The three True Devil Others that had surrounded Li Hongyou had the strength of first-grade Dukes. However, it wouldn’t be easy for Li Hongyou to deal with them, as she only had the aid of two hundred Guardians.

As such, she was at a loss when the three True Devil Others ambushed her. Nonetheless, having been one of the top students back in the Heavenly Star Hall of the Heavenly Origin Ancient College, keeping the situation under control wasn't a problem, despite not being skilled in offense.

She did not panic, as they were still in the area under the control of the Dragon's Fang Guardians. As long as she could drag things out, someone would come to her aid for sure.

In fact, her aid had come sooner than she had expected.

As fast as a bolt of lightning, domineering blade energy shrouded with dual resonance power flew across the golden water and struck the exposed cranium of one of the True Devil Others. A crack appeared on its head immediately. However, what happened next was almost unnerving. A pale palm extended out of the brain and grasped at the two halves, pulling them together. With that, the gap that was cut open by the energy was forcefully sealed up.

Nonetheless, the offensive assault launched by the three True Devil Others had been affected. They looked up with their white eyes, and a figure wielding a blade zipped across the water towards them.

It was none other than Li Luo.

Li Luo looked at the Others calmly and hacked downwards. The void in front of him split open immediately, and a black dragon charged out. It rode atop a pitch-black stream of water, diving through the golden water, and directly clashed with one of the True Devil Others.

The black dragon let out a low roar. At the next moment, both the dragon and the black water dissipated after a single strike. The True Devil Other had disintegrated as well in the resulting explosion.

With just a single strike, Li Luo had finished off one of the first-grade Duke True Devil Others. It was clear his offensive might was in an entirely different realm when compared to Li Hongyou's.

Li Hongyou's face relaxed when she saw Li Luo coming to her aid. She moved back swiftly and formed hand seals with her slender, jade hands. At the next moment, a golden talisman surrounded by crimson light condensed in the air and was fused into Li Luo's body. The pulses of resonant power coming from Li Luo's body strengthened significantly.

Li Luo grinned. He then burst forward once again and swung his sharp sword across the golden water, leaving behind a trail of sparkling waves. This environment greatly bolstered his water resonance

The other two True Devil Others let out sharp cries and charged directly towards Li Luo.

The battle concluded faster than they had expected. The two True Devil Others were not much of a threat to Li Luo, who had the aid of two hundred Guardians as well as Li Hongyou right now. In just a few minutes, the waves in the surrounding area calmed down. The two True Devil Others let out pitiful shrieks just before they were completely vanquished. Li Luo heaved a sigh of relief, still holding onto his Dragon Elephant Blade.

Li Hongyou leaned over and whispered to him, "Thank you, Li Luo."

Li Luo shook his head. He then asked in surprise, "Senior Hongyou, how did you encounter so many True Devil Others?"

Li Luo had been hunting for half a day, and none of the Golden Stone Spirit Clams that he had come across contained Others. It must have been exceptionally unfortunate for Li Hongyou to meet three of them like this.

"Maybe it's because I've also encountered quite a lot more clams," Li Hongyou explained.

This left Li Luo in surprise. "How many pearls have you collected?"

Clearly, they were a bit confused by the summon. Now was the best time to search for the Golden Stone Spirit Clams, and calling them here would delay their search efforts. The other members took a look at each other. Then they quickly scanned their surroundings and realized there were not many traces of the Golden Stone Spirit Clams. However, since Li Luo had spoken, they would obey.

"We acknowledge your command!"

With that, the thousand Guardians got into formation. Resonant power surged up and flooded the area.

Then Li Luo grabbed onto his Grand Commander plaque, and the enormous energy in the area poured into his body.

An extremely terrifying amount of energy then surrounded his body. Li Luo could tell from the energy undulations that he had reached the threshold of an upper third-grade Duke.

This gave him more confidence in his plan. He turned towards Li Hongyou and told her, "Senior Hongyou, let's begin."

Li Hongyou nodded and sat down in the lotus position in the middle of the golden water. Then she bit her own finger, causing fresh blood to ooze out. She then activated her resonant power, and her fresh blood was invigorated and a fragrant scent was unleashed.

Li Luo could sense that the scent was spreading in every direction, into every nook and cranny.

He was a little nervous as he looked around the crevices and pits in the area. Whether they would reap a bountiful return would be all up to how enticing Li Hongyou's Crimson Heart Vermilion Fruit resonance was to the Golden Stone Spirit Clams.

At this moment, the other members of the Dragon's Fang Guardians were also looking around the surroundings with a hint of doubt in their minds. They knew what Li Luo was trying to do.

However, would this really work?

The Golden Stone Spirit Clams were well known for being cautious creatures. At the slightest hint of trouble, they would hide deeply in the golden boulders and refuse to come out again.
