Volume 5 Chapter 8: Dorm Mother Training

Volume 5 Chapter 8: Dorm Mother Training

"What do you mean?" Diana glared at Nephele. That caused Nephele to look back down. It was like a lion staring down at a chihuahua.

Keith asked, "Your name is Nephele, right?"

"Mmhmm." "From now on, you're a dorm mother like Diana." "Really?!"

"Is it really alright?" Diana was now questioning it. She wanted Nephele to join. But she was doubting it now. After what happened, she was afraid someone would be sent flying again.

"Naturally, that also means not sending people flying." Keith laughed.

"Understood!" Nephele nodded.

"Diana will be the one to teach you on what a dorm mother does," Keith added. When he said that,

"Wait, what?!" Nephele was going to say something when she was dragged away by Diana. There was no hesitation in her movements.

"Someone save me!" But the others couldn't do anything. Well, wouldn't. Since the super pacifier had spoken, nothing could be done.

"I should get started." Keith waved his hand as he needed to prepare dinner.

...

"Ugh." Herrick slowly woke up as he stared at the ceiling. Where am I?

"You're up now?"

"Vice-principal." Herrick turned to see Sohma. He was going to get up, but Sohma shook his head,

"Don't get up so soon."

"Understood." Herrick paused. I was knocked out so easily. He remembered what happened. He had seen someone he didn't know on the island. Without any hesitation, he challenged her to a fight. He saw her as an opponent.

A second gong was raised for everyone as they started to eat faster. The dining room was filled with a hunger never seen before.

...

Once they finished eating, Nephele followed Diana back to her home.

"Sister, he's an interesting one."

"Indeed, he is." Diana nodded.

"And the food he made was delicious as well." Nephele still drooled at the thought of the food. It was scrumptious.

"Is that why you didn't want to leave?" That could be the case with her!

"That's not the case." Well, not mainly. If Diana said she wasn't staying because of the food, she would be lying.

"Then why?"

"Because it's Keith." Diana smiled.

"Eh?"

"Enough about me. We need to sleep now. You have a lot of work to do for tomorrow."

"Eh?!!"

"You're going to be training to be a proper dorm mother," Diana smirked.

"..."

"And I won't be pulling punches either." Diana was going to mold her into the perfect assistant.

"..." No words. Just no amount of grief could help Nephele in this situation.
