Chapter 620 William's Discussion With Other Azaroth's Retainers

William shared all that he knew with his wives and then told them that he planned to contact his comrades about this information.

His wives knew that William wanted them to stay quiet while that conversation goes on.

Soon, six holographic figures appeared ahead of William. They belonged to Laura, Tiana, Yrellea, Sargan, Noah, and Ralph.

All of them were a bit startled since it was rare for them to use this mode of communication between them. They would normally only utilize the voice transmission to converse with each other.

The Mystical Spiritual Connection Rings were reserved for the time when there someone wanted to have an important discussion.

"...Why did you initiate this meeting, William?" Noah asked. He was the leader among them.

"Everyone, I have discovered proof about our Master's Status. He is alive in the Great Qin Empire. Not only that, but thirteen years later, he will be released back into the world as the Devil God," William spoke with a smile.

Those words caused each one of Azaroth's retainers to exhibit shocked expressions. Even Noah was no different.

Yrellea, Laura, and Tiana, let out breaths of relief and excitement.

It was Sargan who asked at this moment, "How?"

Then, William shared what he knew about Long Chen and everything he had told him. All of Azaroth's retainers remained silent and let William finish speaking everything he knew.

Once he was done speaking, Noah seemed to utter, "...You have done a great job, William."

"Thanks, Noah," William muttered. Even he felt really happy as he heard Noah's praise.

Sargan spoke out at this moment, "William, you mentioned that no news of us fighting alongside with our master was known to that time traveler. Everyone, what do you think that means?"

Laura was the one who spoke up ahead with a puzzled tone, "Yeah. I was a bit confused by that as well. I am sure that if Master does get released, I will do my utmost to support him. Although the Elven Kingdom won't completely support him, but me and my younger brother are going to do our best to use our status to support him. I think the fact that an Elf Princess, and an Elf Prince, supporting a Devil God, will become a huge news. If this had happened, that time traveler would have known this bit of news."

Tiana added, "You are right. But he couldn't have lied to William. This means that our affiliation with our Master wasn't leaked. But how?"

It was Noah who spoke up, "I don't understand that as well. If Master had been released, me and my entire Heretical Paladins would have done our best to support him no matter who stood in our way!" n/)o/)v)-E(.L..b/(1-/n

Ralph added, "Maybe something happened to us that prevented us from helping out our master. We might have helped release him back into the world but lost our lives in the process."

Yrellea muttered, "That might be possible. I can see myself losing my life like that."

All the other retainers of Azaroth, including William, agreed with Yrellea. Soon, a brief silence seemed to fall over them.

And suddenly, Sargan's eyes flashed with realization as he spoke out, "...Wait. We are forgetting something. What if it was our master Azaroth who ordered us to not help him out or reveal our affiliation to him?"

Those words caused all other retainers of Azaroth to have a shocked expression on their faces.

Tiana asked aloud, "No way...Why would Master prevent us from helping him out?"

Ralph spoke, "Something could have gone wrong. Or it might have been a trap."

"You are right...I didn't think about that. I was just too excited after hearing the news that master was released," William spoke as he considered these possibilities.

At this moment, Sargan's holographic face stared at William and spoke, "I think its more than that. I think Master might have realized that the time will rewind due to that Supreme Artifact Heavenly Discus. His future sight can see much more than mine, and there is a chance that he might have foreseen something, so he wanted to prevent us from revealing our affiliation to him in case it turned against us."

Noah's eyes flashed with realization, "...I see now. There must have been some limitations of that Supreme Artifact Heavenly Discus that turned back time. Experts like the Primordial God, Demon Venerable, or the Transcendent Saint might have retained their memories of that future. No, not just these three. Perhaps there are God Realm experts who have artifacts that could resist the influence of Time Laws. Our Master didn't want any of these experts to know of our affiliation with him."

But then, Laura spoke out a bit worriedly, "Wait. Doesn't that mean our Master is in danger now since the Demon Venerable, Primordial God, and the Transcendent Saint, might have the memories of him being released in the Great Qin Empire?"

Sargan spoke confidently, "No. Not yet at the least. The Ruler of the Qin Empire has kept Master alive for so long so he must have a specific reason for that. Perhaps something he needs. And as long as the Great Qin Empire is adamant on restraining our Master, there is nothing that the Primordial God or the Demon Venerable can do."

Noah spoke a bit resolutely, "This means that we need to be even quicker and more intelligent this time."

"Yeah," all of the other retainers agreed with his reasoning.

Soon, Noah turned to William and inquired, "How did the taming of that Heavenless Fiery Monkey go? Is it ready to join us in the battle against the Bewitching Droplet Divine Goddess?"

William nodded confidently. "Yes, it's ready."

"Great. Let's plan for the battle in a month's time. We need to defeat her to obtain her Celestial Spark, Blood Essence, and Divine Corpse. Be prepared," Noah declared with determination.

"I will be," William assured.

Laura chimed in with a question, "How many of these items have you gathered so far, Noah?"

Noah paused for a moment before responding, "For now, I have one Celestial Spark, two drops of Blood Essence from different Celestial Gods, and three Divine Corpses. I only managed to defeat one of the Celestial Gods by sheer luck. The other items I found in ruins that were likely left behind by a powerful Celestial God. It's a shame that the Celestial Spark had already dissipated, and most of the Blood Essence had dried up."

Those words sent a chill down the spine of each one of Azaroth's retainers.

It reminded them of how absurdly powerful Noah was. He had managed to kill a Celestial God while being at the peak of the Emperor Realm expert! This was a tremendous achievement!

Noah downplayed it, mentioning that it had been the toughest battle of his life and that he'd won by sheer luck. Still, the magnitude of his accomplishment couldn't be understated.
