Making plans
I could understand the poor guys confusion as I looked like many things but a pill master was definitely not amongst that list. From what I had gathered off the internet most pill masters were either scrawny unkempt individuals or old folks who had been doing it for a long time. This was obviously a stereotype but it did turn out true more times than not apparently. I did not fall into this stereotype and it clearly threw the clerk off. Still the guy was professional and rang me up anyways and waited for me to dig out the appropriate amount of money.-
After I purchased the equipment I carefully packed it away in my bag with a frown as I noticed that the main space of my bag was getting full. 'I need to get a larger bag soon since I am clearly hoarding a large amount of random junk. That or I can put some of this shit in the PC box and hope I don't need it when I'm miles away from another PC.' I think with a sigh as I leave the store. The worst part is I can think of a few scenarios where that might actually prove true and I would feel regret for the stuff I stored away.-
'Bigger bag it is then , what a pain in the ass.' I determined with a groan and pulled out my pokenav to price check trainer bags. I will never get over the strangeness of this world sometimes as when i pulled it up I almost immediately found a bag that had a small houses worth of space including separate pockets with their own expanded spaces. The price for something so stupidly high tech was a measly fifty thousand poke and is customizable.-
In comparison a single grade five water stone like those I had could cover that cost seventy times at market price which was much lower than I could sell such a stone on auction for. Hell I only needed to do five of the well paying jobs like the one I got for capturing that Vulpix to pay for the bag. 'Guess I should go see what jobs are available tomorrow while Gaia and Vulcan are training.' I decided as I headed to the gym to meet up with Melissa. I don't think I need to explain what happened after we got back to her place for the day.-
The building also had a steady stream of foot traffic as well that reminded me a bit of the way blood flowed into and out of the heart. This was an apt way to look at it as well since for most trainers the pokecenter was indeed a vital resource that could spell life or death both figuratively and VERY literally. For me though I was one skill and some intense practice away from not needing the place at all. Money? Alchemy. Healing? Aura , the healing ability and the medical skill. I was very close to be set up to never need to go to a pokecenter again.-
Well so long as I personally don't need medical treatment that is but I try to avoid getting in situations where that is common. Anyways I followed the ingoing traffic for the center and noticed something interesting after I entered the building. Unlike the one in Iron town this pokecenter actually had different floors for the services they offered. The first two floors were for medical treatments , the third and fourth floors were for jobs and the fifth to seventh floors were the hosing areas.-
I crammed into an elevator with around twelve other people and pressed the button for my destination on the third floor. Ignoring the discomfort of the other passengers in the elevator I waited until we arrived before getting off. Like you would expect the floor was bustling with people and had the sort of noisiness to it that came from many voices speaking at once. I walked over to the nearest available clerk and sat down in front of their desk calmly. The pink haired man looked nervous after he registered who I was since word of things like what I went through likely traveled to every member of the clan.-
"I am here to look at the jobs available." I said honestly. The man sighed in relief "I see , please give me a moment to bring them up." he says while turning to type something out on his computers keyboard and click the mouse a couple times. "This is what our most recent update to the list has available." the man said while turning the computer screen to me and handing over the mouse so I can scroll through it.
