Side Story: Halloween Haunted House
Nell and Lyuu were frozen before the strange entrance.
It was a dark, mysterious, and terrifying sight to behold.
“...Um, Onii-san, what is this?” (Nell)
“Husband...what is this?” (Lyuu)
“No. No, I am not Onii-san or Husband at the moment. I am the monster Demon Lord Frankenstein!” (Yuki)
“Demon Lord Frankenstein-san, I don’t think it’s a good idea to refer to a monster as a Demon Lord.”
“I don’t care if it sounds bad or not. Because I am the monster Demon Lord Frankenstein. You can call me Franken-san if you like.” (Yuki)
“I see, so, Monster-san. Can you explain to us what this is all about?”
“Yes, what is this?”
“Well, uh, it’s a haunted house.” (Yuki)
Nell said with a gulp, “A... a haunted house.”
“Hmm, yeah, that’s right.” (Yuki)
Yes, this year’s Halloween was a haunted house.
The Wraith Girls were in their element!
“This is probably the only one of our family celebrations that I get nervous about...”
“Nell’s reaction is so cute, the Wraith Children love her.”
I smiled at the two of them as they chatted like that.
“What is it, Monster-san? What’s with that face?”
“...Yeah, you have quite an evil look on your face.”
“What? I am just trying to think of something fun to do, you know, to make it as fun as I want?” (Yuki)
“...as fun as as you want...”
“...to have fun, you need to give it your all.”
“You know exactly what I mean.” (Yuki)
Then they looked at each other.
“...Nell, I’m sorry for getting carried away. So, you know, I want you to stay with me.” (Lyuu)
“...Yeah, don’t worry about it. I’m the one asking you. Don’t leave me, stay next to me.” (Nell)
“...From here on, we’re all in this together.”
Even before entering the haunted house, the two of them were tight together, arm in arm. How cute those two were.
And then, my wives, looking a little nervous, entered the haunted house – and immediately, a beautiful scream could be heard from inside.
It never stopped, it kept on echoing intermittently, and it was echoing throughout my Demon Lord’s castle.
Well, I was glad to hear that they were enjoying it.
And so we spend the festival happily for the Wraith Girls of our home....
–Happy Halloween!
