Chapter 120 - MA...

Siddharth tried his level best to move on from the topic and sleep but whenever he closed his eyes the words of his grandfather echoed in his ears, waking him up everytime.

After trying for a long time he finally gave up and went to the kitchen to drink some water.

The whole house was dark and only sounds of his own footsteps were echoing in the huge hallways. He slowly made his way towards the kitchen but his eyes suddenly caught a figure standing in the garden outside.

When he looked closely it was Tara's Mom standing there staring at the sky with all her concentration. Siddharth smiled softly when he saw her face glowing in the moon light, he never missed his own mom because she was always there for him and his brothers.

She was the closest person he ever had as a mother.

He slowly made his way towards her and silently stood beside her.

Everyone says a mother knows everything, true to that, she slowly turned sideways to meet Siddharth's eyes and after few seconds she smiled softly.

"Can't sleep?" She asked in a gentle tone.

"Hmm..." Siddharth just hummed in response and held her hands softly.

"Want to sit together and talk?" Mrs.Ray said in a low voice.

"Hmm...let's just sit on that bench there" Both Siddharth and Mrs.Ray made their way to the nearby bench.

"So... what's disturbing you...?" Mrs.Ray asked while looking at the sky above.

"Nothing just the usual office stuffs..." Siddharth sighed softly.

"Tara is leaving tomorrow...so you will again have to handle everything alone but it's a relief that now you have some trustworthy people by your side in the office...you will be alright this time" Mrs.Ray smiled softly.

"Yes...ma...I am just so tired" Siddharth said in an inaudible voice and rested his head on her shoulder slowly.

"I know you are..." Mrs.Ray said softly.

"You know Ma... I just need some time alone away from all of these" Sid sighed softly.

"Hmm..." Mrs.Ray hummed softly.

"Ma...I want to propose Polen officially and marry her...I want to give her the dream marriage she always talked about...I want to see her laugh again... want to see Tara to become the most successful businesswoman of this country...I want to take all of them on the vacation I promised them years ago...I want to attain the book launch function of Sumit...I want to play tennis with Travis and Jeff again... I want Sourav to teach me some tech stuffs ... I want so many things but...I just don't have time ....I am always running...I want to stop now" Sid closed his eyes and sighed once again.

"Stop sighing so much..." Mrs.Ray smiled softly and held his hands tightly.

"It's okay if you are still not there...it's okay if you are lacking something right now maybe it's time that you are lacking right now but it's okay...it's okay if you are tired you should not be ashamed of this..it's fine if you want to stop for now" Mrs.Ray patted his shoulder softly.

"Ma...I can't stop now" Sid said in a sad tone.

"I know and you should not stop now too...I know you never wanted to enter the company but on the other hand I have never seen someone as skilled as you handling this company...Sid I know you never choose this but beleive me I can never imagine any other person in that chair other than you!" Mrs.Ray smiled softly.

"Sid you were always my favourite you know why because you never stopped no matter what...you were always that force of nature that made everyone around them live freely...I know you feel very lonely right now but please look around you once more there are many people waiting for you...try forgiving people around you and most importantly try to forgive yourself..." Mrs.Ray hugged Sid softly.

"Maa..." Sid said in a broken voice.

"Hmm...I am here" Mrs.Ray said in a soft voice.

Sid cried for a long time that night seeking refuge in his mother's embrace.

The whole garden was silent and the moon was shining alone in that dark sky, everything was quiet and dark but there too was a hope of a new morning, of the sun and of warmth just like there was still some hope inside Sid's heart.
