Chapter 1525 Never Forget To Take Revenge
Grey and Klaus stayed there for five more days before Grey fully grasped the array and how to disconnect it from the chubby man's life-force. It was a tiring process, but he didn't mind since his knowledge on arrays had increased in the process.
The Gnome were truly geniuses in the field of array. They could be regarded as arraymasters. Even a prodigy like Grey had to take a few weeks to crack one array. And this wasn't their most complex array, Grey was sure of this.
Even the way they created portals leading to the Aurora Continent showed they were not to be trifled with.
'If only I could learn a thing or two from their top arraymasters.' Grey thought to himself, and his eyes lit up.
He could control the Seventh Prince, making him tell one of the arraymasters to teach him what he knew wouldn't be difficult. Especially once the other Princes were dead, with only the Seventh Prince left, everyone would know he was the heir to the throne and would treat him with utmost respect.
Even those the Prince couldn't order previously would be under him since he was basically the next Emperor.
With this thought in mind, excitement danced in Grey's eyes. He always liked learning new things, especially when it came to arrays. This was a good opportunity, and he didn't want to waste it. All that's left now, was to wait for his father to signal him.
"Are we finally leaving?" Klaus asked.
"Yes."
"What about that guy?"
"He's dead."
"So efficient."
"I could kill him with a thought, it wouldn't be that hard after finishing the array. Besides, how did you think I tested it?" Diiscover new stories at novelhall.com
Klaus looked at Grey like he was crazy. He wasn't even a hundred percent sure about it yet he went on to kill the man. What if it didn't work?
When he moved closer, he saw the man sitting on a dining table, and on the side were some young men and women, accompanied by little children around the ages of four to ten.
The highest cultivation stage of the young men and ladies was the Seventh stage of the Venerable Plane.
Grey squinted his eyes, and with the help of the space element, he sneaked into the house without being detected.
'Should I strike now, or wait until he's alone?' He was caught in a dilemma.
He didn't want to waste too much time here, but he also didn't want to kill in front of these children.
'There's no time to waste, their father, or grandfather is an evil fellow who should be killed without hesitation.'
With this conviction in his mind, he took in a deep breath.
The man placed his hand on the shoulder of the young man sitting closer to him, and he was in the middle of laughing heartily when he noticed something strange.
He didn't remove his hand from the shoulder of the young man as he turned around to look behind him. He didn't see anything, and when he turned back, to his shock, the person in front of him was not the same as the person whom his hand had been placed on.
Grey grabbed the man and teleported the duo away from this place. Yes, he wanted to kill the man, but he still felt a pricking sensation in his heart, so he opted to take the man away and kill him there. He might return the body so his children could bury him after he was done.
Those at the table didn't realize what just happened until it was too late. Their father and grandfather had disappeared before their eyes, and so was the seat closest to his empty.
They were still trying to comprehend what was happening when the young man the man previously held walked out from the side of the hallway.
"What just happened? Where's father?" He asked with a confused expression.
"Someone took him."
