The next day was a chaotic one as everywhere there was news about the Lu and Wen family's upcoming affair regarding Lu Lijun and Liwei getting married. News and tabloids, everywhere it was the hot topic as nothing related to the Lus and Wens could go unnoticed.
Sitting in the living room, Lu Jinhai talked to Jiang Yuyan before they could leave for the office after having breakfast.
"This is going out of hand," Lu Jinhai commented.
"I have instructed to stop this news," Jiang Yuyan replied.
Lu Jinhai nodded lightly and asked, "What to do with the two?"
"Why is father asking President Lu about it instead of asking me?"
Someone interrupted them. That was Lu Lijun who came downstairs and heard the two talking. He had already gone through the news and didn't care about it as long as he could trouble Jiang Yuyan with it.
"So, what do you plan to do with it?" Lu Jinhai asked.
"No need to do anything as I don't see anything to worry about," Lu Lijun replied.
"Everyone is speculating something is going on between you and Liwei. If it's true, then I don't mind, but if it's not, then you should stop it," Lu Jinhai instructed.
"Who said there is nothing, and why should I stop just because of this?" Lu Lijun countered.
"What do you mean?" Lu Jinhai asked.
Lu Lijun glanced at Jiang Yuyan, who looked calm, but Lu Lijun could see she was worried inside, and he didn't want to miss this chance to upset her even more.
"We are dating," Lu Lijun replied.
It startled Lu Jinhai while Jiang Yuyan stared at him. She knew it was not the truth but said nothing in front of Lu Jinhai.
"Are you telling the truth?" Lu Jinhai asked.
"Why would I have brought her with me to the wedding?" Lu Lijun countered.
Lu Jinhai couldn't believe it because it was hard to believe Lu Lijun was dating someone so soon. Lu Jinhai knew his son this much well, but he had nothing to say when Lu Lijun himself admitted it.
"Need to inform my friend," Lu Jinhai commented.
"Mr. Wen would be happy," Lu Lijun replied.
"It's not what you think. He is possessive when it comes to his kids. He sure wants his daughter to marry in our family, but such news wouldn't make him happy as it can affect his daughter's image," Lu Jinhai replied.
"Then does Mr. Wen expect me to marry his daughter without knowing her well?" Lu Lijun countered.
"But not this way by making a big news out of it," Lu Jinhai countered.
"Isn't this news good as both companies can expect the rise in stock price?" Lu Lijun asked.
"We don't need such news to get it done." This time Jiang Yuyan said, staring at him coldly.
"But what can I do? As a future president, I see no problem with it. Isn't President Lu happy that I have started thinking about the future of business," Lu Lijun asked sarcastically.
"If this is the case, then it's the wrong way," Jiang Yuyan countered.
"As long as it's good for the business," Lu Lijun said again and added, "I'm leaving early. I have something to do."
Lu Lijun left without even having breakfast with his family.
"I don't know what's going on in his mind," Lu Jinhai commented and looked at Jiang Yuyan, to which she didn't reply.
"I need to call my friend," saying Lu Jinhai dialed Mr. Wen's contact number.

Wen residence….
Just like the Lu Family, there was a stressful atmosphere in Wen's family too.
"See what have you done," Mr. Wen said, passing the tablet to his daughter.
Liwei went through the news, "Father, I didn't know this would happen."
"You should have informed us about attending the wedding with Lu Lijun," Mr. Wen countered.
"It happened so suddenly," she replied, feeling embarrassed.
Wen Zac sat beside his sister and informed his father, "I have asked to remove this news."
Mr. Wen frowned, "Entire world already read it."
"Doesn't father want them to marry?" Wen Zac asked.
"I wanted it but not like this. These two don't even know each other well, and before that, the news came out. What if they don't want to marry later on. He is a man, so it won't affect him as much as it would affect Liwei."
"Marriage?" Liwei exclaimed, "From where this came from."
Mr. Wen sighed and looked at his son, "See, this is what I was talking about. After letting the entire world know, they would be like this."
Wen Zac looked at his sister, "If you are not sure, then you should not make such public appearances where things could be miss leading."
"I didn't know it would be this big issue," Liwei said in a low voice.
Wen Zac tried to make his sister understand the situation, "It was one of the biggest events in the city where important people are present, and media people are ready to catch the gossip. Moreover, when both of your parents attended the wedding, you two came on your own. Isn't it enough to draw a meaning? No one would think you are just friends."
"If you two won't marry, I don't want others to look down on my daughter by being a topic of gossip," Mr. Wen added.
"Your father is right, Liwei," Mrs. Wen said.
"I'm sorry," Liwei apologized as she understood what her family meant.
Just then, Mr. Wen's cell phone rang, and it was from Lu Jinhai.
The two talked about the situation and how to stop it from getting out of hand through media people.
"We should not let this happen again until things are certain," said Mr. Wen.
"True," Lu Jinhai agreed.
"Did you talk to Lu Lijun about it?" Mr. Wen asked.
"Hmm."
"What did he say?" Mr. Wen asked.
Lu Jinhai felt tensed as he looked at Jiang Yuyan, who waited for the conversation to end nicely.
"He said they are dating," Lu Jinhai answered.
"Dating?" Mr. Wen exclaimed, feeling shocked.
