Evan watched Sam walk out of his class. His head hung low. His entourage of friends missing, a phone in his hands, his head bowed over it.
He looked up for a split second when someone bumped his shoulder gently; he apologized politely and was about to continue walking but then stopped. Immediately as his eyes fell on him, waiting across the hall from him. His face pulled into a slight grimace Evan smiled back.
'He was unhappy to see him, huh... good.'
'He was unhappy to be here. Maybe he shouldn't talk to him at all. Maybe he should just go snap and punch the bastard out for what he did to Leo.' Evan thought about it for a moment.
'He had kinda been wanting a fight lately.'
'There had been so much stress with finals, and emotions flying high. With Leo reminding him of his past the other day.'
'Sure... He could be happy to see the beautiful, hot, hunk Sam standing there, staring at him. Even if it was just so he could destroy his beautiful face.'
He was in that kinda mood today.
'And Sam looked a good many things today, beautiful, sexy, enticing... punchable.'
An even larger grin popped onto Evan's face.
"You wouldn't be leaving class late for little ole me, would you Sam?"
Evan strolled over his hands in his pockets a sneer appeared on his face.
Sam grinned and then he threw his fist before Sam had a chance to answer. It felt amazing. That feeling of his fist flying across Sam's pretty little face.
"What the hell man!" Sam yelled as he held his jaw staggering back in shock.
Evan rolled his shoulders and tilted his neck.
"That was for kissing Max and hurting Leo." Evan sniffed and wiped his nose, a grin of satisfaction lighting up his face.
Sam looked at him and rubbed his lip with the back of his hand. A drop of blood appeared on his knuckle, and he stared at it for a moment. Before sucking the blood off it and smirking, pure annoyance marring his beautiful features.
Sam scoffed.
"I was just trying to help. Max would never go for Leo if I hadn't helped." Sam quipped snidely, glaring at him.
Evan tried not to get distracted by how good Sam looked doing that.
"He would still be mulling it over in that thick skull of his. That's how he is. He needed a push and it scared him that he was going to hurt Leo because his feelings for him were fake, all because, because Leo was the only person he kissed. And I made him feel stupid with all my dumb teasing, " Sam snapped miserably,
"I didn't want to do it either…"
Evan nodded slowly. "I know."
"Still, it wasn't right." He said trying very hard to ignore how much watching Sam suck on his own knuckle was turning him on right now.
'Focus...' he thought.
"I couldn't think of anything else," Sam said, nursing his lip still.
Evan watched it fully enraptured with the way Sam was sucking on his own soft juicy lip. The slight tint of red to his saliva as his lip moved back and forth slightly under the suction was tantalizing.
He gulped as he felt his chest tighten at the thought of pulling that lip into his mouth and sucking Sam's wound clean for him. 'Evan try not to get distracted. You idiot.'
"I am just here to make sure." He paused.
"Sam, there really is nothing between you and Max, right?" He asked Sam without any malice. His voice almost purred as he concentrated on Sam's lips, more and more. It took an immense amount of willpower for him to focus back where he should look, into Sam's eyes.
Sam looked back at him. His face warring with fascination and enthrallment. Even his piqued interest in Evan and his choice of words and actions was distracting. The way he was staring back at him...
Evan cleared his throat.
Sam's brain seemed to process what he had just intoned, slowly. He stared at Evan as if he had swallowed some sort of alien substance and was now turning into something other than human.
"What?" Evan asked, smirking at him. The sudden change in Sam, the way he was staring, was amusing. He was judging Evan.
"First off, No," Sam said, a look of sheer incredulousness on his face.
Evan relaxed a little immediately as the weight on his heart lessened a little.
"Secondly..."
"Are you out of your damn mind?!" Sam looked at him as if he had just been thoroughly and utterly insulted. His reaction almost like the idea disgusted him.
Evan felt his anger building inside him again.
'What? Was he saying that because the idea of being gay was so unattractive, so insulting to him? It's always guys like him who act like this. I should have known.' He thought angrily.
"What? You have something against that kind of love?" Evan snapped, feeling provoked.
He suddenly wanted to punch Sam a second time, to watch him bleed again because of him. To punch that smug disgusted look of that pretty little face of his.
Sam turned to look at him. He watched the people passing by and then ignored them after the majority of them turned away and rounded the corner. All of them headed out of the building now that all classes were done.
He stepped closer to Evan, closing the distance between them in the now almost empty hall.
Evan backed up a step, instinctively.
"I have no problem who anyone loves. I support the love people choose because that is their choice." Sam quipped.
"I will always feel this way."
"Because I won't discriminate at all..."
"Ever... Gender doesn't matter when it comes to love."
"If you have a problem with it at all. You better not say a damn word more to Leo or Max about it. It was already hard enough helping Max accept his feelings for Leo. I don't need Max to hide in a self-conscious shell again." Sam snapped at him.
"So if you have a problem with gay love, I am telling you to keep it to yourself!"
"Or so help me. I will make it my personal mission to return that punch you gifted me multiple times. You got that E-V-A-N." He finished his rant with a sour look on his face and he growled out Evan's name with the pent up energy.
Evan held back a smile as his body still vibrated from hanging on every letter Sam had dragged out of his name.
Each one had hit him like a seductive punch to his insides. Eating away at his patience. It had been so long since he felt that rush of adrenaline, that ecstatic elation of having a sexy man say his name.'
'He wanted to laugh at this fool who had made one extremely deadly mistake just now.'
Evan stepped close to Sam, so close that their noses were almost touching.
Evan shook his head and bit his lip. Sam looked down at Evan's reddish-orange lips and then quickly back up at Evan's eyes, pretending he had done nothing.
Evan smirked. 'His quarry this time was almost too easy.'
"I'm gay."
Sam fell back a step in shock.
Evan's smirk blew into a full-blown grin that crept up one side of his face. 'Oooo how he loved that, that moment felt so good!'
He was reveling at the look of realization that shot across Sam's face. 'He ate it up. It was delectable! So good!'
He could almost see the clocks working in Sam's pretty little head, as he realized he had just made a few very wrong assumptions about Evan rather quickly.
Sam opened his mouth and closed it multiple times. Very much resembling a fish at that moment.
"Oh, uhhh..."
"Nothing else to say?" Evan added snidely. Amused, he watched Sam struggle to recover and then blush in frustration when he realized he couldn't.
Fascination overcame him as he waited to see what Sam would do next.
