4 Chapter 004 - Enough Food to Feed a Family of Ten!

a Yue soon arrives at the main dining room, the dining is big. The dining table inside is a big round table with many chairs, it can easily sit a family of ten. Just as she walks into the dining room, she can hear her father and her two older brothers talking.

"Good morning father, good morning older brother and 2nd older brother." Ba Yue greets them as she walks in. She then took a sit on an empty spot that is next to her older brother.

"Ah Yue, how's your rest? Are you feeling better?" Master immediately ask her as soon as his daughter taken a seat. He's still worried that she's still not feeling well, so he keeping at her face to see if it is pace or if she is showing any discomfort.

"Father. I'm feeling a lot better now, you don't have to worry about me so much." Ba Yue replies her father very calmly, but on the inside, she's happy that this father of hers is so caring.

"I don't think you should go outside today since you just woke up. Your body is still very weak right now and you shouldn't push yourself too hard."

"But I wanted to go out today to do a little shopping and to walk around a little to breathe some fresh air." Ba Yue insisted on going outside since there are a few things that she needs to buy.

"If you insisted on going outside today, make sure to bring your two older brothers along with you."

"It's okay, father. My older brothers have to attend school, so I shouldn't take up too much of their time now."

Ba Yue is giving an eye signal to two brothers telling them to not come with her! Unfortunately for Ba Yue, her brothers didn't understand her eye signal and instead have mistaken her eye signal as anticipating them to go with her.

"Little Yue, don't worry about our schoolwork. We have requested a break from school, so we currently have lots of free time on hand. We will take you anywhere you want to go and buy you whatever you want to eat!" Ba Jing happily replies Ba Yue with a bright smile on his happy face.

"That's right, you don't have to worry about us." Ba Zi also replies to Ba Yue with his expressionless face.

Just before Ba Yue can say anything else to stop her brothers from coming along, the food has arrived. There are four maids coming into the dining room with a 3 layered wooden basket in each of their hands. The 3 layered basket is full of food, and the maids are taking out the food from the baskets to set it up on the table. Ba Yue starts to sweatdrops like crazy when she sees the amount of food that's on the dining table.

Seeing the weird expression on Ba Yue's face, Master Ba though she was unhappy because there's less food than usual on the table. He looked at Ba Yue and said:

When Ba Yue look down at her bowl, her face is dumbfounded and her mouth is her twitching. She thought that what kind of people would call this plain and not much food! And what kind of normal people will eat kind of amount of food, oh right, it's her own family!

The amount of food on this table is enough to feed a normal family of 10! There's only 4 of them here and the amount of food served right now is only about a little more than half of what it's usually served!

The Ba family are all strong martial artists except for Ba Yue, of course. They trained very hard and can easily burn away these calories very quickly. They also need these calories to convert into energies to absorb into their body for training.

Ba Yue on the other doesn't do any training with them, but she still eats the same amount of food as the rest of the family. No wonder her father and two older brothers have such a nice body figure, while she ends up looking like how she is now! This is all their fault that she has such a figure, though Ba Yue.

Ba Yue feels defeated and didn't want to talk anymore, she just kept her head down and start eating the food in her bowl. The food was very tasty, but surprisingly to Ba Yue, she was able to finish all the food in her bowl! And it's still not enough for her, she barely feels full enough from that. Now her mood has gotten even worse than before, her body is used to this amount of food already and it's hard to change. But I guess it didn't matter, Ba Yue though to herself. She can add an extra hour to her training to burn off those calories and then convert it into energies to help with her training.

After breakfast, Ba Yue wanted to go to town to do some shopping. She needs to buy some new "normal" fitting clothes and herbs. Yes, herbs! When Ba Yue was still Li Hei Yi, she has learned medicine from her mother. Her mother had great medicine skill, even better than all those imperial doctors, but it was a secret that no one knows.

Her mother had taught her medicine, acupuncture, and poison! Li Hei Yi has learned all those skills from her but has never used any of it since there was no need to and her mother told her not to let anyone know. Not even her father!

Li Hei Yi's father met her mother while out training in the mountain on the east side of a Kinning country. According to others, father have saved her mother who was seriously injured at the time. He brought her back home and nurse her back to health, he later married her and she was soon born from their marriage.

Nothing much was known about Li Hei Yi's mother other than her name is Xia Ling. No one knows that her mother knows medicine, not even her husband! Her parents are very nice and polite to each other. They treated each other very well, but there's just something that seems off to her about her parents. They seem too proper to each other, she has never seen them get intimate or act close like lovers. But then again, who would want to get intimate or close in front of their child.

Her parents have died when she was 20 years, one year before she got chained and locked up in that small dirty underground cell. She was told that her parents died by from an accident, but it was murder! Plotted and killed by Mu Huang and Li SanSan's father, her uncle! She didn't know the real truth until one day after Mu Huang finished beating her, he bragged about how easy it was to kill her parents!

That was how she found out about the truth to her parents' death. Never in her life would she expected the real cause for her parents' death was related to the people she trusted the most!

Back to the present, Ba Yue is wandering around the town with her brothers. She wants to find a way to get rid of her brothers for a little while so she can go the herbal store to buy the herbs she needs. She knows a formula to make a weight loss medicine that can help her lose weight very quickly! But she doesn't want her brothers to know. And unfortunately for Ba Yue, her brother is watching her like a hawk and goes wherever she goes. Finally, Ba Yue decided to go into a clothing store to buy some new clothes.

"Welcome, Young Miss. Would you like to buy fabric or already made clothes?" asked the shopkeeper. But before Ba Yue can reply back to her, the shopkeeper continues to say, "if you want to buy clothes, we don't have your size. We will need to take your measurement and custom make it for you and it will cost extra."

Ba Yue's have black lines coming down her head, she didn't like the way this shopkeeper mentioned her size. With an expressionless face and voice, Ba Yue replies:

"I need new clothes, so take my measurement." She then quickly turns to her brothers and said: "it's going to take a while, you don't have to wait for me, I'm okay by myself here."

"Little Yue, it's okay. We have nothing else to do anyway, we can wait for you here." Ba Jing replies back to his sister while Ba Zi agreed by slightly nodding his head.

"Older brothers, since you have nothing to do when waiting for me. Can you go buy me the white flower cake and some other pasties from the famous Ding Xiang Tea House? I really want to eat it!" Ba Yue said it while looking at her brother with her big watery eyes and said it with a pleading tone of voice.

"It's going to take a while here to get my measurement taken. I promise to be good and wait here for you two to come back to get me, okay? You know how much I love Ding Xiang Tea House's pasties."

The two older brothers helplessly shake their head. They looked at her big watery eyes and finally gave in. Ba Zi then said:

"You got to stay here and wait for us to come back. Don't go anywhere else after you are done, okay?"

Ba Yue happily nods her head to agree to it. She then hurries her brothers out the door to go buy her pastries. Finally, her two older brothers are gone! She has to finish up here quickly, so she can go to the herbal store to buy what she needs. Then she has to hurry to come back before her brothers come back!

She quickly turns to the shopkeeper and rushes her to take her measurement. But first, she has to pick the fabric of her choice.

"How many sets of dresses or clothing would you like to make, young miss?" asked the shopkeeper as she takes Ba Yue's measurement.

"I need you to make 6 sets for now. Two sets in my current size, Two sets that need to be one size smaller than the current size. And the last two sets need to be at least 2 or more sizes smaller. And hurry up taking my measurement and do not ask why! Follow the samples I showed you before to make these clothes. When the clothes are ready, just deliver it to the Ba Residence."

The shopkeeper didn't ask anymore and quickly took Ba Yue's measurement. She told her that the clothes would be ready in about 3-5 days and it will be delivered to her when it's ready. After the shopkeeper thanks her for her business, Ba Yue paces out of the store in a hurry.

She quickly walks two doors down to go to the herbal store. The only reason why she picked that clothing store she was in before is because it's close to the herbal store. She got to the herbal store very quickly and brought what she needed. Luckily, it's just some normal herbs and the store have all the things she needed. She put the herbs in a crossbody bag that she had carried with her because she knew she needs to put the stuff away so no one else can see it.

Just as she walks out of the herbal store to go back to the clothing store, a man was pushed out of the restaurant right across the street and fell right in front of her.

"I'm sorry big sister, did I hurt you?" asked the man that's on the ground. Ba Yue stared at the man in front of her and thought to herself that he's a very beautiful looking man, so beautiful that his face can ruin a whole country!
