The three guys' attention shifted to only Noah. They couldn't do anything to Jake and Lu Lijun, but Noah seemed like the easy target for them to take out their anger and use him to piss off Lu Lijun and Jake.
"Hey assistant, you are not in England, so you should watch out what you say," the first guy said, warning Noah as the three lazily sat on the couch.
It didn't affect Noah. He emptied the drink in one shot and looked at the empty glass, "Damn, it was not that good. Spoiled my mood." Noah looked at his friends, "I'll get another one. Do you want any?"
The two shook their heads to say no, and Noah stepped towards the bar counter.
Seeing Noah ignored them straight away, the three felt pissed, and one said, "Hey assistant, get drinks for us."
Noah turned to look at them and then looked on his either sides as if searching for someone and then looked back at the three, "Did you talk to me?"
"Who else is the assistant here?" the guy replied.
"But I have only one boss, so please help yourself," Noah commented, smiling lightly and went towards the bar counter.
The one guy who always acted as the leader among the three stood up.
Lu Lijun looked at him, "If you don't want your hand to be broken once again, then leave."
The memory from the childhood days when Lu Lijun broke his hand flashed in the guy's mind, and he smiled mockingly, "We are not kids now, Lu Lijun."
Lu Lijun grabbed the glass of juice from the table, "Don't blame me later for not warning you."
The guy didn't get what Lu Lijun said and went towards the bar counter where Noah talked to the bar attendant nicely while smiling.
Noah was busy instructing the bar attendant while standing in front of the counter, "Give your best, man. Make something that will kick me here." Noah pointed to his head.
Nodding, the bar attendant got busy preparing the drink as instructed by Noah.
"Add more of it," Noah instructed, pointing to one bottle.
Bar attendant obeyed just to get excited praise from Noah, "That's how it goes. Good job, my boy."
Just then, someone disturbed them.
"Didn't you hear what we said?" the guy yelled, standing a few steps away behind Noah.
Noah, who was busy observing his most awaited shot of drink, rubbed his ears and talked to the bar attendant, "Do you have mosquitoes here?"
"No, sir?" the bar attendant replied, being busy in his work.
"Then why do I hear a mosquito buzzing in my ears and surprisingly sounding annoying as f.u.c.k," Noah asked.
The guy standing behind Noah turned angrier and his other two friends, who still sat on the couch, stood up, clenching their fists.
Jake and Lu Lijun smiled lightly, being busy enjoying the drinks.
Noah's drink was ready. Ignoring what was happening behind his back, Noah picked up the glass as he had one sip and praised the bar attendant, who suddenly looked worried.
"This is what we call a drink," Noah commented, being happy about it.
The angry guy behind him couldn't stop this time.
"You...Today I'll teach you a lesson that your lowlife parents wouldn't be able to recognize you."
Saying, the guy stepped towards Noah, intending to pin him on the counter in front by holding him at the back of his neck.
Before he could even reach Noah, Noah swiftly shifted to one side, sensing the movement behind him.
The guy didn't expect Noah to move that quickly and fell at the counter, resulting in disturbing the stuff on the counter. A bottle of liquor fell that smashed on the ground along with few glasses.
Not feeling sorry for him, Noah looked at the glass in his hand and talked to it, "You are safe, my dear."
The guy got up, intending to beat Noah. He gritted his teeth. "I'll kill you."
"Wait," Noah stopped him.
The guy stopped, thinking Noah must be scared, and waited for him to speak.
"Let me first finish it. I hate if I can't finish my drink," Noah explained, ready to empty the glass.
Seeing Noah so chill affected the guy even more, and he hissed, "Drink, my ass," and marched towards Noah to throw his drink away.
The next moment the glass in Noah's hand was on the ground, smashed into the pieces as the drink spread all over.
Noah looked at the spread drink and sighed as if he was hurt so deeply and then looked at the guy as if he had committed the greatest sin of his life.
"I warned you," said Noah calmly.
The guy still took it lightly and stepped forward to punch Noah as he smirked, "You ass hole!"
Noah was calm as he blocked the guy's punch by blocking his fist in his palm and held it tightly.
Though Noah looked calm, his eyes carried the darkness, which showed that the pleasant smile and peaceful expression he always had were just a faked.
Holding the guy's hand tightly, Noah twisted it behind the guy's back and pinned him on the counter by holding him at the back of his neck.
This time the bar attendant already cleared the few more things kept on the counter, sensing there would be a fight.
Pressing the guy's face against the counter surface and holding him tightly not to let him move, Noah spoke, "So you want to kill me, kid? Such a sweet dream."
Seeing this, his other two friends who stood at the couch were about to step in to help his friend.
"Stay there if you don't want to get hurt," Jake warned.
The two friends thought his friend would handle it and waited for him, listening to Jake's warning.
"You don't know who my father is. You and your lowly parents will regret it," said the boy who was pinned on the counter; his cheek almost looked one with the counter surface.
Noah chuckled, "Talk about my parents, huh?" My parents are respectable government officials who can be a pain in the ass for your rich-fat-ass father if they want to."
