Chapter 9

Three days later, Dr. Sato requested the whole family of Ethan including his siblings to go to his office in order to discuss the current condition of Ethan. During the pass few days, Ethan's health went from worst to better thus he was transferred back to his private room and that was the only news that everyone knows.

"Good Morning everyone, it has been a while since we all sit here in my office." Said Dr. Sato

"Good Morning Dr. Sato, how is my grandson doing?" asked grandma go.

"well, Ethan's doing fine and just last night we transferred him back to his private room, I assume that Mr. Arata told you about that. I know that you are all frustrated that none of you were allowed to visit him as per the request of Ethan when he woke up."

"yes, but we respect Ethan's decision and we know that you will take care of him on behalf of us," said grandma Aoki.

"thank you for the trust old madam Aoki but nonetheless we did our best for Ethan as well. And currently we just need to wait for Dr. Akifumi to arrive so that he will explain to all of you his current condition and when will be the possible day Ethan will be going home, ok?"

"alright but Dr, Sato why did you asked us to bring Nathan and Elise with us?" asked father Aoki who is still wondering why would his other two children need to with them in the hospital.

Nathan was sitting on the lap of his father while Elise was sitting on the lap of her mother waiting what Dr. Sato will say since they too are wondering why they would need to hear about Ethan's condition. Elise was annoyed by the thought of this, but she tried her best not to show it.

"well, that is because we would need to asked the two kids a few questions about what happened that day when Ethan was stabbed," said Dr. Sato and just after he said that they all heard a knock by the door and Dr. Akifumi entered the room.

"Good Morning everyone! I hope you did not wait a long time." said Dr. Akifumi as he walked towards the table of Dr. Sato who stood up and let Dr. Akifumi sit on his chair while he stands up behind him.

"Dr. Akifumi, how is Ethan doing? Did he need another surgery or something?" asked grandma go directly.

"well, to give everyone a good news, as soon as Ethan woke up the next day after his surgery, we immediately had him took an x-ray and it showed that there are no more glass shards left in his system thus he didn't need another surgery. However, he still needed some blood transfusion, but that ended yesterday. Currently, he is now stable and away from any harm, actually when before I go here, I checked him for a bit and I saw him having a fun conversation with my son whom he met last night."

"Oh! Thank god! Thank you Dr. Akifumi for keeping our grandson safe," said grandma go who was very delighted to hear that Ethan is making good progress. Grandpa go was very happy as well as everyone else inside the room except for Elise.

"don't mention it old madam go, it is our job to keep our patient healthy and in good condition."

"when will be the possible date for Ethan to go home then?" asked grandpa Aoki who is thinking of having stay with them or over to grandpa go's side.

"If Ethan continuous to have a great progress, he will be able to go home next week or less. We are still monitoring his condition, but he is doing really fine" said Dr. Akifumi who was so happy to share the current progress of Ethan's health since compare to any normal omega he has the fastest state of recovery.

"That's great news!" said grandpa Aoki who was very happy hearing that. Although none of them notice yet that the parents of Ethan hasn't said anything ever since Dr. Akifumi started talking about Ethan's condition.

"Now then, let us move on the next agenda, shall we?" asked Dr. Sato. By this time, Dr. Akifumi stood up and let Dr. Sato sit on his chair since he will be showing the CCTV footage of that day.

"that is the CCTV footage of that day right?" asked father Aoki

"that's right and before I proceed with my question to your two children, I would want you to listen to this recoding," said Dr. Sato who played the recording. It was a recording of Ethan when they asked him last night about what really happened inside his room. When everyone heard it, almost all of them looked at Elise with contempt and anger. They never thought that she can do such to her younger sibling.

"H-HE IS LYING! I D-DIDN'T DO IT!" shouted Elise as she becomes defensive.

"I'm sorry Elise but that would not be possible cause when we asked Ethan he was also being observed by a professional psychiatrist who was also doing his check up on Ethan since we thought Ethan would be needing some help after what he had been through so far and that very doctor was the one who judge if Ethan was lying or not." Said Dr. Sato who trusted his friend

"there might be some mistake here doctor, my daughter would never do that to her sibling!" defensively said mother Aoki

"Do you think that Ethan was lying as well Old master go and old master Aoki? If so then I would no longer continue with conversation"

"It's not that we don't believe what Ethan said but it is just unbelievable that Elise would stab Ethan. I am not being bias or anything but such thing is just…"said grandpa Aoki which later on agreed as well by grandpa go.

"I see, so you all think that Ethan was lying since Elise here was too innocent to do such thing to her little brother right? Then how about we ask what little Nathan has to say then? Nathan, would you tell us what really happened inside the room?" asked Dr. Sato.

"I..I...Ethan was telling the truth Doctor, I'm sorry Elise but Ethan is also my brother and I felt so guilty ever since that day," said Nathan who was really feeling guilty that he started crying.

"NO! NO! I DIDN'T DO IT!BROTHER DON'T LIE! THAT OMEGA DID IT TO HIMSELF!" shouted Elise as she started crying as well, "HE WANTED THE ATTENTION OF MOMMY AND DADDY, SO HE DID IT TO HIMSELF! THAT OMEGA DID IT-" just before Elise say her next word grandma go stood up and slap her.

"How dare you call your younger brother omega and not by his name! I see now that Ethan was telling the truth here judging by how you speak!" said the very angry grandma go. Everyone just can't believe what Elise said.. they were all shock and angry like grandma go except for mother and father Aoki who was just shock when their daughter started shouting.
