Li Tingyue had arrived in the nick of time with her squad in tow. This caused the wild rabble consisting of the other squads to stop in their tracks. They had no assurance that they could take down both the Dragon's Fang and the Dragon's Scale Guardian squads and successfully snatch away the Foundational Spirit Treasures.

Thus the squads belonging to other powers and rogue cultivators thus chose to retreat without a further word, their resonant power fluctuations disappearing into the distance.

Li Foluo looked at the scattering squads as he coldly snorted. The four Duke Bergfrieds above him transformed into motes of light which were reabsorbed into his body as he retracted his resonant power.

"Keke, thank you Guardian General Tingyue for your timely assistance." Li Foluo smiled as he cupped his hands to express his thanks.

"The Divine Tiger Guardians Zhao Qianjun and the Golden Peng Guardians Zhao Baisun?" Li Tingyue was momentarily taken aback upon hearing his words. Zhao Baisun was a lower fourth-grade and the combination of the two squads would mean that Li Foluo would have to suffer in such a situation. What was most confusing to her was the fact that none of them seemed to be injured.

"Jiang Qing'e killed Zhao Baisun and Li Luo took out Zhao Jiyun, Zhao Zhuoyan and another. I'm afraid the Ten Thousand Beast Armies have been grievously injured this time." Li Foluo continued.

"What?" Li Tingyue's eyes became as wide as saucers. She even suspected that her ears might have some issue. Behind her, the Dragon's Scale Guardians' First Grand Commander was also completely dumbfounded.

The Golden Peng Guardian General was the fourth-grade Zhao Baisun so how in the world did Jiang Qing'e do it?

"Upper first-grade... upper third-grade spirit beast..." Li Tingyue paused for a moment as her expression turned complicated. Was this the supposed unrivaled-ness of a Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried genius? An upper first-grade Duke was capable of contesting against a fourth-grade Duke?

Ever since they entered the region with medium sized Other Dominions, Li Foluo could have at best conquered two of them. How could they have obtained three high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures then?

Li Luo hurriedly chimed in. "Actually this Other Dominion had two high-grade ones whereas the third one was seized from Zhao Qianjun."

Li Tingyue's lips twitched slightly. This "explanation" was as good as not explaining things at all.

Just what sort of medium sized Other Dominion would possess two high-grade Foundational Spirit Treasures? How had she not encountered such a fortunate situation?

Thinking back to how Li Luo and the rest had reacted when she asked to join them, a sudden thought sprang to mind as she asked tentatively, "Might you actually have a way to figure out what sort of Foundational Spirit Treasures are found within an Other Dominion before you enter it?"

Her gaze then locked onto the silent Li Hongyou as she continued, "Could it have to do with Hongyou's resonance?"

Li Luo was shocked. The fact that she was able to become a Guardian General did indicate that she had her own abilities. Just from their previous actions alone, she had managed to deduce the reason for their success.

That said they had to work together from now on and there was no need to hide anything. Thus he nodded his head. "Guardian General is indeed very sharp."

Hearing Li Luo's acknowledgement caused her to lightly exhale. Her gaze towards Li Hongyou heated up as she was clear how beneficial Li Hongyou's ability was.

Thus she understood that by joining them, they were the ones to have benefited from the arrangement.

It was no wonder why Li Foluo had hesitated.

It seemed that it was the right choice to come to their "rescue".

"Since we are the ones who benefit from this arrangement, we'll let you take the priority in selecting any treasures obtained from the Other Dominion. The distribution ratio will also be up to you." This arrangement also satisfied Li Foluo and Li Luo. Since they were so agreeable, there was no reason to not let them benefit as well.
