[Joint Struggle]

The Fireball fired by Noelia lands on the ground where the footprints are.

The blast blows off the mud, and at the same time, flips up the cloak that conceals the giant Genocider.

“There it is!” (Frick)

“I see it.” (Al)

After jumping off the wall, we close the distance to the Genocider in an instant.

“Dayle, let’s go all out right from the start!” (Frick)

[Roger! Dayle won’t lose to the swords that Al-sama got!]

Dayle is motivated.

It seems that she’s burning with a sense of rivalry to Gawain’s newest swords.

Certainly, the swords used by Al are excellent weapons.

However, I prefer Dayle, who I can communicate with.

[Dayle knows Master loves her, but we are in the midst of a battle now, you know.]

“Dayle. It’s better to stay silent when you hear something like that, okay? O’ mana, gather in mine hand! Become mine clone and manifest here! Mirage Body.” (Frick)

I finish the chanting of Mirage Body with a calm face so she doesn’t notice my embarrassment from having my thought read.

The created mirage body pulls out its sword, before slashing at the Genocider.

[Roger! Dayle will keep that Master loves Dayle a secret.]

“Stop the pointless chatter now.” (Frick)

“Frick-san, is it okay to chat with Dayle? It looks like the opponent isn’t going to wait.” (Al)

The discovered Genocider tosses away its cloak, which has become useless, and begin to hold its right arm that is attached with a cylinder towards us.

“I know. Al, that thing on its right arm is a dangerous weapon, so we should break it first. Of course, you can do it, right?” (Frick)

Al, nodding silently, kicks the ground that have become dry and leaps toward Genocider right away.

Fast! That’s Al for you.

Her movement is equal to or better than that of me when I enhanced my body.

Al, leaping toward the Genocider, inserts the medal on her belt into the pommels of her short swords.

The blades of the short swords in her hands then become cladded in flame and ice.

And then, the moment she passes by the Genocider, the tips of Al’s short swords shake.

The way she skillfully manipulates the tip of her swords accurately despite that.

Her sword art that is devoid of any hesitation, which she displayed when she defeated the demonic dragon with just a single sword.

[Wow! Her slash is as quick as Master’s!]

“Dayle, that slash is even more amazing than mine! That’s the slash released by the swordsman I set as my goal.” (Frick)

When Al lands on the ground, the metal cylinder on the right hand of the Genocider breaks apart and falls to the ground.

“Get away from it, Al! O’ mana, gather in mine hand! Become a flame that burns everything and erase mine enemies! The light of the end 《Megiddo Explosion》” (Frick)

While its attention is focused on Al, I cast the greatest fire-attributed magic toward the Genocider.

A huge fireball appears in the sky. It cuts through the air, dropping to the ground, before hitting the Genocider directly and blowing up a massive explosive flame.

The shockwave blows in all direction as though to sweep everything away, and the ground is gouged deeply by the impact.

“This is Frick-san’s strongest magic… huh. Amazing. Even the terrain changed.” (Al)

I see Al, who has gotten out of range before the magic went off, become petrified looking at the crater which was the center of the explosion.

“Al-sama, the Genocider won’t fall with that level of attack. Please don’t let your guard down!” (Noelia)

In response to Noelia’s voice, Al readies her swords again, on guard.

The Genocider slowly comes out of the crater which is emitting smoke like one from an eruption.

“O’ thousands of hard stones sleeping on the ground, intersect with the atmosphere, become spirals, and pierce mine enemy! Spiral Barrage.” (Noelia)

I’ve never heard that chanting before.

Is it a magic Noelia created?

From the ground at the feet of Noelia, who is holding up her staff, emerges thousands of sharp-pointed stones. Immediately after, they fly straight toward the Genocider who is coming out of the crater.

Thousands of hard, sharp-pointed stones pierce the body of the Genocider, which is covered with hard skin, one after another, leaving it riddled with holes.

It works!

However, it’s not over yet!

“We better not give the opponent time to counter attack, right!” (Al)

Al, having loaded her swords with new medals, cuts off the arm of the writhing and spurting blood Genocider with her lightning-clad short swords.

Its fighting power has declined, but it still has its mouth, so we can’t be careless.

[Dayle will activate Spell Sword! ※■▲〇※■▲〇]

Sensing my intention of doing a follow up attack, Dayle emits lightning from her blade.

Along with the mirage body that releases an ice magic in order to restraint the Genocider, I slash its body with Dayle’s lightning-clad blade.

Shallow! It’s not fatally injured yet.

While struggling, the Genocider opens its mouth wide and begins to collect pale light in the back of its throat.

After I retreated and passed by Al as though to change place with her, she slips under the Genocider’s chest and stabs up her short swords from under its chin, forcing its mouth to close.

Light leaks out from the mouth of the Genocider who’s trying to launch an attack, and a loud sound of explosion echoes.

“It has… stopped moving. Is it dead already?” (Noelia)

“We can’t let our guard down. Both in the village and the royal capital, we couldn’t defeat it easily.” (Frick)

“It can still move even in that state?” (Al)

The Genocider is standing stock still with green blood bleeding from all over its body and black smoke coming out of its mouth.

Then after a while, the Genocider’s knees collapse, and it falls to the ground.

“It doesn’t… explode.” (Frick)

“Yes, its body doesn’t glow pale, too.” (Noelia)

“That means we have defeated it, right?” (Al)

As we are feeling relieved, having defeated the Genocider, a loud sound of explosion rings out near the wall where the battle is ongoing.

When we look at the direction of the sound, dust cloud and black smoke rise there, and the wall has collapsed, opening a large hole.

And, the figure of a Genocider is visible there.

It’s too soon to be relieved it seems.
