"Like your attitude," Tennol nodded, "And begin!" The golem made the first move again, dashing at the two. The target was Alfia.

Herrick quickly jumped in to block its path.

"Think you can charge in without fighting me?" A grin formed as he stared at the monster.

"You know it can't hear you, right?"

"Shut it! Put some distance between us!" Herrick scoffed at her.

"Don't need to tell me that." Alfia scowled as she jumped away from the fight.

"Good. There's at least some teamwork going on." Despite the harsh words, he could see the teamwork between them. There was some idea of what they wanted to do; use Alfia's magic while Herrick distracted the golem.

It was the same tactic that Scarlet and he used.

"Could they really do it?" Gabriel questioned.

"Yeah."

"Herrick isn't like Keith. He doesn't have the footwork like him." One of the reasons Keith could block the thing was his footwork and technique. Herrick didn't have any of that. His was strength.

"I think he's using me as the base," Keith could tell Herrick was trying the same thing he did. Similar, but not entirely.

"I see. That would make more sense." Herrick had tried to copy Keith before. But it was impossible, not with his body.

"I doubt the golem would only charge," Keith muttered. He felt something off with the golem. And he was right! The golem started to spin!

"!" Herrick reacted, but he was sent flying in the process.

"Damn!" "It could do that?"

"What kind of golem spins like a top?!" The way it was spinning was too fast.

"!" Alfia was the next target. However,

"Wind Heel!" Wind formed under her feet as she flew up.

"That thing isn't going to let Alfia chant."

"And Herrick really can't dodge and take those hits." He would be sent flying again.

"Wait a minute, what are they doing?" Herrick and Alfia huddled up together. She had quickly grabbed him and brought him up.

"We're not going to win with our strategy."

So this is what he wanted.

"Good job, you two!" On the island, the rest congratulated them.

"Princess, that was a spectacular performance!" Faelyn praised Alfia to heaven and earth.

"Thanks. But this was a team effort." Alfia muttered. She couldn't take the credit alone.

"You know it." Herrick smiled. But then he got a slap from Melor, "How could you beastify like that and not lose your sanity?" That was a surprise. Usually, the person would turn rabid.

"I don't know either. I guess because I lower the output?" Herrick wasn't fully beastified. He only went around 50.

"To think Keith's plan would work so well!" Nephele commented as she wiped her tears.

"Idiot!" "No!" Diana and Aidiun grabbed their heads when they heard that.

"...Plan?" A blank expression appeared on Alfia and Herrick's faces.

"There was a plan?" Melor tilted his head. When did this happen?

"No! There was none of that!" Nephele waved her hands. She realized what she said.

"This woman is just saying nonsense. Pay her no mind." Diana tried to wave it off. However,

"I have to do so much paperwork because of that Keith!" The clincher was Cadmus entering the mansion.

"Principal, why do you need to do more paperwork?" Alfia asked. Keith's name was brought up again. That couldn't be a coincidence.

"Because he's the one who asked me to alter the golem."

"Eh?!" Everyone's expression dropped.

"Oh, dear god!" Aidiun slapped his head. Did you have to say it like that?

"Wait, he didn't tell you guys about it?" Cadmus blinked. Behind the students, Diana, Nephele, and Aidiun made many gestures, telling him to shut it.

"Wait a minute. Never mind. I said something wrong. Did I say Keith? I meant this tree!"

"..." This idiot dragon. Diana and the rest face-palmed while the students backed away from Herrick and Alfia.

"Where is Keith?" The guy wasn't here.

"I think he's meeting with someone right now?" Sarah remembered him saying something.

"Good. We'll wait for him to come back." And then we'll wring his neck out. There were no two ways about it. This man was going to be facing two monsters.
