am not ready yet and I think he might freak out if he knows they exist.

It was Thursday morning; I got a call from the reception area that someone was looking for the CEO saying she is the girlfriend. My heart stopped after hearing it. I thought I misheard so I asked again.

"What did you just said?" I asked through the other line again.

"Ms. Cad, she said that she wants to see Ms. Jaron Davies. And she is his girlfriend, her name is Samantha Blake." She replied.

'Gosh! I did hear it right. Jaron has a girlfriend.' 

I called his line. "Yes, Cadence." –Jaron

"Boss, there is a woman in the lobby looking for you. Sh-she said she is your girlfriend. Samantha Blake." My voice is obviously not normal when I say that.

"Okay, send her up." Then the line cut.

My hands were trembling as I was still holding the phone. I pressed the reception number. "Okay, let her come up. Thank you." I said.

My mind was blank for knowing the news. For so many years we were not together, he has someone he seriously loves. I should have known, with his statue and looks I should have known.

A woman walk towards me is definitely a beauty. A waist that every man love, busts that every woman dream of to have. A height of a model that could not any person loves that. I knocked his office and heard him come in.

I opened the door widely Jaron stood up I let his girlfriend stepped inside. The woman clings to his neck immediately as soon as she saw him I looked down as I close the door

I go straight to the restroom in mini kitchen. I looked at myself at the mirror and my tears suddenly drop from my eyes. I could not control it but it was really flowing. I stayed there for a few minutes to calm down myself.

My phone vibrates then I saw his name calling me. I closed my eyes then act normal when I pressed answer. "Hello Boss." I said.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"I am having some errands Boss. Why? Do you need something?" I asked.

"No, I will go out and won't be back." He said. "See you tomorrow."

"Okay, boss, copy." I was relieved to hear that I will not see them. I saw them walking out from the office while I was in the mini kitchen windows. Luckily, tinted glass not seen from the outside.

I do not want him to see me like this. My eyes were a little bit swollen and red. I do not like it if he will notice me that I cried a while ago. He looked at my desk as he passed by.

I should stop whatever feelings I have for him. It is not good for me and my kids I have to erase whatever I have for him. I should move on since I have my kids with me that is the most important thing in my life right now.

I went back to my desk and focus on my duty.
