Chapter 1322: Fourth-grade True Devil

Weng! At an intersection, corruption surged forth and Li Foluo directly rushed outwards. Four looming Duke Bergfrieds manifested above his head and Divine Mist spilled out. Lava flowed through it and it emitted a horrifying temperature.

Li Foluo had an upper eighth-grade Lava resonance and his Divine Mist inherited this tyrannical affinity, able to destroy everything in its path. As the lava imbued Divine Mist swept past, the Others were submerged into the mist and were then disintegrated, creating a path ahead.

However the corruption in the Other Dominion was too dense and the amount of Others was simply terrifying. Thus an endless number of strange Others pounced forward and even Li Foluo was blocked from progressing forward.

Of course Li Foluo wasn't the only one fighting back.

A moment later, blinding light resonant power that resembled the sun flooded the air as sacred light shone. Corruption was purified wherever it passed through and the Others were blasted into smoke.

Jiang Qing'e had made her move.

Her triple ninth-grade Light resonances condensed light resonant power that was incredibly tyrannical and its purification power was incredibly lethal to both the corruption and the Others. Thus the area which the resonant power swept through immediately opened up.

A single move of hers had greatly relieved the pressure on Li Foluo and the two joined forces to quickly tear a path through the corruption and Others, allowing them to advance.

Li Luo, Li Hongyou and the rest of the squad remained behind them, cleaning up any Others that had escaped the net.

The pressure was mostly being borne by Li Foluo and Jiang Qing'e, thus Li Luo had the luxury of looking around. It seemed that the entire city had no end in sight. Only billowing corruption filled his view.

Who knew just how many twisted Others were milling around in the darkness?

This was completely incomparable to the small Other Dominion they had encountered prior. It truly was a case of one being completely insignificant to the other.

The other squads who had followed them into the Other Dominion had completely vanished without a trace. It seemed as though they had been separated but this was also a good thing. If the squads were all placed in the same instance, they not only had to deal with the attacks of the Others but remained wary of those with greedy intentions.

Furthermore the dense corruption in this region meant that those without sufficient willpower would have their negative emotions amplified and might even do things that were simply irrational.

Li Luo's eyes shrunk. He could see that within this pale beam of light was a bleached white finger almost a foot long.

It radiated with frightening undulations.

A normal third-grade Duke would definitely die when faced with such an attack. The good thing was that Li Foluo had remained on alert the entire thing. He immediately took action and the halberd in his hand was thrown outwards like a roaring red dragon, colliding directly against the finger.

Weng! Shocking energy undulations blasted out in every direction as a result of the clash. Even the ground and buildings around them were shattered and completely leveled as a result.

This bleached white finger had been smashed apart by the halberd.

Li Foluo stretched his hand out and the halberd returned to his hand, the tip was raised, pointing towards the surging corruption before him.

"Watch out, the fourth-grade True Devil has arrived." He reminded.

The rest warily looked ahead and saw that the corruption began to condense into a single figure.

They could now see the view ahead.

On top of a dilapidated and mottled tower at the end of the street before them, stood a single humanoid figure.

This figure resembled an extremely tall woman several tens of feet high but her skin was alabaster white. However she didn't thrum with vitality, instead looking rather sickly and cold instead. There were only a few strips of cloth covering her important areas and her legs were unusually straight and slender. Meanwhile her figure was in contrast quite plump. Her facial features were charming but on top of her head sprouted two white horns.

If one were to look closely, it was actually made up of numerous bleached white fingers that had been sewn together individually. Finally the tip of the horn resembled a blooming lotus but the petals were made of fingers instead.

Li Luo's gaze lingered upon the tip of the horns. It was there where he could see two dark green branches growing from it. These branches seemed quite mystical and it was engraved with numerous runes that continued to devour worldly natural energy.

It seemed as though those were the high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures they had been looking for!
