I didn’t really feel like a sophomore. However, thinking that from today I would be considered a senior, I have grown up a little. I guess it would be more correct to say that I have grown older.

“Ren-kun, I’m nervous.”

“Why?”

“Eh! Because It’s already… time for division of classes”

“Are there class divisions?”

“Didn’t the teacher say that as the school year goes up, there will be class divisions every time?”

That’s what the teacher said…. Maybe I was pleasantly asleep at the time.

I really don’t remember them talking about it.

“Mou~, it’s embarrassing that I’m the only one who cares about this.”

“Well, if we are in different classes, we can still see each other during recess.”

“I want to be in the same class as you!”

Kaede puffed out her cheeks and said, “Let’s go!” while walking with long strides.

I’d definitely prefer to be in the same class as her, too.

But I was a little embarrassed to be honest and didn’t want to raise a flag that we would definitely be in the same class, so that’s why I responded like that.

That response was no good, I reflected.

When we arrived at the school, there were still people who were staring at us.

But one thing was different from before. Kaede was less reserved than before, and I have no idea if it’s because they were already aware that I was her boyfriend, but I could see a couple of guys breaking down in tears when they saw Kaede.

“Sorry” I said, clasping my hands together and closing my eyes.

“Fufu, it would be nice if you honestly said that you want to be in the same class as me.”

“Huh? Ah, ah”

It was a mercy prayer for the men, but it resulted in curing Kaede’s mood.

My feelings were somewhat mixed.

“Fu~, fu~, fu~”

Kaede was jumping, her blonde hair swaying and trying her best to look at the class placement paper at the back of the room.

I could see without jumping, so I already knew that me and Kaede were in the same class.

I struck a victory pose in my heart.

“Re-Ren-kun! Can you see it?”

“Yes, I see it.”

“W-What is it?”

“Well, will I be bothering you again this year?”

I meant to say, in a roundabout way, that we were in the same class. Kaede did not respond. Was it hard to understand?

“I-I’m glad to hear that.~”

She said, smiling at me feeling relieved.

“Us and Chinatsu are in the same class too”

“I can’t wait to meet her.”

“Well, she’s just in time.”

“Seriously, that girl” I said, but Kaede stared at me with a stern look on her face.

“You can’t say that to others when you yourself used to be just in time before, you know?”

“Gghh… I-I’m sorry.”

“Shall we go to class then?

Kaede grabbed me by the arm and we headed to class. I was really looking forward to school now, just a little bit.
