Tantai Lan's expression turned slightly warmer upon hearing those words. The Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li clearly understood that the bigger picture was of more importance when facing changes that would harm their overall self-interests.
Li Luo sighed emotionally at the side. Following these monumental decisions, Heavenly Dragon City, which had been occupied by the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li for hundreds of years, would become much more sparsely populated. He was old and wily, so he understood the meaning behind Tantai Lan's words and pondered over how to respond.
"Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e's combined efforts allowed them to slay Qin Lian in the Treasure Domain. Without their contributions, even Li Jiluo might have died there. It would be unjust if this sort of contribution was not appropriately rewarded. With the Ancestor as the witness, both of them should be able to choose one of the Destiny-grade Duke Arts of the Heavenly Dragon's Five Lineages as a reward. What do you think about this?"
Li Tianji understood very well that Tantai Lan was taking this opportunity to squeeze out some benefits for Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e. What surprised everyone the most was what Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e had done.
Spirit Eye's abstruse eyes shrunk as he carefully observed Qin Jiujie. His pale face then revealed a wide smile. "The Faceless Other King's two facial skins are in your hands, am I right?"
Qin Jiujie nodded.
"Give me one of them." Spirit Eye stretched his hand out. "I'll introduce you to the Honored Lords and I'll also resolve any issues that may arise from your attack on Faceless."
Qin Jiujie fell silent for a few moments after hearing those words. After which, he stretched his hand out, and thunderfire erupted from his palm, taking the form of a godly pagoda. At the bottom of this pagoda were two madly squirming facial skins that were being suppressed.
He grabbed one of the skins and sent it to the Spirit Eye Other King.
Inky-black energy flowed out of his eyes, directly trapping the facial skin that was attempting to escape.
The blurry and distorted white facial skin suddenly let out an ear-piercing wail. "Help me, Spirit Eye! I'm willing to pay any price!"
Spirit Eye responded in a hoarse voice, "Faceless, you've been too careless. You have already lost everything. Even if you are revived, it will be difficult for you to regain your peak strength. You no longer hold much value."
Black light enveloped the facial skin before it was dragged back and stored away within Spirit Eye's eye.
"You can wait here for now." Spirit Eye left Qin Jiujie with a final sentence before turning to leave. He walked towards the end of the hall and opened the heavy door.
Behind it was a corridor, and at the end of it was a bottomless, black pool.
Within the pool was an enchanting girl with tightly shut eyes. Her naked upper body was covered by the water and her lower half was a black snake tail that exuded a cold aura. Every single scale on that tail reflected a mysterious light.
This was Li Lingjing's true body.
"Your aura has transformed significantly. You've truly brought me a pleasant surprise." Spirit Eye's gaze was filled with drunk fanaticism as he gazed upon the partially submerged girl. This was his life's most perfect work.
"Even the All-Beings Devil King's strand of will is about to be absorbed by you. This is why I feel that you should be able to accomplish something even more challenging."
The Spirit Eye Other King's eyes began to slowly rotate, and the facial skin enveloped by black light floated outwards, landing on the surface of the pool. The pale, white skin melted into the water, dyeing the majority of the black pool stark white. The white water then began to erode away at Li Lingjing madly.
This lasted a few moments.
Li Lingjing's black tail began to be dyed a chilling white.
Her pale and cold face then began to show expressions of pain.
