Volume 6 Chapter 61: Tradition

"Hmm, this guy is actually durable." The sword didn't fully go through the arm even when Keith applied force to his blow; it was half-stuck inside it. Gritting his teeth, Keith pulled the blade out. And that was when he realized.

Oh no! Something was glowing from the orc's mouth as it fired.

"Senior Sakura, watch out!" Keith quickly grabbed Sakura and pushed her away. And when he did,

Booom! What happened behind him was a fiery scorch! The entire ground was scorched.

"It can roar out fire?! What the?!" Why am I not surprised?! If cows could do it, why couldn't pigs? But seeing it and thinking of it were two different stories.

"Keith, blink out of there!" Keith and Sakura quickly blinked away from the orc. And the orc scorched the earth again! It was burning itself. CHeCk for new stories on no/v/el/bin(.)c0m

"Senior Sakura, can I do something?" "What do you want to do?"

"I want to test out my new magic." Keith had a hunch that it might work against this monster.

"...Understood. I will follow your lead." Sakura noticed the glimmer in Keith's eyes. It was saying he was positive about his move.

Sakura quickly moved away from Keith. The orc's attention shifted onto Keith as he made his move! The orc's movement suddenly came to a halt!

"Go for it." Sakura gestured. The two had killed it together. Keith had more than the right to eat it. Moreover, she was also interested in what Keith would make with it.

A stuffed tenderloin will be perfect!" Keith summoned some mushrooms, onions, and some herbs. He started to sautee them first to make the filling. Once the filling was done, Keith took out a knife and stared at the tenderloin cut. Slowly, he butterflied the meat, making it flat.

"Are you going to stuff the meat with it?" Sakura stared intensely, noticing what he had made. Keith nodded, "Mmhmm, I'm going to roll it up."

He placed the filling on one side and started rolling the meat slowly. I can't let it be loose. If it was, the filling would come out. Once Keith was finished tightening it, he took some rope and tied it up.

He placed it on top of the fire, and a smile formed, "Now, the only thing we have to do is wait."

"By the way, Senior Sakura, what will happen on club recruitment day?" That was something he had to ask. The way Tristan and Licht talked about it made him slightly worried.

Sakura should know about it as well.

"I'm forbidden to tell you anything." Sakura shook her head.

"Eh?" You're forbidden to say anything? "Why are you forbidden from talking about it?"

"All the upperclassmen are forbidden to talk about it, but that's to be expected. It's tradition."

"Tradition?" Now, that made Keith even more curious.
