"I see, well please try not to create any disturbances while you are here." he said more as a formality than anything. I could tell he was uneasy about allowing me in the village but by law he couldn't actively chase me off. "You can relax I have no intention of causing problems. As I said just stocking up before passing through." I tell him reassuringly. He looked unconvinced but nodded and let me through all the same. The architecture of the village was mostly wood and stone with heavily sloped roofs clearly designed for snow.-

Sinnoh was a cold region due to it's northern position on the globe and even "hot" parts that weren't volcanic never exceeded sixty degrees Fahrenheit. The far northern part of the region and mountains around Mt. Coronet were even perpetually covered in snow year round. Anyways the buildings were made for the snow that came in the later months of the year. The size of the village wasn't overly large with a population of maybe a thousand or so people total. The layout of the place was also fairly standard with the buildings set in nice neat rows for efficiency and the shops being on the main street or near it.-

In the middle of the street was a pokecenter and next to that a pokemart. Then there were the restaurants and stores lucky enough to have spots on the main street as well. I saw lumber, herbs, jewelry, food and of course a few general stores for the daily necessities. Besides the league buildings that were purposely made to stand out there were only three buildings that looked different than the others. The first was a small transportation hub that rented out pokemon to take people to and from Canalave and Jubilife.-

I wasn't too surprised about this as I knew that services like this tended to pop up in these small villages and towns that were between the cities. I hadn't seen any in Hoenn mostly because I rarely entered these sort of places and went through the wilderness instead. The second outstanding building was an icecream shop oddly enough. It was built similarly to the rest of the village but was painted white and red and had a large neon sign in the shape of an icecream cone. I made a mental note to pay the place a visit.-

No one was certain how exactly this worked either as it wasn't something even someone with the plant manipulation ability was able to replicate. When one tried it the final result was entirely different despite the process being nearly identical. Not to say that it was worth much despite this as the vines root was the only part worth anything to an alchemist and only then as a stabilizing agent for more volatile recipes. For beginner alchemists this was quite a useful property but once an alchemist reached Adept or higher mastery any alchemist had at hand easier to acquire ingredients for the same purpose.-

Hell I myself had no less than twenty different ingredients that could stabilize my works depending on the composition without any side effects. I had one for each type of energy and then a few for general purpose or healing type potions and supplements. The only reason I went to buy this root myself was merely for my personal collection. After the herb shop I headed towards the icecream parlor that was empty save the woman I saw through the glass windows cleaning the tables and floor.-

A little bell rang when I pulled open the door and the woman smiled as she turned to greet me. "Welcome to the best icecream parlor in Sinnoh! Please give me a moment to finish up and I'll be happy to serve you, please look over the selection in the meantime!" the woman said with a bright smile. "Not that it's my place but I happen to have a cleaning solution that wouldn't leave a residue behind on your wooden tables." I offer after seeing the suboptimal results of the chemical solution that was clearly used on the tables.-

"That's quite kind of you but I can't really afford to buy more expensive solutions, sorry." she said slightly less friendly than before. "Ah I apologize I wasn't trying to insult you or anything nor am I trying to sell you anything. I'm an alchemist you see and happened to create such a thing on accident while experimenting is all. It's been taking up space in my bag since I have no need for it and figured it would be better in your hands than my own. As a bonus it also smells like oran berry." I clarify with a chuckle.
