“Is everyone hungry?”

Takuto asked. Come to think of it, I was so engrossed in marine life that I had completely lost track of time.

I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was already 11:45 a.m., which meant it was already lunchtime.

“Sure enough, it’s almost time to go.”

“Ah, I’m suddenly hungry thinking that it’s already lunchtime.” Kaede said,

“And you Chinatsu?”

Takuto casually asked Chinatsu. I guess this was what made Takuto so popular….not that I envy him or anything.

I’m just trying to learn from the best. Besides….having Kaede is already enough for me.

When I glanced at Kaede, she was looking at me, too, and our eyes met perfectly.

I immediately tried to look away, embarrassed, but Kaede smiled at me shyly.

(Man….I want to hug you right now!)

I thought so strongly in here, but I suppressed it and turned my face away.

“if everyone else is going to eat, then I’ll eat too …”

Just as Chinatsu was about to say so, a loud rumbling sound was heard. 

Chinatsu’s face was bright red and she was shaking.

“Okay, let’s have lunch.”

“…yeah.”

“Is everyone ready for lunch?”

“I’m fine”

“Me too. And Chinatsu’s on her last legs.”

When I jokingly said in an agitated tone to Chinatsu, Chinatsu glared at me.

(Oh, I messed up…)

“Hey, Ren!”

“Ren-kun, that’s mean, okay? Please apologize.”

Takuto seemed to want to say something to me, but Kaede interrupted him and said to me in a cold tone.

“I-I’m sorry. I joked around too much.”

“Good”

Kaede then smiled at me. The moment I saw that smile, I felt relieved.

“Hahaha! Ren is too weak against Kae-chan, isn’t he?”

“What?! I-I just thought it was my fault just now, and I’m not particularly weak or anything like that.”

“Hmm, what shall I have you do for an apology~?”

“Wait a minute! It wasn’t that bad!”

“Chinatsu-san, please don’t bully Ren-kun too much, okay?”

She stopped saying, “If Kae-chan says so,” but she looked at me and stuck her tongue out at me.

Chinatsu was cheered up, earlier she was in a bad mood, but now she was smiling cheerfully.

It seems like a lie that I was nervous until just now.

As I was thinking that, Takuto poked me in the side. It was a little painful.

You must be angry… I think I would be angry if Takuto said that to Kaede.

“Takuto-san, I’m really regretting it right now.”

“Ah, if Kaede-san hadn’t said that, I would have been angry too.”

When I gave him a resigned look, Takuto laughed.

“Thanks to you, Chinatsu is feeling a little better.”

While we were having this exchange, we arrived at a restaurant inside the aquarium.

Chinatsu strongly recommended this place. I guessed it must be delicious.

“I’m sorry, I have to go to the bathroom.”

After saying that, both of them went to the restroom, so it was just Takuto and me.

“Takuto, when are you going to apologize?”

When I casually asked Takuto that, he laughed and took a sip of water on the table.

“I’m fine. I’ll apologize by the time we leave this aquarium.”

“I hope you’re right. You have to apologize first.”

“I know I will.”

“Okay, then.”

I hope this couple will make up soon because I want them to be a bacouple all the time.

“Ah, I’m going to go see the aquarium with Kaede, so why don’t you look around the aquarium with Chinatsu?”

“You mean, going our separate ways?”

“That’s what I meant.”

“Thanks…”

“We went around together in the morning, and I’d like to look around with Kaede alone.”

By the time I said that, it was too late. Takuto was grinning while looking at me.

“That last thing is what you really want”

“Well? Who knows~”

“It’s so steamy~, it’s melting the ice.”

“Shut up.”

Saying so, I drank the ice-cold water, and sure enough, the ice was already melting.
