Volume 5 Chapter 44: Thank Goodness It Wasn’t Cold Food

"Nghhh! That was some great training!" Keith waved his hand back and forth. However, that caused Alfia to sigh,

"How could you not be tired when you move like a monster?!" There was no way he wasn't. Keith had been sprinting like a madman in Tennol's class. He was also busy helping the other students as well.

This man should be tired right now. Yet, there were no signs! How Keith walked so chipperly was something.

"Hey, are you really not going to do something about him?" Alfia nudged Keith. There was something else she was concerned about. Herrick was losing the usual glow to himself.

It was strange to see the big lion be so meek. Herrick looked more like a house cat.

"It's fine." Keith shrugged.

"..." Are you going to keep saying that? Keith kept repeating those words without a care in the world. The group sat down at the lunch table. They were going to say something,

"Alfia,"

"Licht!" Alfia's expression brightened when she saw who it was. She turned to everyone, "Guys, this is my brother, Licht."

"Hello," Licht smiled as he greeted. The others did the same,

"Alfia, do you want to have lunch with me?"

"I-" Alfia looked at Keith and the others. However, Keith smiled and said, "Go for it."

"I will see you guys later,"

She turned to Faelyn, "Faelyn, you can stay here."

"Since you guys made a mistake, there's no need to worry about it," Keith laughed before wiping the food off his face.

"You guys can go," The elves walked away without a thought.

"Heh,"

"Can't believe he bought that." The elves snicker as they walk away.

"Keith, are you alright?" With a worried look, Carolyn wiped the food off his face. A smile was still plastered on Keith's face as he laughed.

"Ahh, there's no need to worry. My head is fine. Thank goodness today's food is cold. If it was hot, I might have been dancing."

"..." Carolyn didn't say anything as she stared at him.

"HOW COULD YOU ASK SO CALM ABOUT IT?!" The others were tense, but Herrick was the only one who wasn't.

"Those guys were trying to pick a fight with you. Do you even have any pride?!"

"Hmm? What does pride have to do with it?" Keith tilted his head, confused.

"Those guys were clearly mocking you! How could you take that lying down?! Those guys should be beaten up!" He couldn't take it. How could Keith sit there and take that?

"It was only a mistake, Herrick. There's really no need to be so angry." Keith smiled. However, the latter was still furious.

"You can't act like this!" Herrick didn't think any longer as he got up from his seat! Talking with him made it worse.

"Keith," Carolyn had an anxious look. But Keith shook his head,

"It's alright, this is nothing."
