'So multitasking also prevents it from attacking? This is probably due to it's inexperience most likely. It probably got indecisive from the three directions it was being attacked from and froze up as a result.' I thought as I tapped the keystone with a pokeball to capture the ghost type. The ball shook two times before settling down and I felt the artificial bond form. Immediately I grimaced as a wave of chaotic emotions came through the connection. "Ugh , why did I expect anything different?" I muttered with a headache. Turning the balls button to the right slightly I put the ball into stasis mode which kept the pokemon within in a sort of hibernative state.-

I did this because I actually couldn't have any more pokemon active since I already had the leagues max six per trainer. I could probably stretch the rules a bit if I were to exclude the Feebas egg as baby pokemon were legally not allowed to battle until they reached maturity but the fact remains that I did plan on having the little one on my team. Thankfully the maturation rate of pokemon was quite fast so I only needed to wait a couple months to be able to train the little one. -

That said I could just store the Spiritomb indefinitely if I wanted to since ghost types don't actually need food in most cases. Rather than that though I planned to send Tank to Birch until he evolves into a Butterfree while working on bonding with the Spiritomb in the meanwhile. Unlike most naturally born pokemon ghost types like Spiritomb didn't usually care about training to be the best they can be in most cases. They required a genuine bond to train and grow and a special sort of person to handle their darker impulses.-

This meant that my usual method of explaining my ambition as well as my advantages simply won't work in this case. The Spiritomb if anything was likely to just give me a funny look if I tried it as it wouldn't understand why it should give a shit about any of that. "Good work everyone!" I praised my team and they all looked happy. With the only witness gone I double checked my surroundings before pulling out my rewards to use. I started with the item tickets since those were the least important in my opinion.-

Holding up my palm I smiled as a orb of energy formed above it in a violently circulating manner before I pointed in the distance and the aura sphere shot out with a loud "BANG!". It was weak compared to nearly all moves used by pokemon but it WAS a move. That was far better than most aura masters ever achieve as they simply never reach the levels of energy needed to do so. I couldn't spam the things though as that single aura sphere drained a good quarter of my energy.-

"Tie! Rani! Tie!" Gaia said with a disapproving look at me. What she said roughly translated to "Are you done?" with all the sass. I chuckled "Yeah I'm good now , couldn't help but try it immediately." I said as I got up off the ground. Aura sphere was the first move that any aura master needed to pull off before they could start trying to learn other moves from the other types. The move was considered steel type due to it's sturdiness but it technically didn't actually have a typing. From this point on I had to start familiarizing myself with every type energy there was so I could learn most moves.-

I couldn't learn EVERY move of course as I lacked the body parts required for them such as fly or aerial ace to name a few. Elemental moves like ember , water gun or blizzard though were all fair game. "Now that that's taken care of we should probably head back along this path to see if anyone needs our help." I said pointing at the wide trail of destruction leading straight to Mt. Chimney. I got affirmation from my team and we started walking while keeping our senses sharp in case we saw or heard a distressed individuals.-

There was nothing but eerie silence and destruction for the first few hours down this new path until it gave way to the sound of beeping coming from right next to me. My team and I were startled for a moment as we tried to find out where the sound was coming from until we figured out that my bag was going off. "Look presentable folks I think the egg is hatching!" I said and my team gathered around curiously as I took out the dive container from my bag as well as the egg.
