A hint of gratitude welled up in her heart. The Archaic Runes on her forehead began to glow ever more brightly and the two Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfrieds above her began to emit an even mightier sacred aura, blocking off the karmic flames.

With Li Luo's Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfried shattering, a burst of boundless energy surged outwards. The energy was violent and directly smashed the void apart, creating numerous rifts. Li Luo felt his insides churn. The act of destroying his own Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried had critically harmed his body. The only upside was that his second Duke Bergfried had not been perfectly formed and thus was not perfectly synchronized with his body. Otherwise, the backlash might have been unbearable.

He forcefully resisted the pain surging through his body as his hands formed a seal. The first Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried began to emit incredible devouring strength as it absorbed all of the energy resulting from the destruction of the other.

Their energies came from the same source and thus, it was very easily absorbed.

The only uncertainty was that the amount was simply too massive. Li Luo's first Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfried began to expand in size, and in the end, it stood tall like a giant mountain bridging the heavens and the earth.

“Argh!”

At this point Li Luo let out a pained cry. His dragonoid form was beginning to break apart as the humongous amount of almost berserk energy had filled his body.

Even with the aid of Transforming Dragon and the Heavenly Dragon True Body, he was unable to contain all of it! It was a testament to just how terrifying the amount of energy was.

Li Luo's violet-golden dragon scales began to show signs of breaking apart, and even his flesh and blood were showing signs of melting down, causing him to look extremely miserable. As time went on, even his bones began to show signs of fracturing and cracking.

At this point, a cry rang out. Li Hongyou was rushing over, and all her resonant power surged outwards, causing a wonderful fragrance to fill the air. A single Nine-Pillar Duke Bergfried floated above her.

This Duke Bergfried radiated with glorious light as a crimson fruit appeared. The fruit swayed within the light, and a dense fragrance permeated the air.

Roar!

Behind the crimson fruit was a slender dragon. The dragon looked like it was made of jade and gave off a sense of elegance along with a medicinal aroma. This was her Pharmacist Jade Dragon resonance.

Then Li Hongyou lightly bit the tip of her tongue and spat out a mouthful of blood essence. The dragon then gave a long roar and spewed out azure energy that fused with the crimson fruit's energy and integrated with the blood essence. The three energies combined to form a single spirit pill. On it were three draconic runes that seemed to be inactivated.

The appearance of the spirit pill filled the entire world with a dense fragrance.

Li Hongyou's face immediately turned pale. The azure spirit pill was none other than the special ability of the Pharmacist Jade Dragon resonance, the Jade Dragon Pill! If it possessed Nine Transformations, it would be unparalleled, capable of preventing one's body from being destroyed. However, she was only capable of creating a Three Transformations one at this moment.

With Li Lingjing and Li Hongyou's support, Li Luo was able to bring the terrifying amount of energy resulting from the destruction of his Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried under his control.

Li Luo's gaze was filled with bright light as he tightly grasped the Dragon Elephant Blade. The incredible power rushing through him caused even his blade to whine as it could barely resist the stress.
