22 Chapter 022 - Stories Of The Pas

The memory rock flashes after Ba Yue insert her energy into the rock. Suddenly the rock shows a woman, and upon a closer look, it's actually her mother, Madame Ba herself.

"If you are seeing this message now, it means I'm not around anymore." The message shows Madame Ba sitting on a chair inside the same room she's currently in right now.

Ba Yue was shocked when she heard the name "Xia Ting" because when she was Li Hei Yi, her mother's name was Xia Ling. Does that mean they had something to do with each other? Does it mean that it was not a coincidence that I was reborn to this body? Even though she had she many questions in her head, she pushes it aside and concentrates listening to the message.

"I'm not originally from this Yuan Ren lower plane world. The place I'm from is called Tin Feng, it's an upper plane world with the strongest people living there. I was just a maid serving the young miss of Rong Family. Serving along the young miss with me is my older sister Xia Ling."

My mother and the past Ba Yue's mother were sisters! How can it be? How come they never said anything about this and no else knows about this. Not long after the marriage, the young miss's husband said he had something to do and left. He said he will need to go back to his home and handle some business. Soon after he left, the young miss found out she was pregnant with her first child. Everyone was happy except the subfamily head! He still wanted the family head position for his son, and to make it happen, both the young miss and the child inside her have to be gone!

When young miss was 9 months into her pregnancy, she has been poisoned! We don't know who poisoned her but we suspect it's the people from the subfamily. Due to the poison, young miss went into early labor and have given birth to a girl. The young miss soon falls into a coma state after giving birth. Master Rong was devastated! He used a frozen seal to seal the young miss body, hoping someday, someone with higher medical skill can save her.

The newborn baby girl was named Rong Hei Yue by young miss before she falls into a coma state. The poison didn't get into the baby's body since it was found out soon, but it has weakened her body. The master has ordered us to leave with the baby in order to keep her safe. He has to stay behind to find the culprit and also to keep young miss's body safe.

The master is worried that he won't be able to keep his granddaughter safe in this household with the subfamily people around. We left the Rong residence and in hope to find the baby's father. After young miss's husband left, he hasn't come back since and young miss was worried something might have happened to him. We didn't know where his family lives, only know they live in the capital city. The young miss wanted to look for him but was stopped by Master Rong since she was pregnant at the time.

We took the baby and start going toward the capital city, but was ambushed by assassins on the way. We fight through our way to escape but the baby was still injured. We know we can't continue to go to the capital city, they probably have more assassins there waiting for us on the way.

As we are running away from the assassins in the forest, we somehow fell into a hidden transportation portal and got transport here to this Yuan Ren World. That kind of hidden transportation portal doesn't have a set destination. Different people entering at different times will end up arriving at different places. Luckily my sister and I entered the portal with the baby at the same time so we ended up in the same place together. The baby was already extremely weak at birth and with the new injuries, she only has a breath left in her.

Just when we thought we will lose the baby, a woman also came out from the portal. She saw us and immediately know we are not from this world. She then looks at the baby and sign that the baby is very weak and won't live for long. We begged her to save the baby if she knows how to save the baby.

She took pity on us and the baby and said she can save the baby but it's going to be very hard. But she said there's a way to slowly heal the soul but it will take a long time and the process involving removing the soul from the original body.

The soul will be stapled inside the body that's holding it. We have agreed and the woman started removing the baby's soul from her body. But due to the already weakened soul of the baby, the soul split into 2 when it came out. Nan On-Ping told us she's from the Spirit World. People that live in the spirit world is mainly spirits or souls. But Nan On-Ping has a physical body, she must be someone very strong and from a powerful family there. She then also put a sleeping seal on the baby's body and said she will bring her back with her to heal her body.

She also told us that it will take many years to heal the baby's body. And the souls should be all better by the time it is able to merge together. It can then be once again be removed from the bodies and place back to the original body.

After telling us what to do and where to look for her, she left with the baby's body. My sister and I then look for a place to rest and recover. But we didn't get a chance to recover, because soon a few assassins have arrived. We continue to fight them off as we run, but my body is weak and can no longer run.

My older sister gives me most of her valuables and young miss Rong's space bracelet and told me to hide while she tries to mislead them to somewhere else.
