113 TRAVIS'S MISERY PT 1

After the new year party everyone again got busy with their own works, Tara and Sid were busy dealing with the new projects whereas Kian was busy with his company but a certain someone was restless since the party night only.

Travis who was sitting on his chair looking lost in thought was staring at the window with blank eyes. The thought of Tara and Sid's inseparable bonding was somehow making him restless.

At that moment Jeff entered his room with a tab in his hand.

"Yes we lost her...we lost our sister forever" Travis said in a hoarse voice.

"What the hell are you speaking?? did something happened to her??....no that's not possible I just talked with her yesterday only...big bro can you please tell me clearly what is disturbing you....you are like this from the new year's party only...you were the one who decided to visit her on the new year when Kian told you about the proposal thing...now what are you worried about...and what nonsense are you speaking...why will we loose her??" Jeff was now getting irritated with this strange behaviour of Travis.

"Jeff...from the day she was born she never left my eyes...you know the day she was born I was so happy that I can't frame that into a sentence...I always wanted a sister...a sister I can love and pamper...then she came into our life...I can never express in words how important she is to me...but giving her to the De's was the only rescue at that time...I never asked my grandfather why we have to seperate her from us because I knew that was the best option at that time to save her. The only reason I joined underworld was to suppress every threat coming towards her..." Travis sighed and looked at Jeff with eyes full of sadness.

"Jeff...the day she came back to the park with a new memory holding Sid's hand, I felt jealous for the first time in my life....she learnt every small thing holding Sid's hand...all those small things I wanted to teach her. She was just before my eyes but very far away...so far that I can hardly makeup the distance" Travis's corners of eyes shined with the tears he was holding for years.

Jeff looked at his brother and now he knows what exactly was wrong.

"Jeff...I still remember the day Sassy first went to school...Sid was narrating how she cried holding his hands on her first day...I listened silently but in my heart I was sad, I was sad because I always wanted to be the one who would hold her hands on her first day of school...but I can never do that" A tear drop escaped his eyes suddenly.

"Sassy never tell this but I know for her Sid is her priority she can do anything just to save Sid...and she proved that too when she joined the company at that tender age of 19...the day she came to our mansion and cried like a lost child because her brother was hospitalized I was jealous again...I wanted that affection of her I wanted to be her priority....but that was impossible then" Travis wiped his face and stood up from his chair and stood in front of the large window.

"Jeff I saw her becoming one of the best buisness woman...a person who never loses a single deal...but more than that I saw her suffer too...she suffered because of the sacrifices she have to do because of the family but still I was silent.... because I have lost that right too!" Travis sad expression was tearing apart Jeff's heart into pieces.

"Big bro..." Jeff said in a soft voice.

"Let me speak today!" Travis said in a slight determined tone.

Today he wanted to speak out all the miseries he was hiding beneath that expressionless face.
